The folks at Buffalo Geothermal are experts at ground-source heat pump installations. The technology might not be the right fit for every household, but if you're even slightly curious, go get yourself a quote from this crew. You may find yourself unusually excited about an HVAC upgrade.
They installed my geothermal system in my house three years ago. The installers were friendly, and smart. They explained everything to me and were very helpful. Then 1 year from install my geothermal systems stopped in the middle of winter. I called, but they never answered the phone. I never got a call back. I had to call another company to come and fix my hvac. They ended up finding a lose wire that fell off of a connector. That shouldn’t happen. I didn’t write a review then because things happen, but now it is 2 years later and my system is broken again! Nobody is answering the phones and I am once again calling a different company. I have never had a new system break this much, and it wouldn’t bother me if they responded to service calls. If you want geothermal you should definitely get it. I save money on my heating and cooling. Just have it installed by someone else.
Alternative energy source, geothermal technology the best way to convert
We had Buffalo Geothermal install a brand-new Waterfurnace geothermal system in 2019. The system included a Waterfurnace 7-series forced-air heat pump and a smaller heat pump to produce domestic how water. This system replaced our hydronic boiler and tank water heater. We had this system installed because we wanted air conditioning and our water heater was on its last legs. The project was large because of the fact that ductwork was installed, in addition to the outside loop field, circulation pump and the two heat pumps. The entire Buffalo Geothermal team was 100% solid, including Joe, Mike, Jens and later on Johannes. Residential geothermal is the best possible form of heating and cooling so far as the environment is concerned. These guys know how to do it right.

Company was informed I was having issues with my unit from the manufacturer after another local company refused to service me and they reach out to me to help me with my issue without being prompted or with any obligation to do so. Hard to find that type of integrity and service today.
We built our house 9 years ago and installed a geothermal system with buffalo Geothetmal. They were prompt professional and inexpensive. Their response time has always been top notch if we had any issues including just a few days ago. Still worry free!
