These guys are the guys to call for any of your plumbing, evaporative cooler, HVAC needs. Very professional & knowledgeable. The guy Wade is a superstar when it comes to troubleshooting wutever issue you may be having. And the woman that answered the phone aswell very knowledgable, friendly, curious & professional. Ive dealt with them twice & super satisfied both times. Check em out, you won't be disappointed
The positive reviews on here are friends and family. Just call to schedule and you can tell just by the way the girl answers the phone. I called to schedule and was told she busy and in the field when hours went by I called again and was told they could schedule with a window. They not professional and they are rude I will spend my money elsewhere
I called Four Star last week and asked if I could get an estimate on how much it would be to replace a flex duct heater crossover under a mobile home. The home is a 30 minute drive west of Albuquerque, so I was told they would charge me $100 for the estimate because of the drive. I agreed on the price and made an appointment for today 1/9/23. Today the technician called me and said he was getting ready to head out to do the estimate. He said the clock starts now. When I told him that there was a flat $100 charge for the estimate he told me to call the office. When I called the office, they informed me that the price is now $200. $100 for the drive and an extra $100 for an hour of labor to do the estimate, which would only require a tape measure and 5 to 10 minutes. When i questioned the additional charge, Evelyn responded by telling me that I obviously do not understand the service industry. At that point I politely canceled. Such a waste of time.
This company was contracted through a warranty service. There was three separate interactions, and all three of them resulted in a waste of time. For example, the first time they were supposed to come out in the a.m., however, they showed up at 3:30 in the afternoon. The next time they were supposed to come out, they ended up calling me at the very last minute of the window to tell me they didn’t have the right parts. This last time they were supposed to show up in the a.m., but they showed up in the p.m. again, and to make matters worse when I open up my garage to coordinate their repairs when I went into the garage, I caught them working without them telling me. they claim they tried to call me to tell me they were running late and they also claimed they knocked on the door however, both don’t match up with my experience. Long story short they did a good job but they’re terrible at communicating.

I highly recommend 4 Star Mechanical. They fixed my AC and absolutely did an outstanding job. My home warranty company dragged their feet but 4 Star Mechanical stayed on them to get the paperwork through and get my AC fixed. They are friendly, professional and proficient. I appreciate all they did. Great job.
I’d love to leave a review of their work, but they never showed up and didn’t even bother to call to let me know that they couldn’t make it. Very disappointing.

My mother is in her upper 60’s and it is becoming increasingly more difficult to find companies that will not try to rob her blind for house work etc.. The technicians were very courteous and professional and were able to snake most of the clogs we had during the “first round” of service. There was a toilet upstairs that was not resolving unfortunately. The scheduler / person on the phone (I believe whose name was Evelyn) was rude and not transparent with what she deemed as “separate” vs “same” jobs. We were charged twice for something that should have been added to the first service. Very unclear, unprofessional and rude to deal with. Next time we will take our business elsewhere.
We had a plumber come out and they attempted to fix the valve in our shower but when their effort failed they said we would have to tear out a wall then they literally ran out the the door. Then we called Four Star Mechanical who came back several times, refusing to give up on fixing the plumbing valve. They saved our closing on the house as well as saving us a great deal of money. If you want a plumbing company with integrity and terrific work ethics, call FOUR STAR MECHANICAL.

The professional employees at Four Star Mechanical installed a brand new furnace for us this month. They worked quickly on a cold evening to be sure we weren't without heat overnight and explained how to use and monitor the system. They took the time to clean up the area and made sure the furnace was in good working order before they left. We will certainly recommend them to friends and family.
