Needed a new AC unit and not only did they respond with a technician the same day. I received a new installed unit the next day! Great responsiveness and felt like they cared every step of the way! I would highly recommend them for any AC or heating needs! Very satisfied with the entire team.

We've used Angelo Chiodo since he installed one of the first "Zone" heating and air conditioning unit from Carrier, in our custom home in 1994. His installation and service was impeccable. Always there when there was an issue, and after nearly 30 years in the home, he replaced the furnace and air conditioning unit in less than 36 hours. His mechanics worked the weekend to complete the installation. They're a remarkable company. Customer service has always been Angelo's top priority. He treats you like family. What more can you ask for.
After 21 years , our central air conditioning system failed. After checking out a few companies, I chose Angelo Chiodo. Their service people Jim and James were terrific. They were on time, curtious, and installed a much more efficient , high-qualityCarrier Central Air Conditioning system. In addition they offered 18 month no interested, same-as-cash financing and provided forms for a $600 federal rebate. We are so satified with Angelo Chiodo that we are also pruchasing a maintenance service contract.
Had an appointment for the afternoon of 6/23/23. After waiting all day for a basic maintenance call no one showed up or called to explain why. I finally called at 8:20 to ask why and wasn’t really given an explanation. At that point I decided to cancel the appointment and go with another company. After doing business with Angelo for 50 years, even before he opened his business, it was a disappointment to see that his reliability and professionalism had disintegrated. I guess it’s a by-product of growing to large. Time to move on. The response from Angelo Chido is the result of me not caving to the pressure from Frank and Angelo Chido to remove my less than perfect review of their company. I do not have the wrong company and I will not not be bribed by offers of free service and accusations of lying about my experience. Your guys dropped the ball. Own it. Now I understand why all of the reviews are five stars. These guys stoop to new lows to try and save their reputation. There are many reputable and reliable companies out there that do exceptional work. Look around and be smart before you choose.
I rarely write reviews but due to the outstanding service I received from Angelo Chiodo heating and air conditioning, I decided to write one.During these past weeks of hot and humid weather, my air conditioner system was not functioning. I called for service expecting to wait but was extremely surprised that a service person would be available even though I called rather late. The service person was on time, professional, and personable. Thank you Angelo Chiodo and employees.
I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with Angelo Chiodo. Every member of their team was nice, personable, and knowledgeable. Their phone was always answered by someone (not a recording) and services were very prompt. Jim and James installed a new AC & furnace in our house and did a great job. Both were installed in the same day. They were both very kind and professional.
Installers were friendly, knowledgeable, on time and worked efficiently!! Things were cleaned up and left neat and orderly when they finished up!! Very happy and I highly recommend!!
The BEST company out there! We were without hot water / heat for almost 2 months. We had multiple companies come out and quote us insane amounts. Chiodo came out the next day after I called and did an estimate, gave us multiple options for what we wanted to do and fixed it not even 2 days later. They were personable and understanding. Other companies treated us like all they wanted was our money and could care less about what was our situation. Chiodo’s technicians were the total opposite! They were professional, knowledgeable, real, and authentic. Treating us like human beings and not just a way to make money. We will always come back to these guys! If anyone is looking for a company that they can count on for Rinnai Products & any other hvac needs this is the place!
From the beginning to the end was top notch service. We had an AC and a furnace installed at a great price . Jim and James were courteous and professional. On top of that a Carrier product ! We have used Angelo Chiodo for years for our HVAC maintenance and always found them very easy to work with. In the past year, we have had to replace both our furnace and our AC unit, so we have had even more reasons to call. The furnace replacement was especially crucial bc it was an urgent install during some of the coldest temps of the winter - they showed up for an emergency call within half an hour on a Friday night after hours to look at the situation and were able to do the install of the new furnace within two days even though it was a long weekend. They are always communicative, prompt to arrive and very thorough, including putting down drop cloths/cleaning things up as they work.
I just had my ducts cleaned and furnace, hot water tank, and a/c replaced. The whole process was made easier than I would have ever expected. Jon the project manager was extremely knowledgeable and helped me to pick out the best equipment for my home. The installers were fantastic as well. If you are in the market do youself a favor ang give them a call they saved me thousands compared to their competitors.
Bogus radio ads....didn’t want to travel 20 minutes from Syracuse, told us 2-3 weeks out for a service call, rude people answering phone. Found someone else and will never call them back.
I would like to start off by saying that I am sure this call was probably one of the weirdest calls they’ve had. My cat has gone missing, and my family and I thought we could hear her crying in our heating vents. Upon answering my call I was greeted with a sweet woman who immediately got someone on the line to help me with no hesitation. She transferred me over to a technician whose name is Jon. He went above and beyond not only showing me where she may have gone in, what vents to pull up, and quoted me for a cleaning all in one swoop. Each step of the process was explained in great detail in terms I could understand so I wasn’t confused. He also kept me more calm during the process whereas at the start of the call I was a sobbing mess. If that wasn’t all amazing in itself he was more willing to even help me look for my cat himself!! I can’t wait to continue to work with this tech and company to get my venting in tip top shape. 100/100 stars
This past Monday while are work, I received a call from the wife / son at home advising that the furnace was not working, and the temperature was dropping in the house. As a result of having a back up heater, they made it through the night, and upon my arrival home in the morning (Tuesday), I began the trouble-shooting process, first starting with the batteries in the thermostat, then moving onto the unit. Once the front access cover on the unit was opened, it was quite obvious that the main wiring harness to the control board had arched out, briefly catching fire, causing the unit to stop work. Over the course of the day, I contacted a few repair facilities to receive pricing on the replacement harness, control board, however after obtaining these, it would be over $600.00 and there were delays on receiving. Our house was built in June of 1980, we moved in May of 2001 and a quick decision was made as a result of the current unit giving us a good 22 years and was a total of 43 years old. As a result of dealing with Angelo Chiodo to add our central air when we moved in, a call was made to have someone come out to quote replacing the unit and return phone call was received within 15 minutes. On the return call, Jon was quick to listen (was going to send a tech, however I explained the unit was DEAD and didn't want to tie the tech up). He advised he was on the way quote up a new unit as he did not want us to spend another day / night without heat. He arrived within the hour, provided the quote, offered the assistance on helping us find any necessary heaters we needed to get through the evening (we already had one) and the new install was scheduled for the morning. On Wednesday morning, there was a ring at the door bell at 8:15 am, the installer was courtesy and ready to get to work on removing the old unit and to start the new install. Over the next several hours, the installer laid down drop cloths to be sure not to get the rugs dirty (basement is finished),
Very positive first-time experience with the Angelo Chiodo team. Excellent result at a fair price. It is a pleasure working with Jon, Jim and Fred. Was visiting a family member in Syracuse, NY a few Saturdays ago and noticed that their house wasn't getting warm. We waited until Sunday and notices it still wasn't heating. First thing Monday morning we call Angelo Chiodo Heating and explained the issue. Within an hour the service showed up and gave us an assessment on the problem. He went over repair cost and total replacement cost. Seeing that the furnace was over 15 years old, we opted for total replacement. By 3:30 that afternoon we had a new furnace installed with a new warranty and the house was warming up. As a follow-up the service came back that evening and made sure the wifi thermostat was programed and working properly. We couldn't be happier with the attention to detail and follow-up Chiodo heating provided. (old school service) I would definitely recommend them.
