JC&E is not customer focused, does not take pride in their work, and simply took our money while leaving us with equipment that does not work properly. We had JC&E install a condenser and 3 mini splits in our home. About 1 week after they installed it, the mini splits stopped blowing cool air. They were not responsive in our calls to come fix it, but eventually they came and added more freon but didn't think to check for a freon leak. They also decided that it was a good idea to have the drip lines from 2 of the mini splits just hang over our neighbors roof instead of re-routing them down the side of our unit. Our neighbor complained to our HOA about this, and we asked JC&E to come out and fix it. They asked if they could come back in the spring since the weather was cooling down and we wouldn't need to use the mini splits for cooling. A weird request, but we said that we would wait. When spring came we tried to contact them to come fix the drip lines and the fact that the units weren't blowing cool air again. They never responded to us. Eventually we just had to hire another company to come fix all of JC&E's mistakes and lazy work. JC&E left us with freon leaks, the wrong sized condenser, and improperly routed drip lines that all had to be fixed by someone else because JC&E refused to do the job right and provide basic customer service.
Reading these reviews is like reading about 2 different companies. I am not a family member of Julian or any of his crew. All I can say is that he and they have always been on time, been professional and pleasant and have done the job quickly and well. We converted from evaporative to refrigerated air and added a mini-split in one room that couldn’t be ducted. The proof is in the results. I will hire Julian and JC&E whenever I have a job in their wheelhouse.
Julian and his team are amazing!!! I got hvac through this company and they have been incredible! Julian is fast responding and helps me with any questions I have. This company is great and very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend!!!!
My mini-split was installed in violation of clearly stated specifications outlined in the Owner's Manual. The danger posed to my residence proved to be of little concern for the Owner Although he acknowledged that the wiring was not according to code, and that important components were not installed including the separate shut off function. The unit repeatedly shut off during use, and finally blew out the outlet and the plug on the unit. Rather than provide a new unit to replace the one that was compromised by the over-amping of the unit, Julian (the owner) refuses to respond at this time. I have further complaints registered with his insurance, the state of New Mexico Attorney General and other entities that may or may not respond. Next stop--small claims court as this cost nearly $4,000.00. Be forewarned, this company is not reputable.
We had three mini splits installed. Within two weeks, the mini split was frozen over, blowing warm air. Owner JC Curley blames us for overuse and the system was not meant to be used all the time. After months of going back and forth the problem was never resolved. The company thrives on quick installs and poor workmanship. Building permits never pulled, zero followup and no maintenance.
Great company. Knowledgeable, affordable and great customer service. This company will be my “go to” for all my HVAC needs.

Terrible company, lies, does not get permits, does not follow code, and will not follow up on shoddy work, in short beware, the guy is a Bible thumping crook. Law suit in progress. Anyone with a good review MUST be related, beware
If I could give one star, I absolutely would! Julian Curley was extremely unprofessional and rude. He also lied to us about the warranty information for our AC unit. It was installed prior to us owning the home and when we bought the home we were told it was still under warranty. When Julian came out to look at it at the beginning of the season, we were told (in the rudest manner possible) that certain things wouldn't be covered by the warranty anymore as it applied to the previous owner and was not transferable BUT that the manufacturers warranty would still cover anything that should happen to the unit itself. Now, a couple months later, the unit is leaking freon (and has been for quite some time) and needs a new coil. We're now being told that NOTHING is covered under the warranty. I will be keeping his card only as a reminder to never do business with these people again.
Seems to be a family business when I called to get a "I was basically hung up on told we'll get back to you I have your number I went with someone else that was a little bit more professional.
JC&E were very professional and addressed the problem with my AC unit immediately! Not only did JC&E provide professional and quality work, they took time to educate me about the problem and how to prevent this from happening in future. I’m grateful and appreciative of the professional service without paying outrageous prices from some of the other local competitors. JC&E is my go to company fo my AC service and repairs hands down. Thank you JC&E!

This guy Jillian lied to us about the air conditioning he says he would give us a wonderful product and he says he would give us a native discount we tried calling him and he did not answer then we call again and he yell to us told my husband to be a man this Julian is unprofessional do not trust him we learned the hard way he is liar and this product he gave us does not work 😠
JC&E were prompt, courteous and accurate for upgrading the entire HVAC system in my auntie's home. Would definitely recommend this company.

Done a couple of jobs for me now. First fixed an inoperative valve and a leaking sink gasket. Then did a thorough inspection of HVAC system and fixed a supply line leak for a tankless water heater. They’re pretty responsive and fast and priced reasonably. I’d use them again.
I am thrilled with my new mini-split system installed by JC&E LLC! I have nothing but high praise for the work ethic, honesty, transparent pricing, and satisfaction with their service. I did extensive research before choosing this type of HVAC for my home. I had several estimates to decide my best course of action, and JC&E won hands down. I was told by other companies that there was no way to add mini-splits to an Adobe house. I was told the project was logistically impossible by everyone except Julian at JC&E. Julian and Elias offered the best plan, with reasonable pricing, and was transparent every step of the way. The project estimate was clear and concise, with equipment choices thoroughly explained. The two days of the installation went as planned, including the crane arrival and removal of the old system from my roof. The crew, the planning, the new equipment, and the follow-up service to inspect the final project was outstanding. Choosing to spend a chunk of money on new heating and cooling is daunting, but I felt I was in good hands, and I love my HVAC! If I could give more than five stars, I would!
