I have used John Manlove and JAT MECHANICAL and their professional services for over the past 10 years in my personal home, my church and rental property. I have found that John Manlove and JAT MECHANICAL to be highly knowledgeable in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, gas, boilers, and controls. (John brought our church boiler up to code and continues to maintain it.) John was immediately available to me in the middle of the night when our water pipes froze and flooded our home. I appreciate his reliability in emergency situations. My wife and I have always found that John Manlove and JAT MECHANICAL operate with integrity, honesty, and fairness in pricing. Very responsive and available to help with an issue we were having with our heater not working. However the problem ended up being a city gas meter issue. Nothing was wrong with our heater. He charged $300 to diagnose a failing city gas meter.
We have used JAT for many years on our commercial buildings. John has been very responsive and has always made things right for our tenants. I would recommend JAT for anyone looking for a competent reliable HVAC guy.
Did some work on my boiler. When the boiler was a listed issue on our full home inspection, initially refused to come out and fix it, saying that those were not the issues he had been hired to address. Finally came out to our house after much cajoling. Agreed to write up a summary of all his work and how he addressed the issues on the inspection. Three weeks later refuses to submit that summary, and won't answer my calls. This guy is a crook! Do not use!
Claimed to do work that was not done and then refused to complete. Took the money and ran! I would not recommend the Manlove's to anyone!
