Made an appointment with them. We used Angi to book an appointment for 3pm today. We even got an email this morning with all the details about the appointment and confirming time and date. It's now 7pm no call no show. I left work early and lost pay and they can't even call to cancel.
We had two whole house generators installed on two properties, both in same day, came at 8am and completed install by 5pm! I was impressed. After the propane company hooked up the gas the next day, 4 Power Now returned to test and walked me through a mock outage. Jim, the owner, took the time to show and explain everything to me. He scheduled the install very quick, within days of the initial estimate, I was shocked actually! Jim also honored the 10 year warranty that Generac was offering the proceeding weeks. Good communication, and competitive price, less then 2 others. The install experience by the crew was great even in the cold & rain of January. Other companies would not even do an install until spring! Within that month we had our first power outage! What a relief as the generator kicked on within 50 seconds! Having the piece of mind that comes with our whole house generator is priceless. The 24 hour service is a comfort as well. I would highly recommend this company.
I've used this company's service twice to have my home generator serviced. Mr. Dox was extremely courtious and when I was offered the yearly schedule service, I was happy to sign on. Sadly, a year later the scheduled service never happened and I was forced to call and establish a date for service. Again, Mr. Dox came to my home and I was plenty happy to have him return. I was then again offered to have him return a year later for cheduled service, but Mr. Dox never returned. No call. No calls returned from my inquiries. Nothing. I cannot understand why this company cannot keep to a simple schedule that's established more than a year out. I'm basically throwing $200+ at someone to just change a filter, some oil, and start the thing to make sure its running as it should. I paid over $8k for this generator and keeping a scheduled maintainance plan on this unit is vital. Apparently 4 Power does not see this the same way as I do. Thanks for blowing me and my family off. How does one squander a sure thing....I'll never understand.
No call no show then came 830 at night not very knowledgeable and said get me prices and never got back to me.
Made an appointment with them a week in advance THEY NEVER SHOWED UP or called to cancel. I took a day off work to be home. If you arent professional or just grown up enough to call and cancel, stop doing business. I even called to ask them if they were coming and they RE-confirmed. A call to say you can't make it, sorry, goes a long way. Otherwise take your sign down and stop doing business...they were very unprofessional. Not sure why they felt the need to lie.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I had a generator installed by them that per my contract came with a 7 year warranty. My transfer switch failed this summer and another company responded at 1am to repair it. When they went to submit it to Generac warranty it was discovered 4 Power Now NEVER submitted the warranty even though I paid for it! I have been told by Amanda for 4 months they will take care of it. I’m still getting a bill that should have been taken care of under warranty. I would buy a giant hamster wheel and battery bank before using this company again.
BEWARE..HORRIBLE business. SCAM ALERT! I made appointment 2 wks in advance and called to confirm the day prior. Day of service, they did not show and did not cancel or reschedule. Now no one will answer the phone or return emails. This business is a SCAM! Call someone more reputable.. NOT THIS JOKE of a business! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!
4 Power Now installed a whole house generator for my home. They were friendly, fast, and professional.
I have been a Solar Power client of 4 Power Now for over 7 years. When they were Tag Mechanical they managed the financials (Fed, State, County, & local subsidies and low cost loans) and installed 48 Solar Panels on my roof with all the accompanying installation specifics including wiring, mechanical mounts and power grid integration. For these 7+ years my system has produced all the power I have required.
We had a furnace and AC installed and can't speak highly enough of the professionalism, service, and courtesy that Amanda provided! We highly recommend them and will definitely call them again!
My Furnace died when it was 19 degrees out. I called 4 Power Now and they came right over and installed a new furnace. They were professional and fast, when other companies said it would take hours. I had heat very quickly. I highly recommend them.
Vent fan in roof of my house was whistling so loud that neighbors began complaining! 4 Power Now showed up and immediately diagnosed bad bearings in the fan motor. After they climbed through the attic and removed the motor, they ordered a new one and promptly re-installed it. All good now, no whistling and no complaining neighbors! Definitely a company i like doing business with. Ps. they also do the annual maintenance on my furnace and A/C!
Amanda and Jim Doxtater both responded to our house to address a heating vent issue. They went above and beyond to identify and fix the problem. They were very professional and reliable. We also appreciated that they took appropriate Covid precautions, inclusing wearing masks at all times. We definitely recommend them.
Where do I begin? This company provides so many services other than HVAC!! Ok, well my generator is getting a little up there in age and was not performing correctly. When it did not come on when needed in a horrible rain storm, they came at midnight, pouring rain, no light of course and got it running!!👍🏻👍🏻 We have two hot water heaters in our house. Last year went to the basement to find one end with about an inch of water. Made a call and within 20 minutes they were here to fix the problem and cleaned up!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 OMG, again today, the other hot water heater did the same thing and they were here in less than 20 minutes and made the repair and cleanup. Oh, they also do electrical. They ran a 220 line from inside my house,(and it was not easy) outside for my hot tub install!! Has been running perfectly since!!! Do not ever hesitate to call!!! Incredibly knowledgeable and able to do anything you might need!!! I trust them to go into my home anytime, even when no one is home. Please consider them for any of your home needs!!!
I work with Amanda at this company. She is amazing. I highly recommend her. I had a Generac placed at my home and from beginning to end the service was superb. She answered all my questions, she gave her professional advice as to placement. She has also done other work for me. The personal attention, doing work after hours. Going beyond the call of duty. I have worked with multiple companies over my lifetime and I have never seen such hard work, total commitment to customer satisfaction, dedication. Don’t use any other company. 4 Power Now came to install a whole hose generator for my family. From beginning to end the process was smooth and timely. My project turned out to be quite challenging due to some electric issues with my house that had nothing to do with this project, but they still finished on time and didn’t charge me any extra for the extra work. We live in an area where the power goes out often and feel much more secure knowing that no matter what we will have power to our home.
THE PRIOR COMPANY (TAG MECH) WAS MUCH BETTER. THE GIRLS WORKING THERE ARE RUDE AND ARGUMENTATIVE NOW. WANTED INFORMATION WHEN THEY CALLED ABOUT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE SERVICE PRICE OF 175.00 OR 225.00 FOR WHAT I WOULD GET. ASK TO SEND IN A EMAIL BUT NEVER RECIEVED. WHEN I CALLED I SAID IT WAS A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO AND THE GIRL AGRUED ABOUT THE TIME FRAME AND SAID IT WAS SENT. SHE SHOULD HAVE STATED "SORRY YOU DID NOT GET IT I WILL SEND AGAIN" INSTEAD OF CLAIMING SHE WAS RIGHT. I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH 4 POWER NOW. WHAT A JOKE.
4 Power Now is a great family company! They installed a Generac standby generator for me and they were just out to the house to service it last week. They do a great job and their prices are still the best (I shop around) My technician explained that the company underwent some transitions in the past few months. I’m so glad and relieved that they’re back with a new name... 4 Power Now!!
