Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time with this company. Not only are they union workers and charge significantly more than everyone else, they do a terrible job. We had them over for a coil clean and they did a half job and left a wire in the water pan which blew out our transformer. We had another company come to clean up the mess and they were baffled what a bad job Arista did and mentioned they would have charged around $950 not $1,550 for a coil clean, and they would have actually cleaned everything. I’ve given them two tries at this point and almost did a service contract. There are more qualified better companies on the UES. Oh and they love telling you how busy they are so they can send one of their post grad union folks over for some overtime rate.
We got these guys in as they were the building HVAC company. They came and said they didn't have filters needed. So they rebooked a new time. They have now not shown up twice for appointments. I have rung them 7 times in 3 days. Sent emails. I even sent one to the VP of operations. No response. Terrible terrible terrible. Choose another service provider just not this one!

Overall it was a disappointing experience. Charging service call by hour is one of kind, and I’m not sure what kind of transportation would cost almost $200 to travel from LIC to midtown Manhattan. The technician came up with a detailed diagnosis with pictures but I’m not sure whether that justifies a cost of couple hundred bucks. I didn’t move forward with them.
We located Arista based upon their very high ratings on Google, unfortunately sometimes ratings don't portray a full picture of the quality of services provided. Their service fees were slightly higher than other quotes (and after re-reviewing the quote, they charged for a pulley that was already on our system, so we also got overcharged), but figured sometimes "you get what you pay for" and maybe it would be worth it. It ended up taking 3 separate visits (2 of them being over an hour) to our location to properly repair our HVAC system, this being after I already told them exactly what the problem was before anyone even came (having done electrical work in the past this could have been done in an hour or two but the building wasn't repairing it ourselves for liability purposes). We could have overlooked the amount of visits required to get the work done, but where they really dropped the ball was with communications. They sent us a bill after the fact which was $260 higher than what was given as a direct quote in the beginning. When this was brought up to accounting and the account manager it took them over 4 months of emails for them to finally correct the problem, it seems like it was an ongoing problem in their own internal communications as well as communications with us.
Very capable organization.
I’m not sure about the staff. Especially one guy. Daniel T. Not very knowledgeable and full of attitude. Made my whole experience as unprofessional as possible. And I question his work ethic and mentality
Our entire experience with Arista was great! It was very easy to schedule our appointment for the next day and our technician was wonderful. He was prompt and fixed the problem, leaving no mess at all. He was very kind and polite.
These guys are awesome and know their stuff! They did a rennovation for us (we were serviced by a different compan prior) on time and on budget. It's working perfectly and has been now for weeks. These guys are legends and we look forward to our professional relationship moving forward with them!
Once they showed up, these guys were courteous and professional. It took a while to diagnose the problem; they had a spare part on their truck, so fixed it the same day. It seems they have a lot of business; you will need to be patient on busy days.
Shaun Wint was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, and informative. We could not be happier with his visit today.
My Organization has an annual contract with Arista and I must say how delighted I am with their service team. When service is needed, I always request Dominick I. He is very professional and takes pride in his work. His work never has to be questioned. Adding, he is personable and always have a smile. Overall he's just a great technician. I value him and hope Arista sees how valuable he is to their company. Best
Reached out for quote for annual service contracts for 9 retail outlets in Manhattan --the receptionist was very direct and treated me poorly upon my intro then transferred me to another member who sounded like a drill sargent ....You think I wanted to engage these people to service my business ...I think not! so sorry for attempting to offer you my business..
The two technicians that arrived at the New York Yacht Club were very professional and were both eager to address any issues that we have or have had with our refrigerators. The techs, were Dom I. and Kyle S.
Max Rodriguez and Christian came to service our A/C unit. They were very helpful and removed a winter weatherproofing obstruction that was interfering with air intake.
Arista has been nothing short of amazing. We had an issue with both of our rooftop HVAC units, and from first contact to final invoice, these people are the most professional, and knowledgeable I have ever met in the industry. They combine old school knowledge, with state of the art expertise. I highly recommend Arista for any and all your heating and cooling needs!
Great experience from placing the initial call to getting a timely easy to read invoice after the work was completed. They are by far the best HVAC company we have used.

We have relied on Arista for many years for our HVAC service needs. They have always provided us with responsive and exceptional service. Their staff is highly skilled and always a pleasure to have in our facility. We have worked with other HVAC service companies but Arista has proven to be the best by far.
