Informative and honest. Jerry replaced my boiler and hot water tank. He explained things to me so that I fully understood the job. We had some small complications afterwards but Jerry returned to fix the issues and didn’t try to charge me for the extra visit. Thanks!
I was very impressed with Jerry's knowledge of the whole gas issue when national grid found a gas leak and he had to replace all the old galvanized piping that I had in this old house. He explained everything step by step, the process of filing the permits with the city and getting approval with the building department. He also had to replace my old boiler system. He installed that in several hours. He was on time and always understood my concern about causing damage to my house. I highly recommend him and I know I will be using him in the future.
Jerry responded quickly to my late afternoon call and had me send pictures of my water heater with measurements. He was able to come out the next morning and do the work. Only had to suffer less than 24 hours without hot water. Jerry replaced broken water heater with new AO Smith in two hours and everything looks and functions well. I would call Jerry again next time I need a plumber.
The experience were very pleasant the repair man were very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Most importantly he got the job done.
Jerry's installation work is beautiful. His price was fair and he has a wealth of information that he offers for free. He is my plumber now, I wouldn't bother calling anyone else. He even came back a month after installation to help me correct a noisy pipe issue and he did not charge me. That is above and beyond what most companies would do.

I wired newly installed boilers as an electrician for many years. I’ve seen many heating systems installed. Jerry’s work is great. The right job at the right price. He is knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. That is extra value. I’m happy I found them.

Called them to check on our boiler because it wasnt turning on, they came and said the thermostat needed to be set and charged me 300 dollars. Set my thermostat and boiler still wont turn on. Called them back and they said they will return. Never heard from them again…took my 300 dollars to just tell me my thermostat needed to be set. Never again will I use or reccommend them for anyone.
Jerry and his team are professional, friendly, and on time! They have serviced the boiler in our coop and also worked in individual units. Jerry is completely transparent on what repairs are needed and the pricing. He did the disconnect/reconnect for my new gas range and also installed a new kitchen sink faucet and valves for the hot and cold water lines. I felt his prices were fair and everything was done quickly and neatly. Absolutely no problems or need for a call back. Highly recommended!
Jerry's has been a great go to for our heating, AC and plumbing needs. We had to replace our boiler in the middle of last year's cold snap in December and boilers were hard to source and parts were often on back order. Jerry was able to get us a boiler on time and even went out of his way to make sure that we had all the parts needed by sourcing and driving to New Jersey to make sure our building was able to get heat as quickly as possible. Jerry's has been a great resource for all of our HVAC needs, has been flexible with prices and has always been extremely professional and delivered what he's promised. I can highly recommend Jerry's for any and all of your HVAC and plumbing needs.
Jerry is a favorite among our co-op. I’d say the best thing about him isn’t just that he and his crew do great work, it’s that he is responsive and communicative. He replaced the boiler in our building last year, and after that we had him install thermostatic valves in our apartment so our radiators would be easier to control. He and his crew did a quick job, were Covid safe, respectful of our home and our schedule, and he was available to answer follow-up questions afterwards. Recently we’ve been considering having some work done in the back of our building to address a water drainage issue in the garden, and Jerry made sure that we were on the same page; he came by not once but twice to discuss the issue and be open and honest about possible solutions. He doesn’t push you to hire him, he lays the facts out as he sees them and lets you make your own decisions after he makes sure that you understand things properly. I am very grateful for his honesty, his time, his good work, and his willingness to share his knowledge.
Jerry provided timely and quality service by replacing my 50 year old oil boiler with a new gas boiler. He coordinated with the NYC DOB on a regular basis to get the approval and kept me informed of the conversion progress during the entire process. He was flexible with all the changes required for the certification in my home and his staff was very professional in getting the job done right. I had a small gas leak outside my home near the meter and called National Grid to take a look at it. Unfortunately they had to shut my gas line even if the leak was very small. I had to get that leak fixed right away so I immediately called a few places. Out of all the places I called, Jerry was the most professional, honest and fairly priced one. Other places were telling me I may be out of gas for a month or two while they worked on it and I thought that was absurd. Jerry explained to me what needed to be done and in less than a week I was able to get my gas back! Worksmanship was excellent and he exceeded my expectations, very prompt in answering you, courteous and professional, would definitely recommend him to my family and friends and anyone who needs any work done. My experience with Jerry’s Plumbing and HVAC was great from start to finish. Jerry came on short notice to evaluate my situation when the heat boiler broke in a cold snap, gave me a great quote, ordered the new boiler and water heater the same day, and started the work immediately. Every step of the process was explained to me and he explained the mechanics of how a heating system works. I felt like I was in an episode of This Old House! The work was done professionally and I have heat once again. Jerry’s employees John and Jason deserve a special shout-out because they also did great work and everyone was able to finish the work in a day. Everyone was communicative, respectful of my home, and professional. And especially during this pandemic they took the necessary precautions (face masks, shoe booties, etc) to make sure the work was done safely. Ps, tip your workers... they deserve it, especially during a pandemic.
Jerry and his crew were fantastic. Another plumber I hired walked off the job leaving work unfinished; Jerry came to the rescue. In less than 24 hours after speaking to Jerry, a Certificate of Insurance was obtained for my co-op and my refrigerator line was repaired. The crew was professional, efficient and left my kitchen clean and most importantly, functional. Thank you, Jerry and crew!
