we chose these guys to replace our AC because we had felt they were honest letting us know we could probably wait to get the unit replaced for a bit. when they did replace our unit they failed to tell us they needed a grounded plug/extension cord for the pump and so just hooked it up improperly. as a result our whole basement flooded with about 2 inches of water before we realized it was leaking. someone came back and replaced the pump with a sort of "oops i would have done the same thing!" attitude that did not help the mildew/mold growing in the basement. as a bonus, both in installation and repair the workers left garbage all over the basement (coffee cups and holders, bottles, a bucket with dirty water in it). finally (and somehow the least of our problems) we asked them to let us know if they were opening our back gate so we would know not to allow our dogs outside and we could prevent them getting loose. they ended up opening the gate with no warning and we just feel lucky we happened to notice before the dogs got out the door.
After returning from warm Miami just a week ago, came home to find my heat wasn’t working. Atlas was recommended to us and they were at my house to check it out within an hour. I was given a 3 time window and they came immediately, especially after hearing we have a 4 year old. After finding out that we needed a whole new HVAC system on a Friday - they immediately scheduled the job to be done first thing in the morning Monday. They also came back with 5 space heaters for us to use to get us through the cold weekend. They also explained to us in great detail what the issues were. They called to let me know when they were on the way this morning and they had the job done by 3pm. Sean, the tech was just a pleasure to work with. He truly cared about the fact that we have a young kid and did everything he could to get our heat up and running efficiently. I highly recommend!
Bryan the manager came over to give an estimate on how much it would cost to replace my 22 year old furnace and central air unit. Bryan is very friendly and professional. The price was very reasonable and they offered great financing which the other Trane dealer in my area did not. The day of the job Bryan and his team arrived. They where very professional and put tarps down on my rug not to stain it. They where done in a day. I choose to use a Google Nest thermostat which I purchased from Best Buy and without even asking Bryan issued me a refund on the thermostat that was in the contact. A few days later I didn’t understand how the new thermostat worked, there is about a 3-4 minute delay for the heat to come on when the temperature in the room falls below the hold temperature. I called Bryan and he came right over and checked it and explained what was going on. I would highly recommend them. They did a great job 5 stars.
I have used Atlas air for the past 10 years or so, I recently had them come to service my A/C units they put in a hard start pack the technician (Sean) was at my house less then 45 min. He charged me $575 after he left I looked up the part the most expensive one I found was $59. I don’t mind paying for something but over $500 for 45 min work that’s just robbery, when I called to question the bill no one could tell me how much the parts. I asked to have a manager call me still no call. They have lost my respect and my business
I highly recommend Atlas Air Masters A/C&Heating Co. Everyone from the Secretary/Receiptionist, to Sean the Service Tech, as well as the removal techs to the installers of the new Trane heating and A/C units, it was a very pleasant experience. The owner, Kevin, also contacted me to make sure everything was completed to my satisfaction. The whole crew is extremley professional. I will recommend Atlas to all my friends and family.
Awful.. I will never do business with Metro Mattress in Rome again !
Unfortunately I will no longer be giving Atlas my business. This review does contradict the review given by my husband before this incident. I’ve used Atlas for more than 20 + years for heating, A/C, hot water heater, and all related and until now have been very satisfied. This season following a routine A/C check up, I noticed water dripping from my bedroom ceiling. I reported to Atlas and to their credit, the tech returned right away, removed some sopping insulation, then replaced a component related to the drain pan which directs condensation to the gutter. This apparently was defective causing the pan to overflow in the ceiling. He indicated he “should have caught that”. Tech cut a small hole in the Sheetrock to drain the water. Looked like that would be a sufficient remedy, unfortunately the ceiling had been saturated and is now visibly sagging. I later overheard my husband in “conversation “ with Kevin who was shouting on the phone, arguing that he disavowed any responsibility for damages, this problem could have occurred at anytime and was not related to their service call etc…..I asked him to stop by and inspect, he replied he was going on vacation for couple weeks and would call me when he returned. He has not called. I wrote a letter to the Atlas company inquiring about his insurance company for a potential claim. There has been no response. I am tremendously disappointed having done business with this company for many years, and have been accommodating his preferred payment method. Overall I feel that I received a very shabby and unprofessional response to what had been a valued business relationship. We are currently in process of the repair.
