Our ac unit fan stopped working we called Jim Hall HVAC today they had a gentleman by the name of Matt very knowledgeable, professional and fixed our unit. He knew exactly what the issue was. He checked for leaks came upstairs checked our thermostat and checked our boiler room. Matt thank you for handling the job we are extremely pleased not only on your knowledge but your professionalism thanks again - Christine T
We are very pleased with the service and professionalism of Jim Hall HVAC. My fiance just came home from the hospital and our furnace/AC system needed to be replaced and they made us top priority, which was greatly appreciated. Each crew member was very nice, friendly and thorough in their work. Vinnie was exceptional and really made us feel like more than just a customer, his demeanor and care are top notch. He came out again today to check up on the job and even took out time with Lil Tony to fix our front door knob out of the kindess of their heart. Another example of exceptional customer service. I would highly recommend their HVAC services.

I have been a customer for several years. Jim Hall was recommended to me, and I have been truly blessed. Today Matt and Vinnie came to fix a problem with my thermostat. Matt figured out the problem in seconds. He and Vinnie are just wonderful gentlemen. So helpful, friendly, easy to talk to, professional, I can’t say enough. And the ladies that answer the phones are also wonderful.

I had a hallway that had no heat and just had new baseboards added, a third zone added to my boiler and new thermostats. The heat in my house has never worked this good! I am extremely happy with all of the work that was done.

Jim Hall HVAC are extremely professional, helpful and knowledgeable. Vin & Tony are excellent technicians and did a fantastic job. Also - as an aside - I looked out my window this a.m. and saw their truck with reminded me to call for a winter tune up. I did and they were able to squeeze me in in just five minutes - NOW THAT'S SERVICE! Thanks very much!

Great installation: excellent communication, professional, good appointment response for estimate, thorough, very clean work site, nice teamwork, on time and a pleasure to deal with. Jim Hall installed our A/C system years ago with new ductwork throughout our older house. They really did an outstanding job. We were equally satisfied with our new furnace installation. When the work was complete, Matt took the time to review the system and thermostats with us and answer all of our questions. Great job and Impressive customer service, thank you Jim Hall HVAC!
I needed an entire replacement in my home. New central air, new furnace, humidifier and hot water heater. I called Jim Hall. Matt came to my house, he explained everything, he went over the process and said the installation would be on Monday at 8am. Monday, 8am, they showed up, they removed the old equipment, they hauled everything away, and installed the new. Matt even stopped by as they were installing. Very professional, very neat and organized, and the price was better than I expected. Since it's a new unit, we had some questions so I called Matt and he came back and answered all of them. Excellent service all around. I would 100% recommend Jim Hall.
I originally used Jim Hall HVAC to replace my A/C and heating system in the middle of a heat wave a few years ago. He had the best price after checking several other companies. They showed up early and went right to work. They replaced myb21 year old system in one day. Ibwas up and running before dinner time. Fast forward 2 years my hot water heater went. Jim Hall replaced my hot water heater in about an hour. They were professional and fast. I would highly recommend them for any HVAC need.
I needed to replace an indirect hot water heater that is married with the boiler because the old one developed a pinhole leak. I reached out to Jim and he was able to order a top rated unit that day, and then his team installed it the following day. The technicians led by Matt came on time, did a great job removing the old one and installing the new one. They cleaned everything up, were super nice and very professional. I've had used Jim Hall about six years prior to replace one of my central a/c systems and they also did a great job then. I highly recommend Jim Hall HVAC when timely high quality professional work is required.
Jim Hall HVAC installed a new furnace and ducts for us. They installed next day so that we wouldnt go to long with a poorly working furnace. The team, lead by Matt, was professional, timely, and provided excellent service for us. They answered all questions responded promptly and performed clean work. We are so happy we called Jim Hall for our HVAC needs and will be using them for any future needs.
Jim Hall HVAC is a great family run business. They installed a new HVAC system in our first home many years ago and they maintained it perfectly for 12 years, and I now trust them to maintain a more sophisticated, heavy-duty system in our new Home. We have had Annual Maintenance Contracts on both homes through Jim Hall that provide us an even greater level of service and convenience, especially in Emergency Situations, which are well worth the reasonable cost. Matt is our go-to guy. He recently took the time to talk me through setting up a Smart Home Thermostat system, recommending equipment to purchase that would work best in our home based on our system and preferences, and then he and another technician installed it and got it running to perfection. Matt is incredibly professional, very easy to talk to, and has been very generous and accommodating with guidance and advice about the overall efficiency and climate control in our home. Matt's a young man, but he is Old School when it comes to getting the job done and providing excellent customer service. Matt also made referrals to trusted professionals to complete work outside of Jim Hall's scope, which we genuinely appreciated. Stephanie in the office is incredibly professional, helpful, and pleasant to communicate with, as well. Most importantly, service appointments are always kept, they are easy to schedule, and the technicians always arrive on time. I've used Jim Hall for years, have never had anything but pleasant and positives experiences, and I very highly recommend them.
I had the winter maintenance for my system yesterday and Matt is the best. Matt was very professional and thorough.. Matt told me a story of what his father told him, if he puts his name on anything he does it has to be perfect.. Matt was perfect
Worst experience I ever had, my family was without central AC for over a month, very rude they told us it was gonna be free estimate but they really charge us 100$ , and did not put it towards the job like they told us, We had to call almost every other day because they were telling us different stories about the piece that it was being fix , my poor baby got a rash from the heat , the fans we got was not enough. Save your self a bad experience.
Today i called Jim Hall HVAC and i was very happy with their service. For many years i had been a customer of A1 Service Master HVAC. They are no longer in business and I am quite pleased with Jim Hall HVAC. Christine was a pleasure to speak with on the phone and Techs Matt and Oscar were polite, knowledgeable and professional. I have recommended this company to my relatives.
Jim Hall HVAC is a great family run business. Honest, hard working, and an asset to our Staten Island community. Matt and team are super professional and did a great job installing my central air and hot water heater. I've used them for years!
Jim Hall and his staff are the best. I dealt with Stephanie, Al, Matt, the installers and of course THE MAN Jim. I trusted my long time contractor who recommended Paul Kenny to do a "great" job for $2500 less than Jim's estimate. What a mistake. In this world you get what you pay for. The job was a total abomination with wrong parts, manufacturer spec violations and sub standard workmanship which included leaking air from all ducts and air handler and NO sealing of any ducts. And that was just the tip of the iceberg. We were so upset and got no response from Kenny until he finally told us to go "F" ourselves. I had paid him on my contractor's (now former contractor!) word before the job was completed and Paul Kenny said he'd be back to check everything and give me bill of sale. He never came back! I called Jim to please come by and inspect everything and help us. He was such a gentleman and was aware of unlicensed contractors ripping people off because customer's got it for less and then would be sorry. And even though Jim did not do the job he sent his best techs and he also came himself. They were all so knowledgeable and showed and explained everything that was wrong with the job. Jim felt genuinely upset for us and agreed to send his installers at a discounted rate for all that had to be done. We were very grateful. The installers were professional and courteous and did a great job! We sued Kenny for a total refund and it is with the court now. With Jim's itemised bill of sale and notes we are confident we will win and hopefully put Paul Kenny out of business. So our next move is to thank Jim by giving him our annual AC maintenance contract. It is the least we can do. He is a man of integrity and caring as well. I hope anyone reading this absolutely true story will learn a lesson before making the same mistake we did. Thank you
