May 2023 Farmingville. The first thing you'll notice right away is the Google 4.9 rating with about 500 reviews. That's the highest I have seen with that many reviews. Some of the very few less than 5 star ratings make no sense. One reviewer wrote a perfect review but gave 3 stars. Another reviewer complained about the price. In that case I would say, they have no idea how much other service companies are charging. Or how badly they can rip you off. I was having trouble with my 24,000 BTU AC split unit heat pump. It was only 2 years old and I installed it myself. I called a repair company recommended by the manufacturer. I told them I suspect it has a leak. The service company wanted to charge me $900 to charge it. When he came to my home, one thing led to another and the final diagnosis was they would have to change 2 motherboards, AC lines, and, of course, recharge it. He couldn't give me a price because he didn't know how much the parts would be. If they were going to charge me $900 just to charge it, how much was it going to be to do all that… $2,000? It didn't take me long to realize I was getting ripped off. I ended up wasting $250 for a very expensive service call. I told a friend the trouble I was having trying to get my AC unit fixed. He recommended Soundview, because they did a great job installing 3 split units in his home two years ago. I called Soundview. Making the appointment was effortless. I was treated as a valued potential customer, with courtesy, concern, and a great deal of professionalism. When Rob, the Soundview tech guy, came to my house we discussed the problem. He hooked up his gauges and found the problem in 20 minutes. It did not need to be recharged. He found a totally unrelated problem. He remained for a total of 1 hour to make sure everything was working as it should. I'm guessing I saved about $1,700. There are two things Rob, the technician, had. KNOWLEDGE and HONESTY. We recently had Soundview install a ductless mini split in our home. They are a great company to work with. Rich provided us with a thorough estimate and answered all of our questions. Lenore was great getting everything set up for the install job, and the crew who did the installation was awesome. They kept everything clean and tidy as they worked. Definitely recommend working with Soundview
As the owner of a service related business for 50 years I always focused on "Under promise, over deliver." Every individual I have dealt with at Soundview follows this principle. When they say they will be here between 8:00 and 8:30 they are here promptly at 8:00. The technicians, Rob and Eric, are neatly dressed, polite and extremely knowledgeable. The receptionist, Brooke is spectacular. The phone is answered without having to push 10 buttons, she is extremely polite and makes you happy that you are dealing with her company. I had a secretary once who was so nice and friendly on the phone that customers would come and pay their bills in person just so they could talk with Heather. I received a bid to take care of an AC problem for $9700. The proposal I got from Soundview was $2500. When the job was done they charged me $2250 since it took less time than they had estimated. I have not met the owner in person, but got his name from a close friend who runs major charities. He told me Soundview was a great supporter of his groups as well as many other charities. I would give them 10 stars if that were possible
Been using sound view for years for installation and service . Excellent office help and technicians second to none . Just had split unit a/c in basement cleaned . Was absolutely filthy and now is spotless thanks to Kenny who did a thorough job cleaning unit . Kenny also did a tuneup on main a/c unit replacing filter and making sure it is spot on for summer . If you have split unit I would recommend soundview , they do an awesome job getting rid of mold and debris that can buildup in unit . Thanks again Kenny for a wonderful service
They were great from beginning to end. Very communicative and wonderful to deal with. AND I wasn't price shopping but their price was by far better than the two other companies I had previously contacted. A great experience.
We were very happy with the service we received from Soundview Haeting & Air Conditioning. We have used them before and would recommend them to anyone who needs these services.
Out of 5 companies, they were the only company that could diagnose and resolve my heating issue. They also worked on a Sunday giving very little last minute notice
I can't tell you how happy I am that I picked Soundview to put in my new air conditioning system. All your employees were polite, knowledgeable, and experienced. My attic is so neat that others have commented on it. Everything was left neat and clean inside and outside, and the AC unit I had installed is so quiet, I'm never quite sure if it's actually on. (which is so different than my old one!) Thanks Soundview!
I have a busted airhandler , which was part of a forced hot air system, in the attic. Fan worked, but would not turn boiler on. no one could diagnose the problem till Soundview came. Soundview was prompt, totally professional and fully knowledgable, and really tried hard to repair it. We finally decided that replacing a 40 year old Trane was smarter than trying to find parts
We’ve used Soundview for different reasons over the past 15 years and they’ve done a great job every time. This time our hot water heater bursted on a Monday morning in November. That same day our problem was diagnosed and a written proposal was sent to me. On Thursday we had a new hot water heater installed and working great. Field service, office team and management, everyone is helpful and concerned about getting your home running normally again. They have a great team of people working their.

I absolutely love this company. Everyone is so kind from making the appointment to the Technician that comes to your house. SUPER friendly, ON TIME, clean, considerate, and doesn't hesitate to explain what their doing and answers any question you may have along the way. Would recommend to anyone needing heating or cooling work. Shout out to Kenny such a nice guy

Recently had 2 heat pumps installed to go along with my new solar and Brian Daab of Soundview was fantastic. Everything we talked about during the initial proposal was done with exceptional workmanship and professionalism. The install was ON TIME! which is rare with companies these days. I was well informed throughout the procedure.... Actually I was away and came home to a beautiful & quiet HVAC system. If it weren't for the Ring cameras, I would have never known they were there. Everyone at Soundview were courteous and competent. They overly met my expectations.
