Beau and Gunner arrived promptly, were very courteous, and thoughtfully wore shoe covers to protect our carpets. They diagnosed the problem without delay and left here with everything working as it should. I would definitely call them again and I can recommend them without reservations.
Great communication, Zach showed me what's wrong and quoted the job before starting it. Very courteous and wore shoe cover indoors. Details like this says a lot about the company. I wish I have discovered Halco earlier.
Our service technician just left the office. He was fantastic. Not only did he fix our problem, he gave great pointers about how we can avoid problems in the future.
National Grid has been doing work on my block, at a lackadaisical pace, with intermittent frequency, since April 3rd. Without notice some NG workers required and gained entry to my house. They discovered a problem with an exhaust duct, so they turned the gas off (very suddenly). I have tenants; the NG workers originally, and knowingly gained access to the house via a tenant without my knowledge, or consent. I was presented with a done deal; while there was a good safety reason to leave the gas shut off, due to the fact that I have tenants, thus must provide heat and hot water, among other things. So, this became an example of a Catch-22 because of an action taken by my tenant, suddenly the gas was turned off, but due to contractual obligations, I needed quick HVAC service, which I received. The service was also courteous, prompt, and thorough. I would recommend HALCO for these reasons.
We were having an issue with our AC cooling the house. Within an hour of calling them, a tech was out to our house and the problem was diagnosed.
Water heater stopped heating. Ryan was out shortly after the initial call and I was back in business in no time.

Upon applying for NYSERDA energy resources through Empower NY, I was referred to HALCO for a whole home energy audit. Every HALCO representative that I have spoken with has been extremely helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. HALCO thus far has provided exceptionally professional and prompt services! I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking alternative energy resources and or insulation installation. 6/2/2023 Update: Since the insulation installation has been completed there's been a noticeable difference in the temperature & quality of comfort of my home! Avery Fenton was exceptional to work with, professional and knowledgeable. Avery was able to answer all of my questions and quickly addressed my concerns. Overall I am very pleased with the outcome of the project and the staff at HALCO Energy.

The Halco team did a complete re-do of he insulation in our old house. It was complex and well handled. Now only the coming winter will tell........The team was excellent. We're looking forwad to the next step which, I believe, is swapping out our oil burner for a heat pump. We are on our way to being carbon free!
Had an issue with a thermostat that had recently put in, had the issue fixed in record time. Very quick, efficient and friendly!!!
