We had a hybrid setup installed, heat pump with gas furnace. These guys were top notch! Neal came out for the estimate, was very professional and gave an estimate that beat others by a _lot_. The installers were professional, had the install done in about 8 hours, and left the workplace spotless.
Really good people . Very quick response I had a gas leak that National Grid said was coming from my furnace and they checked and let me know there was no problem with it and didn't charge me as there was no problem. Definitely coming back to them for anything else I need

Duane showed up About an hour early !! Which was awesome . Within a few minutes he diagnosed the problem . He showed me how to Maintain the central air unit so it should not happen again. Very reasonable and upfront pricing . I will definitely use Prime heating again if needed and highly recommended them.
I can’t say enough good things about this business! Duane beat competitors’ pricing and did all the things you’d want an installer to do-communicated well, showed up on time, worked incredibly hard the whole time he was here, cleaned up afterward and took the time to explain how to use the units. After the boiler was installed he came back to make an adjustment and everything he installed works great. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him!!
Great professional service. After 6 days no heat dealing with Charles heating what a great experience. Diagnosed problem next day had the parts and we have heat! Will only use Prime Heating from now on.

I'm very happy to report a good job. The owner responded quickly with fair price and a schedule.The crew was professional. After installing the new coil and conditioner, my condensate pump went bad. They came right back and took care of it. I would recommend them.
Bought the house last year. AC worked in Aug. This summer the AC won't cool any of my rooms, 1st floor and 2nd. Called as a friend said they were great. Came out. Hour late. Ended up telling me that the AC was undersized by 0.5 tons. Charged the maintenance call fee and the the hourly rate and just left it at that. My house still does not cool, problem was not fixed. I understand that an undersized unit can effect cooling, but this doesn't even cool at all and given that the air is barley coming out of the vents when it is on I figured it would be a problem with the furnace fan. If it was just the 0.5 ton AC difference I would expect some cooling in the house just not great. Anyway. Paid for essentially nothing. Waited an hour. Only suggestions are to either run my fan all the time non stop or to get a whole new system. Very much not satisfied and feel quite ripped off honestly. Shouldn't have paid as nothing was done and I still have the same issue. Would avoid

My 30-35 year old central AC quit working on the first hot day of the year. I called at 4:30 to set up an appointment and they were here first thing the next morning. Looked at the unit to tell me that there was no repairing. Neal was here later that afternoon to give me a quote. Scheduled an appointment to install the new AC and furnace about 2 weeks out and called later that week to bump up the installation date by a week. In comparison to another company I had called first, they weren't able to schedule an appointment until 2 weeks after the installation was complete. Very professional, explained everything and cleaned everything up. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Our 25 year old central AC was on its last legs. I called over 7 companies and none returned my call. I understand that this is a very busy time of the year and the heat wave we have. But lousy customer service for not contacting me. The last one I called was Prim Heating and AC in Syracuse, NY. One of the owners, Duane, came to our house and inspected the unit, the air handler and the duct-work. He pointed out some of the failings of the installation. Then, he closed off a large open duct and actually put my box fan on top of the compressor facing upwards to assist the compressor fan to remove the heat. The AC fan turned faster and the heat escaping was huge. Our house cooled down just with those two things he did. He wrote up the estimate, the mileage charge (45 each way) and gave us a date for the new install. Very pleased. They showed up exactly on time , Duane leading his crew of three. They were friendly, courteous and worked continuously all day with the removal of the old AC and the new units installation. Clean up was complete, Duane insured his guys removed everything. He even went around in the basement with a dustpan and brush to pick up some metal shavings. The new unit works great. And I forgot to mention that he added new duct-work per my wife's request and also re-worked some in other rooms. We are totally satisfied with Prime Heating. From the time Neal came to give an estimate, it was evident that this was a professional, efficient company. They quoted me a reasonable price, I checked, and performed the work on time and efficiently. They performed a perfect job. Don’t hesitate to hire them. They know what they’re doing.
