Pending full review. This is a company we have to use through our home warranty. Our air conditioner has been out for over a week. The temperature in the house is 83. We have 3 dogs and 3 kids living here. We reported issue to warranty company on the 3rd this company was assigned and looked at everything on the 6th. Right now as it stands we need a coil replacement. They told us the part can be 3 to 7 days after they order and they can not schedule the repair until they get the part. So this could be 2 more weeks or misery. I'll complete the review when done. I will say in the past when I did not have a home warranty my air conditioner went out and I had a company replace it the very same day. Meaning no time waiting. Same day service.
The service from the gentleman Hurst was phenomenal. He was knowledgeable and was patient with my questions. I had AC in like 20 minutes. So grateful for the service provided. Set up a maintenance plan with Comfort First-Concord. They were first rate in responsiveness professionalism and expertise. Awesome!
This is the second time I've been contracted out to this company via my home warranty for AC repair. First experience was awful, second time is just as bad. Takes almost two weeks for them to fix anything, but that's not the worst part. Worst part is is they act with zero urgency, and do not even call you to move things along. My AC needed replacement parts, fine no problem. Two days later after hearing nothing from them regarding an ETA for the parts, I reached out. They told me they needed my confirmation for the parts, so two days went by with them doing nothing, only for ME to call THEM for confirmation. They then took another two days to send the request to the home insurance company. So 4 days of inaction. After the insurance company called me to confirm they approved the parts. I AGAIN had to call them to get an ETA and appointment scheduled for them to come out again. I filed a complaint with my home insurance and told them to never contract my home out to this Comfort First again. I'd advise anyone else to do the same.
This is what you get after paying $480 to have your evaporator coil cleaned by Comfort First Heating and Cooling. I paid a premium price to have someone do the dirty work and my AC still froze over after their service. After a rude and hot awakening in the middle of the night I found my AC froze over and upon opening my unit it was COMPLETELY untouched. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere that will value your time and money. I ended up having to clean it myself in the middle of the night to get things working again, to say I’m unhappy is an understatement…
Noah came to my house with this company today and he was very nice and respectful, and came up with the resolution within 10 minutes. He was out of here within 15 minutes! I highly recommend this company, and will use them in the future. Thank you for being fast and professional.
BEWARE They didn't wanna work with my home warranty and held reports to try to bait me into getting a more expensive unit by financing thru them. Beware of shady business practices.
