The tech that came in was knowledge and kind; but the estimate I was given to replace my unit was completely OUTRAGEOUS. They gave an estimate of 13 thousand. What turned me off from using them was when they said "'if you sign this now, we can do it tomorrow but if not, we're all booked out for 3 weeks". I had another person come for an estimate the next day. It was 4,500. An almost 10 thousand dollar difference. Pretty disgusted that they felt they could try to charge me for that amount.
Great experience and I highly recommend. Call staff was courteous, informative and very responsive. We’re able to schedule something next morning at normal rates. Nick came out the next morning. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and explained every step in the diagnostic process. Nick then explained multiple options, what each option would entail and the cost. A wonderful individual that made this process easy and put my mind at ease. Thank you Nick!!!
Completely obvious why they have 850+ 5-star reviews. These guys have customer service figured out. Had a hiccup with scheduling on one of the hotter days of summer as a new customer and the dispatcher gave me a list of options and replied to my call almost immediately. I couldn’t be happier with the visit from the tech, the scheduler who called me, or the value for their membership when explained to me what’s included.
Tyler (aka T-Bone!) was amazing, kind, very informative, and it was a pleasure to have him here to do the maintenance on my central a/c. He showed me everything that he did to my a/c to clean out the system with photos he took each step of the way. I recommend Grasshopper to everyone I know who asks because they are thorough with the work they do and are very knowledgeable, respectful & never pushy. Thanks so much Tyler & Grasshopper!
The entire Grasshopper team (starting with the leadership of their CEO, Amanda) represents how to operate a business with a great company culture of respect for its staff and customers, pride in service and products and how work is completed, and creating customer relationships. This positivity starts from the moment you call to discuss your needs and schedule a consultation (thank you, Jeff and Christina). They send emails with photos to introduce consultants and technicians who will come to your home. We needed a new water heater and appreciate the time and attention Connor and Chris gave to talking with us about our options and also presenting the Halo Water Systems options. We were not intending to replace our old Culligan system, but after talking about it further with Anthony, our technician, and looking at the inner workings of everything as it was dismantled to install our water heater, we decided on the Halo H2Zero. Instant, huge difference with super high quality, healthy water throughout our home; great tasting water you can drink from your own faucet (what a concept!), and great for your skin and hair! Anthony has a wealth of knowledge about water and HVAC systems and together with his assistant Nick put in a long day and did an excellent job start to finish! We have Grasshopper's Quality Assurance Representative coming tomorrow (one week later) to review. We'll look forward to seeing them and letting them know how thrilled we are with everything! We'll definitely work with Grasshopper again on future home improvements!
Tyler was on time and walked me through every step of the process and diagnosis. We discussed options in details and he shared the offerings of grasshopper. I’m very satisfied with the experience with Tyler and the company.
Installed a premium product. Resolved an ordering error that I made on site and recommended a replacement product that would help extend the life of my home’s water system.
Grasshopper has amazing customer service and excellent technicians. Christian (and every other technician I’ve met) are professional and courteous, always taking the time to ensure that all questions are answered and the customer has a full understanding of every aspect of the service that was provided.
Very happy with the last 2 years worth of routine maintenance that I have received. Christian came out yesterday for the yearly AC check up and took the time to show me what he was doing, some before and after photos, and walked me through some common problems they see with AC units. I don't have any doubt that Grasshopper will be able to solve any major service issues and recommend them entirely.
Christian called prior to his arrival and i received and email and text with a picture and short bio. He arrived when he said he would with a front door floor mat, a smile, an introduction, and a handshake. We started the process not with the AC issue at hand but about our dogs as we both have yellow labs and pics were shared. From that point on I knew this was going to be a good experience. His knowledge and professionalism was reassuring and he explained everything he was doing and outcomes of the repairs along with recommendations going forward. I chose Grasshopper based on a chance meeting with a sales manager at a local food establishment along with their unique commercial ads. I definitely made the right choice and now a service contract holder and a new coffee to try.

Christian came out for yearly service on my furnace and was spectacular. Super informative and taught me a ton about my system that I never knew. He caught and was able to fix a couple items that may have become bigger issues down the road and gave me a couple suggestions moving forward to prevent future problems. Overall awesome experience. Edit: 6/27/2023 Just wanted to give a shoutout to Matt Carr. Came out for a yearly AC service. Was super informative and did top notch work. Showed me all the relevant parts of my AC, gave me some tips to keep the condenser clean. Crazy positive and excellent sense of humor. Thank you!

AC went out on a Saturday as we were preparing for a Graduation party on Sunday. I called Grasshopper heating and cooling at 1:00 on a Saturday and they came same day and fixed the issue. The tech was very responsive and professional. I look forward to working with this company in the future.
We signed up for the Annual Maintenance contract with Grasshopper Heating and Cooling during the Home Show. Matt came last fall and did the furnace and Tyler "T-bone" took care of the AC yesterday I am impressed with thier knowledge and professional work but enjoy the personal interaction. Techs are quick to chat and make recommendations without a pressure sale. T-bone removed the sweater of Cottonwood built up on our AC unit and gave me pointers for future DIY maintenance. Solid company doing great work.
This is a great company! Christian showed up in the promised window. He was professional, polite, knowledgeable, and respectful. I was able to get my broken unit back in working condition the same day! I highly recommend them :)
Service tech Christian came out to my home to fix a central air unit. He was actually on time. Very thorough inspection to make sure everything was working properly, not just the one issue I was having. Fantastic company and very reasonably priced. I will no doubt use Grasshopper for any heating/cooling issues in the future.
When our central air started acting up we called Grasshopper to see if they could come take a look. Tech Christian came and thoroughly and professionally explained his findings. We knew it was an older model and we had to replace it. Christian also took a look over the furnace, and there were grave issues to the point it would likely break down this coming winter. Christian was never pushy to try and make a sale. He showed us the physical issues proving this was necessary for us to get it all done.Christian was wonderful, stayed right through helping with the financing process which didn’t take long, and 2 days later, tech John C. and company showed up promptly as promised and did an excellent job completing it in one day! He and his techs were very pleasant, professional, and efficient. The a/c was set up looking aesthetically pleasing as shown in the photos. I can’t thank these fine young men for taking good care of our install from beginning to the end! I wholeheartedly highly recommend the Grasshopper company for your HVAC needs!
T-Bone serviced my house this morning and couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming. His demeanor was top notch and his professionalism truly encompasses what I expect from Grasshopper HVAC. He was very thorough with his explanations and made it very easy for me to understand what services I may want to think about in the future.