Really disappointed with the customer service. We called and scheduled an appointment for AC maintenance and were told that we needed to wait a month because they were extremely busy. As this company previously serviced the units for the old owners of our home, we decided to wait the month. In preparation for the appointment, we took time off work and on the morning of the appointment, I called at around 8am to see if I could get a more precise arrival time. I spoke to Ashley who told me that my appointment was confirmed for an 8am-12pm time slot and I should expect a technician during that window. No other information was available. A little past 10am, Ashley called again and said our appointment was being cancelled because we are considered a non-priority customer and they were slammed with emergencies. She offered to reschedule us again 2 weeks out but could not guarantee that we wouldn’t get stood up again. I questioned what changed in the last few hours from her confirmation to her cancellation and she offered no explanation. I then asked to speak to a manager and she said someone would call in a few hours. No one called. We left at least 4 voice messages with their answering service over the next two days- all of which were ignored. My mom called and left them a voice message and got a call back in minutes again from Ashley!!! When she asked Ashley why no one was calling us back and ignoring our request to address the last minute cancellation - Ashley hung up the phone!! Extremely unprofessional and rude. Do not recommend!!! They have zero respect for people’s time and their customer service is atrocious!
I have been using Atlas for over 10 years and by far are they not only knowledgeable but honest. One incident when we came home from vacation several years ago, the furnace stopped heating due to a water flow issue. I forgot the maintenance guys name but he checked every component of the furnace and determined the issue to be in the module box. Replaced and back to heating. Very trustworthy organization
We've called Atlas Air a few times (had our central air unit replaced) and very happy with their service and professionalism!
Atlas has been servicing our a/c system for years and we can’t say enough good things about them. From the time we call for an appointment and speak to lovely Joan and the other office personnel, we always know we’re in good hands. Kevin, Brett and the entire gang are wonderful professionals, very knowledgeable, quick to respond plus quick in completing the service calls. We highly recommend them!
Actually, don’t deserve any stars, poor customer service. Please stay away, all they want your money.
Great working with these guys- on small projects and large!
On the recommendation of a friend, I contacted Atlas and their work way exceeded my expectations. From the initial consultation to the final work, they were easy to work with, professional, always on time and stayed on budget. I could not be happier with the work they performed and I highly recommend Atlas.
This company is completely unprofessional. I had them install a new central a/c system a few years ago. I had trouble this summer and it took them over a month to figure out what was wrong. They had to replace the blower and i had to pay for Labor. Then after that my system would work for a few days then stop blowing cold air. They changed me almost 500 to replace the blower that was still under warranty. It was only 4 years old. It took 4 technicians to figure out that supposedly it was a wire that was no good. 2 of the techs looked like they had come to my house looked like shady individuals. People you really don’t want inside your home. When I expressed I wasn’t happy they wanted to charge me again. They told me to get another company. Terrible service. Stay away from this company!!!!
Picture this! My A/C goes down in mid Aug (90+ and humid every day). I call Atlas. They have a tech at my house the next morning (impossible in the summer of 2018), they explain options (in simple terms), and install the new units in ONE day. I'm cool again thanks to Atlas. Most important----I feel like I got a good deal! This level of service, professionalism, responsiveness is rare these days. I can't say enough about the ATLAS crew!!!!!! It's been 11 months with my new A/C---------it broke! I called the Atlas boys. They arrived that day, ordered the part, and installed the part the following day! No cost to me "customer"! Yes it broke BUT that's on the manufacturer NOT Atlas. They did everything possible to make it right. I'm still a fan, and about to refer them to my neighbor. Need I say more?
Atlas Air Masters' Trane heat pump system was the third leg of converting my ordinary development house into a zero energy home - together with my solar panels (SunBlue Energy) and foam spray insulation (Foamco), my 35-year-old center hall colonial now has no utility bill and is essentially off the grid with no carbon footprint. So let me tell you about Atlas Air Masters, as I have reviewed the other two great companies previously. Atlas Air Masters stands by its work like no other. Bryan and his team care more about their customers than any contractor I've ever worked with. I was very demanding about the climb up test on the Trane heat pump system they installed, and Bryan's team delivered results above industry standards, giving me a vacuum isolation that held below 500 microns for 15 minutes. He said "If it makes you happy, that's what we'll do." And that's exactly what they did, even though it took much more of their time. The work they did in my attic installing the new air handler and duct work was superb. I love these guys and would recommend them to anyone.
Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with , client beware
They did a lousy job. Justified their high price with saying the quality and after care they provide is worth it. I’ve had nothing but trouble with them.
Very helpful, professional and reliable. Goes above and beyond to get the job done. Satisfied with Bryan and the Atlas team.
