So far my experience with Duke City communication has been borderline. Right after installation AC was not cooling the house evenly; unfortunately Duke City left without checking its operation... Still trying to solve this headache. After almost a month of emails they said its the first time they are hearing about this problem. There was another issue initially with condenser hoses/wires not being sealed properly on the roof. I'm glad they were able to fix this one! I'll update my review depending which way this goes. Update: Property management have not heard anything from Duke city - no communication, no emails... I have received complaints from tenants that AC is still not working properly.
Duke City Heating & Cooling did a fantastic job in relocating some Cat5e cabling to a dedicated junction box. Cabling was moved, box was installed and a dedicated 100v circuit was run to the junction box as well. The service techs were on time and super helpful in walking me through the process. They were extremely knowledgeable and did a great job. I would highly recommend Duke City for anything electrical or HVAC related. Thank you Duke City!
These guys are awesome! Upgraded and installed my new water heater, and their techs were also able to fix my toilet and my sink! Very fast, very professional, and a job well-done. 100% recommend!
$1113.63 This is what we paid today to replace a deficient motor in a furnace installed one year and four months ago by Duke City. I was told the motor only had a one-year warrantee, if true then all these costs are accurate. They may be accurate, but are they right? While your technician, was professional, on time and efficient. I will be very leery recommending Day & Night (Duke City) because at some level I feel “taken.” I wish your new combined companies (Duke City and Day & Night) well but, in the future, I cannot see you as my first choice for Pluming or Heating needs. It just does feel right.

They had to come in after we fired our mechanical contractor. So glad they were willing to take the job over. They keep their schedule and communicate well. They get on the job with a good crew and they work well together. Quality of work and the equipment they provided was great. You will pay more for the quality of the work but we found it to be value added in the end

Paul and his group were great! They connected my home to the city sewer line and I was very happy with the job! They were dependable and a great group to work with.
I first hired them for electrical work in my garage my gfi caught on fire and they were great than when I decided to get ac done I used them i had already purchased a smart thermostat and they were able to teach me all the features gave me advise on marking door with date of last filter cleanup and change have had no issues would strongly recommend them.

I recently purchased a new home and had Duke City redo all of my utilities as well as install a new AC. This included a panel upgrade, new water line, new sewer line and a new gas line. They have been top notch through the entire process. They are responsive and the crews that they have sent out have paid attention to detail and cleaned up after themselves. I could not recommend this company more. We also used them for my mom's conversion to AC from a swamp cooler a few years ago and they were great then too.
These guys did an amazing job installing my refrigerated air and heater! They were quick, organized and had great attention to detail. They took the time to answer all of my questions and did and excellent job cleaning up afterwards. My garage is cleaner now than it was before they came. All in all I can't recommend them enough. Outstanding service & their prices were really reasonable too!
I have never ever written a bad review, unfortunately, my experience with this company means I have write one. TLDR; they don't stand behind their work and will not apologise for poor service or poor workmanship. We hired them to install updated thermostats in our home for our furnaces and simultaneously to give us an estimate for installing central air in our home. The service for these two requests was amazing. Because of this, when I wanted a miniwasher installed, I asked them if this was a service they could provide. They gladly accepted the job and quoted me in the $1-200 range. When the workman arrived they offered a different quote of $500. I asked them why so much more than what was quoted over the phone and what they could do to lessen the cost. They offered a second option that meant changing the location of the miniwasher in our small laudryroom. I agreed to this altered plan with the understanding that it was not cost quite so much. After completing the work - which also took them much longer than initially stated because they forgot parts - they handed me invoice for almost $700. I paid the bill reluctantly, but the work was done. By the third wash the connection they had installed was leaking and causing flooding in our home. We tried numerous times for them to come make right what they broke. They either didn't call us back or they tried to send the same workman who botched the install. On top of all that, their excuses abound including that these workman dont get along and they offer no apologies. Needless to say, we went with MGP, another locally owned company, to install our central air, and we are very happy that we took our business elsewhere!
These guy are AMAZING. They won the bid, showed up daily on time. They were polite, informative, and good about vacuuming dust from creating vents. Robert ran the crew and he was a perfectionist, which was great! I was surprised that they finished 2 days early and now my house is so comfortable! All around excellent job and very professional.
Can’t recommend these folks enough! We decided to convert to AC and we needed a new furnace as well. We got estimates from lots of different companies. These guys were the only ones that didn’t play a sales game with us. We ended up paying a very reasonable price. They were patient with all our questions, and they went above and beyond when they came to do the installation this week. They asked if I wanted to move clean clothes that I forgot about so they wouldn’t get dirty during the install, they cleaned up after themselves, and they even went to get matching paint for our house when one of the guys accidentally got some primer on the outside of our house. It was a two day job, and they also made sure we would have heat for the night in between the two days when it was supposed to be chilly at night. Everyone was very respectful, courteous and professional. With such a large and daunting purchase, it’s fantastic feeling like we made the right choice with who we decided to go with. Thank you!
