I called Jessica and after speaking with her she said there was no appointments available. She called shortly after that and said that Mike was running ahead of schedule and could make it that day! It was the answer to my prayers as it was almost 90 in the house. Mike showed and was very professional, polite and absolute outstanding service. He got it fixed and I couldn't be happier! I highly recommend these guys and promise you won't be disappointed with them as they are fantastic people! They also filed all the insurance for me... super nice and fantastic people!
Mike was excellent at addressing my issues. He was very professional and very capable. Cma mechanical is the only place I call when I need hvac service. He made sure everything was working properly before he left.
Our A/C was not cooling. They came out a few hours after we called and got the problem fixed. Fast, efficient, courteous service!
When my 20 year-old heat pump failed, I called CMA Mechanical to quote a new system for us (heat pump, line set, air handler, new up-sized ducts, condensation pump, smart thermostat, and a new 40A circuit for the air handler). Although the business is in Concord and my house is far away in south Charlotte, they accepted the business. The owner (Mike) came out and did a complete walkthrough, discussed our system and HVAC needs, and gave different proposals for us to choose from, from a good/budget brand single-stage system to a name-brand high-end multi-stage system. We chose the latter. I appreciate that Mike is detail oriented (his work order had a complete parts list and detailed instructions for his techs) and a perfectionist. Everything was very professional. His men showed up well dressed every day in a company truck between 8-9 am three days in a row, working all day each day, until the job was done. They wore plastic booties when in the house to protect the floors. When his techs came out I got a text message telling me when they'd arrive and a link to track their location so I could plan to be home when they arrive. Everything was done correctly (city permits, licensed electrician was subcontracted for the new 40A circuit, inspection, post-install leak test, NC capital improvement paperwork, etc.). In addition, Jessica at CMA submitted paperwork to Duke Energy so we could get a $400 rebate (in the form of a pre-paid Visa card) from Duke Energy for the new system. Although they offer financing options, we received a $300 dollar discount for paying instead with a check. When the job was done, Mike came out to perform a complete/final inspection of his men's work and found one minor thing that he personally fixed so that he and I were fully satisfied. We have used CMA Mechanical Heating and Air several times for both big and small heating air issues. Called them at 200 pm and we were told they would be there between 300 pm and 500 pm. They arrived at 400 pm and I had cool air by 430 pm. Excellent service and a great value.
The tech had our air cooling again within 15 minutes of hitting the property. Can’t say enough good things about this company. They are knowledgeable, professional, and honest.

Victor was early to my appointment and very professional. He took pictures of our problem areas and explained it so I could understand. Will continue to use them for all of our HVAC services.
Today was the first experience I had with CMA and I'm so glad I called them. My AC unit was icing over and of course I feared a coolant leak. Mike came out and immediately wanted to look at the coil on the interior of the unit and sure enough it was clogged up. Mike got it clean and the unit is working perfect. What I was most impressed with is Mike explained everything and instead of just grabbing the refrigerant to fill it up he looked at everything that could be causing it. Mike's knowledge, professionalism, and personality has made CMA my number one and only AC/heat repair company.
Victor came out to inspect my air handler two days in a row. It was too iced over the first day, so he had to come back the following day. I was not charged for the first visit, which I very much appreciated. Victor walked me through everything he was doing and gave me honest advice on what to do if I had issues again. Will definitely use this business in the future.
CMA Mechanical has been a breeze to work with! They are more like a family run business with regards to their communication and responsiveness which we appreciate! They address any concerns and are very personable! Victor was thorough in his check and did not try to push any repairs, rather informed me of what needed to be done and wasn’t pushy with regards to getting it done today or immediately. I would certainly recommend CMA to any of our friends and family!
Victor has taken care of us for about a year now and he is fantastic. He’s a wonderful young man and excellent technician. He walks me through everything he is doing and summarizes what he has completed. He is very honest and will always be straight with you. CMA has been taking care of us for 5 years now and we could not be happier. Very highly recommend their services.
I had my HVAC units serviced on Friday 6/2/23 and received Excellent service! The technician Victor Ayala was very knowledgeable and professional. He took the time to explain everything and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend CMA to everyone.
my a/c went out early this morning. i called cma around 8 am , and its 1130 now and Mike has already been here, and fixed the problem. he had the part that was needed in his truck i can’t say enough good things about mike and his company. ive been using them for 10 years now, and will definitely continue
Called CMA on Friday morning of Memorial Day weekend due to non-functioning heatpump. About 3 hours later, Mike Andrews arrives with a big smile and handshake. In short order, Mike had diagnosed the problem as a bad start capacitor and made the necessary repair. The unit is 36 years old but Mike has it operating like new again. Mike's technical skills, personal diligence, and honesty are really really appreciated. When it comes to all aspects of HVAC work, CMA is the company to call. Jim
What an awesome experience with Victor Ayala today. No high pressure sales. We replaced four items based on his recommendations. He suggested items in the future which we will do before winter. He shared his life with us and we were able to pray with him before leaving. Great experience
Excellent job of quoting multiple options. Explained all pertinent information including rebates, etc. Installation crew were knowledgeable and professional.
Mike and Josh came out and improved our ductwork to better cool some of the church's classrooms that had been getting too hot. We are very pleased with the results, and CMA will have our business in the future.
