Best price I’ve seen so far in this area for AC replacement
I called because it was 90 degrees outside and my A/C stopped working. Fred arrived quickly, diagnosed the problem, then fixed the A/C all within 30 minutes. Great service, great price! I will definitely call them again. Thank you so much!
Fred was flexible with setting a time for an appointment the same day I called. He diagnosed my issue quickly and provided great advice for fixing the problem myself.
I cannot recommend Syracuse Heating and Cooling enough! I called at 3:02pm. Was not expecting a reply anytime soon as it was not an emergency. Fred called at 4:13pm. He was over my house withing 20 minutes. He explained the problem, gave me all the alternatives and within about 1 hour the AC was up and running. From the moment I met him, it was like he and I were friends from a very long time. The price was more than fair and the great advice saved me from having to get a whole new system. This is an update: Fred put in a full refrigerant charge at cost of $780.00 with the dye that was supposed to expose the leak. Unfortunately by the next day, all the refrigerant was gone again. Fred did come back, but could not find the apparent major leak in any of the components of the system. I was not ready to invest in whole new system at a cost of around $7-8500 to cool one floor of the house (my house is a split system with no ductwork upstairs-has electric baseboard heating upstairs). Went to the Walmart website, ordered 3 5000btu window units which easily fit in three small modern 20 inch windows. They are quiet, work on auto (turn on and off to maintain a constant temperature like the ducted system worked) unobtrusive and took about 35 minutes to put all three in. Total cost $540.00. We already had a couple of window units upstairs, but our kids are grown so their bedrooms no longer need to be cooled/heated except when they come home to visit.

Fred is excellent, hands down. He is responsive, flexible, professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. I've never had a problem he can't fix. He would also rather work with you on price, and take the time to do good work so that he gets your repeat business; he never cut corners and is always 100% honest.

Worked with Fred. Emergency/on call services were used, he gave a time frame of when he could make it and was on time. My central air stopped working, services that were needed were explained and done in a timely manner. Great experience, will use again and would recommend.

Could not be happier. Furnace quit and within 2 hours heat was restored by a very friendly and knowledgeable technician. Highly recommended.
Fred and his team were fantastic. My boiler broke and I called after hours, they had a truck come out at 7 PM in a snowstorm to give me an estimate. After that the team was back the next morning and fixed the issue before noon.
Very bad experience. Guy Fred , may be the owner of this company very unprofessional to talk. He told me “ I have one minute to decide to pay full amount before he start the work” . Which is totally wrong to say to the client . I told him to take half money before and half after finishing the work but he was not listening. So he left and I am in the middle of my incomplete work looking for another company. This is not professional , will never recommend him to anyone.
