I would love to commend Jake and his team on the excellent service I received. This was a divine appointment for sure! Let me explain... My mom's water heater went out. I stopped at Lowe's to get a new water and to set up an install. Jake and Jordan were in the isle as I approached the Lowe's team member and they overheard me asking about a 50 gallon water heater and requesting an install. Jake approached me and said that he could do the whole job for $2500 and they could do the job that very day. After a quick thought, I agreed and he gave me his contact info. Requested that I take a couple of pictures of the water heater since it was located in the closet, send it to him with my contact info. I said I would and did just that. ( By accident, I sent the pics to the office number instead of Jake's direct line) Jake contacted me within a couple of hours, following up with me directly. He rearranged some things for that day and fit my mom's water heater replacement in that very afternoon just as he said he would! Michael and Jordan were the technicians that did the job, and they went over and above for my mom. They were professional and respectful and very sweet with my mom. There appeared to be leak on property line in Paradise Hills. They came and checked meter to see if it showed leaking. Luckily no leaking on my side. They told me there would be no charge since they were in the area anyway. Very professional!
Great service
They have been amazing every time I've had to use them. If a message is left, they call back usually within the same day and they are super quick and flexible with scheduling. They are very helpful and great at explaining everything so there's no surprises. I won't be using anyone else for all of my heating, cooling, and plumbing needs! Thank you guys so much for everything!
My water heater was flushed. Kenneth was on time, professional, and did a great job. I was very happy and impressed with his work.

My first time using Ortega's they were recommended by my next door neighbor. We had an emergency as the faucet for one of our showers would not turn off on a Sunday night. In the process of turning off the water at the meter my neighbor was leaving and told me about ortega's. I texted them that night and they actually answered the text and had somebody out here the next morning early. The young man was professional and friendly the repair was all taken care of and we were back in business. Great all around experience.

Very satisfied with Ortega Mechanical because of their professional performance. I had two commodes replaced and they completed the task in a timely manner. I was impressed with the courtesy they showed and how clean they were. I highly recommend this company for any of your needs.

Install an air-gap to our dishwasher, and did so on short notice. Great response.
Outstanding company. Needed a heater replaced in Jemez and the ducting repaired. We also needed another company to clean and sterilize the ducts. It's almost impossible to get someone willing to make the drive. Karen went above and beyond to get everything we needed, taken care of. I highly recommend Ortega. It's refreshing to receive such great care and professionalism from a mechanical company.
Furnace replacement
I called to Have a gas line Repaired and also replace a wall furnace. The crew was knowledgeable, on time, clean, polite and professional. I will use Ortega Plumbing and Heating again! Thanks guys!!!!
Replaced dryer vent. Did an excellent job. Very courteous and wore a mask entire time. Cleaned up very well when finished.
Responsive, efficient resolution
If I could leave 6 stars, I would ... Jake and his team are amazing. They were first recommended to work on my well connection to the house - they fixed it as quoted - and then they worked on our radiant floor heating system, flushed the system, and did trouble-shooting on a bathroom floor that was not heating - they fixed it - and then our kitchen sink went on the fritz and they rebuilt it. We love these guys.
Jake Ortega, the owner, was so responsive and friendly! A true professional 😃 He got back to me immediately and fit me in when they had a cancellation, which was so awesome considering how booked up everyone is! Anthony, his tech, came over and fixed my leak problem super fast and was fantastic! If you are looking for a High quality plumbing service With excellent customer service, look No further! Above and beyond. We used the Ortega team for a new swamp cooler. The consult was very informative. They were clear and professional about what could be done on our house and gave some suggestions for future improvements. The installation was seamless. We had a question about a strange smell after install and the owner came over to reassure us that it was just the new pads. The day of the swamp cooler install our oven and microwave electricity went out and while it was just a coincidence, the owner took an hour out of his day to troubleshoot. These guys are unbelievable. It’s refreshing to have quality service, kind hearts and a reliable plumbing team. I recommend their service whole heartedly.
I had what I thought to be a minor water leak and Jake, the owner, and Kenny came out on a Saturday and did a visual inspections. Once I had the water leak located outside my house they came and fixed it within 2 days. Well, that wasn't the end of my nightmare. 3 more leaks were eventually found underneath my tile and cement in my kitchen. Jake and his crew moved things around on their busy schedules and always fit me in, sometimes at the risk of delaying a commercial job that would bring them more money. Jake, as well as everyone on his staff always returned my calls, always showed when they said they would and most importantly were honest, hard working and really know what they are doing. If you need any kind of plumbing work, water heater, or HVAC work done and you don't contact these guys first then you are doing yourself a huge disservice. David Miller Albuquerque
