The company showed up close to scheduled time which was so appreciated and Evan was excellent in the service he provided and very pleasant and professional. He moved everything out of the way that was needed and put it back exactly as it was with great care. He explained everything that he was going to do and was very careful in his work. The place I rent from hired them to clean the HVAC ducts and vents and I am so glad they did as this company was great and I highly recommend.
Brice and Destiny were there early, and worked their tails off to get the dryer vent working. After removing drywall, because there was no crawl space, they fixed the problem and left the place very clean. I would recommend this company to anyone. Thanks!
Robert and Dwight arrived on time and did an excellent, efficient, and professional job cleaning out my dryer vent. Very friendly and professional. I have Carolina Duct Masters on my calendar every year for this service.
Terrible job. I hired them for duct cleaning services, they didn't hardly do a thing and they damaged my property. When I confronted the manager about it he just said he would call me back. As you might expect I did not get a call back and when I followed up he continued to shrug me off. If you value your time or house or money DO NOT go with these people. 0/5 stars
Recommend against using this company!! we hired this company to clean out our chimney in Sept. they arrived on time and started the job. They had to plug into an outlet in the laundry room to use one of their machines. That outlet blew, became non-functional and we couldn't reset the breaker it was on. They moved the plug to another outlet, blew that one and were done as we didn't want them using any more outlets at our home. We immediately called their office in Asheville and spoke with the manager, Marshall, and explained the situation. He was incredulous, but the technicians at our home knew that both of these outlets became non-functional upon their using them. One of the outlets was on the line with our refrigerator so we had to find an electrician to make an emergency service call at 6pm! The electrician was able to reset the breaker but had to replace an outlet as it was completely fried. He told us the Ductmasters equipment should not have been plugged into a regular home outlet. Luckily we were able to do so and we forwarded the invoice to this company and had several ensuing calls with Marshall, who agreed to reimburse us part of the charge. He has failed to do so despite our repeated phone calls to the Asheville office. This has been a complete disappointment for us and would never recommend this company.
I had them scheduled to come and clean my chimney I then got a call saying they couldn't get up my driveway. My driveway is good so we rescheduled this time another no show. I call them to ask what happened again I was told they tried to get up and they would just spin. So I walk down my driveway and no spinmarks and no rocks out of place. I waited two days on this company to clean my chimney and they would not show up. Do not use this company.
Reasonably priced. Punctional (early even). No hassel chimney repair and tuckpointing. Austin and Pete were great! Excellent customer service! Sorry to take so long to review! ...service date was 3-18-2022
We were NOT pleased with our experience. When we contacted Carolina Ductmasters we explained to them the height of our chimney and was assured they had the equipment to perform the job. When the two gentleman arrived in a van they did not have a ladder tall enough to reach the top of the chimney. They looked at the roof from the ground and went underneath the house and told us we needed a new cap on the chimney. Well we already knew that that was the reason for us contacting them. We even had a picture of the chimney cap prior to the coming. Of course, they wanted to be paid, we paid and contacted the office. The office was supposed to contact us the next day because they were dealing with an emergency. After waiting two days for a response my husband called them and was told they did their job…not sure where the performed the job but it definitely wasn’t at our house. I DO NOT recommend them for chimney work.
Be careful with this company. The cleaners who came out knocked loose the ductwork on my air intake. When they were leaving, they informed me of it, but tried to act like they didn't do it. It's a brand new system, just installed. Clearly their vacuums knocked the ductwork loose and disconnected it from the system. It's not a huge deal, it happens -- but fix it. The kept telling me over and over again that there's no way possible they did it, and that it must've been like that. LOL, seriously guys? The system has been working flawlessly since it was installed. Up until they arrived, the air handler was intaking air. Obviously you did it. They told me I needed to get my HVAC company out to fix it. I said, "Is your insurance going to pay for it because clearly you did it?" So one of the guys climbed up and into the attic and taped the duct work back to the system. It took like 5 minutes, but would've cost me $200 to get an HVAC company out to do the repair. It was such a weird interaction. Accidents happen, and I'm never going to be mad at a company for a problem arising, as long as they admit to it and fix it. It was such an easy fix too, the whole experience baffles me. Besides that odd behavior, I guess they did a decent job? Who can really tell.
The work was done very efficiently, however $175 for approx 30 mins work and no cleaning of the dryer l thought was exorbitant
CRITICAL: EXCELLENT SERVICE!!! I contacted carolina Ductmasters to clean out my dryer vent line on 3/9, and what a blessing they were. Pete and Austin were sent out and they went right to work. They were on time and took time out to explain to me how they were going to clean. They were finished within the hour and my clothes haven’t dried this fast in ages. Thank you Marshall, Pete, and Austin for taking care of our issue for us. We would definitely recommend to everyone.
Dryer vent cleaning done a wonderful job
DO NOT... I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Had them come out to clean a dryer vent. Was told for $150 they would clean vent from inside and outside. When came to outside they said it was too high up and couldn't do it. They actually wrote "too high up" on receipt. Called 'Marshall" the manger who first offered me $25 to which I declined and said just have someone else come finish the job. Marshall said some one will be there to finish. 9 Days go by of course no one comes and Marshall then refuses my calls until I told him I was filing a complaint with the BBB. Marshall then became aggressive, belligerent and extremely unprofessional. He refused to call me by my first name and when I keep correcting him he would continue to call me Ken and say whatever...real professional. Then they had a pleasant woman call me to say I was entitled to a full refund.... only if I take down the accurate review...to which I declined. Told then I will just file a complaint with the BBB...Note to Carolina Ductmasters you need Marshall to work on his personal and professional customer service skills. Once again do not use this company.
HAD THEM COME OUT TO CLEAN DUCTS, WHERE 2 HOURS LATE. DID A POOR JOB! CALLED MANGER WHOSE EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. NO WONDER HE HAS COMPLAINTS WITH THE BBB AND OTHER REVIEWERS ABOUT HIM AND HIS COMPANY. HIRE SOMEONE ELSE!
They cleaned my dryer vent on short notice and did a good job. We later found that there was a hole somewhere in the vent connection and the company came back and fixed it free of charge very speedily. Overall good experience.
They were highly recommended by a local business owner. Great customer service. Quick to help, walked us through for future.
Carolina Ductmasters cleaned my chimney and repaired my fireplace this month, and I can’t say enough about them. Travis performed both of these tasks and he is professional, personable, and kind. He gave me a discount out of the goodness of his heart. I will definitely be coming back for more services in the future. Good people!

An hour late and no phone call. Then told to reschedule because of rain while I'm sitting in the sunshine at the property. What a ridiculous waste of time.
