I recently had a hvac ductless split system installed by Will . He was very professional and worked quickly and neatly to add air conditioning throughout the house. He was very knowledgeable and provided prompt service.
Showed up early, took care of the problems quickly, authorized repair for Mitsubishi ductless system.
I worked with County Comfort to insulate our home( attic and basement). We started off with a few different proposals and worked together to find the right one and the right price. The team was very professional and flexible to our schedule so we could be out of the house while they worked. Jay, Simon, Craig, and team reached out during the entire process with updates and photos/videos. Hopefully we can work together soon on the next stage of energy efficiency with our home.
The company did a quality insulation job and completed it on schedule. I am very happy with the results and because of the NY incentives it was very economical.
I wouldn't even go in our basement before County Comfort came to do insulation and encapsulation. Jay was so patient in answering all of our questions and the construction team was incredible. The original timeline was 3 days, and the work was completed in 2! The team even made a temporary door of insulation to put behind my rusty storm cellar door. So happy with our clean, insulated basement and can't wait to pay a lot less in heating and actually store things in there! Thank you County Comfort!
We used County Comfort to replace the insulation in our attic and to seal the basement, crawlspace, and storage area. Jay was great when he came to give an estimate and explain the work they'd be doing. Simon and his crew were very professional and respectful of our house and did a great job. We are so glad we went with County Comfort to help us update our attic insulation and air seal our crawlspace! It was great having Jay coordinate with us - he was swiftly responsive and provided clarity whenever we had questions about the process of making our home more energy efficient. He even went above and beyond in helping us make the most of our energy rebates after their work was complete. The team - Fausto, Jonathan, William and Juan - were the nicest group of guys, and they left barely a trace whenever they finished work for the day. We noticed a difference in the air/temperature in our home almost immediately, and we look forward to saving on our future energy bills too - We would happily trust them with our home going forward!
My repairman, Julio, was very professional and helpful. He quickly fixed my hvac issue. I'm happy to have finally found County Comfort since it is very difficult to find a good hvac company in this area. Back at the office, Lenor was also a pleasure to deal with over the phone.
Our residential insulation was 35 years old and inefficient. after extensive research on the available insulation systems and installers, we chose County Comfort. They are the perfect partners for our needs. Dan, their sales representative, was very knowledgeable and explained all of the options and the steps that should be taken. He carefully surveyed our house, provided an understandable analysis and responded to all out questions. He then developed a clear comprehensive proposal. Dan made us feel very confident in going forward with County Comfort. On the first day of work, Dan introduced us to Fausto, the leader of the installation team and the other team members. Under Fausto's leadership, the team worked steadily, carefully cleaned the attic, removed all old insulation, then meticulously sealed the space to eliminate all unwanted air openings, they then carefully removed our whole house fan, closed the opening with new drywall, tape , compound and primer for a perfect seal. They added top plates with expanding foam insulation, blew in TruSoft cellulose for the attic floor to R-60 and installed a layer of 4" SilverGlo for the attic deck, they also provided an insulated walkway for access to all A/C equipment in the attic, created vertical insulation dams to hold the insulation in place, installed TiteShell fixture covers over all can lights together with foam seals, they then added a pull-down stair hatch cover with an additional 4" of SilverGlo insulation. In our basement, the team applied spray foam to all the rim joists to restore a comfortable climate by sealing and insulating what was a major source of air loss. All of the work was done neatly and the attic and basement were cleaned upon completion. Since our house was recently painted and carpeted, all interior surfaces were protected prior to any work by the team with clean drop cloths and plastic wall . sheeting. We had an HVAC system (Mitsubishi) installed by County Comfort Home Solutions. The whole team was very professional, honest, and trustworthy. The salesperson, Eric, spent a lot of time explaining the details along with his boss Mike Jensen., The technical team led by Alex, along with John and Tom, did a superb job. They worked hard for 10 days to install the whole system and took care of all our needs, and paid attention to all details, and they are a very friendly team. We had County Comfort Home Solutions re-insulate our attic. Before we had maybe an inch of old rotted something doing next to nothing to keep the house warm. I'm glad they cleane it all out. Simon and his crew was great, communicative, professional, thorough, and neat: I think our house is cleaner now than when they started! The attic looks great and is now packed with insulation. My ac/heating unit stop working right before summer and I called county comfort and they were here the next day. Great service the technician was very knowledgeable, honest and answered all my questions. Once we figured out my unit was old and needed to be replaced they were able to install a new unit within a few days.

They explained what they were doing as they moved along and were clean and efficient throughout the entire process. Their restoration work done to close out the job was above par. Cellulose Insulation Consultation and Installation. Initial Consultation in late February. Project completed within a few days by early March. We had a fairly drafty house and during the winter months, struggled to keep warm and comfortable. Our attic insulation used to be fiberglass. And while the insulation itself was still in decent condition, the details of sealing areas all throughout the house to avoid "leaks" where outside air can flow in and out easily were overlooked when building it decades ago. I learned that this is pretty standard in home building throughout the Northeast. With cold winters, we needed to stay warm but also be mindful of the heating bill which was incremental. Jay did the initial consultation and handles the sales. He was punctual, respectful and responsive throughout the process. Craig oversaw the installation overall and the owner, Mike came to do the front door blower test. Throughout the entire process, we felt taken care of and felt their excitement of the value that this will bring to our house...and especially, that we'd be warm during the colder months. Craig went the extra step to take a look at other areas of improvement as well that would go beyond the cellulose installation and fixed a few things. Craig is not a sales guy, and he built houses all throughout the NE. It was nice to get professional insight without any sales pitches from him. But the team we worked with the most was Simon's. Huge shout out to Simon and his team who handled the heavy lifting of the actual installation itself. Very communicative and professional via text messages (he asked if that was ok). He provided numerous updates and videos throughout the installation process. He and his team worked efficiently, quickly and thoroughly. Great energy and positivity from all his guys worked. I highly recommend this company for anyone trying to install an Ac/heating system. The staff were kind, caring, profesional and dependable. I’m not a tech guy myself by when ever I have a question about the new system installation they always pickup. I was lucky enough to work Matt Minett one of the Rep/Project Coordinators at the location. Please do yourselves a favor and when getting an Ac/heating system Call Matt he will helps you out!
I found this business because of a postcard we received in the mail and decided to use them to get a home energy audit and ultimately moved forward with them for attic and basement insulation and air sealing. Our sales rep Dan was excellent, very attentive, knowledgeable, and patient with us as we worked through a couple of options. His boss Craig was excellent as well, both guys making us feel like we mattered. And the workers that did the job were quick, efficient, kind, and clean, taking great care when they were in our house. Definitely happy we moved forward with them and will be using them for additional services going forward!
