They sent a repairman to fix our AC that was blowing hot air. After 4 hours of trying to read the owners manual, he told me he did not know how to fix it. He was not a licensed HVAC technician. They never fixed anything.
Just pick another HVAC company. There are so many other companies in ABQ, and I'm telling you based on my own experience that you should avoid this company for the sake of your sanity, mental health, and wallet.
BEWARE!!!! This is not a good business. I had them service my air conditioner and serious mistakes were made causing permanent problems. The owner claims to be a Christian but does not hesitate to cheat and lie. There is no reason to take a chance. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS.
The technicians fixing the furnace issues, and they knew instantly from the symptoms the problem that was created when another company installed the furnace, out of the 2 furnaces I have. They were efficient and showed me before and after the work what they had done. The Technicians had cleaned any mess they had made, not leaving it to me to clean after them.
ANCAE is awesome. I had a problem with my condensate line. They came out the same day and made the necessary modification. No charge! I highly recommend them!
Purchased this unit from ANCAE. PVC and copper tubing always leaked. Inexperienced installers. Made a service call on Friday. Charged me $135 for caulking. Basically put a bandaid on the problem. Owner of the business refused to fix the problem correctly and told me to take my business somewhere else. Wow!
I was visiting my mom in Albuquerque for thanksgiving and her heater went out. We were calling around to get a company out to look at the heater the same day and no one could make it. ANCAE was recommended by a friend and they were able to make it the same day. They were very knowledgeable and we we’re happy it was a simple fix with a broken belt. The technician Joseph was friendly and informative through the whole process. I’m very happy we were able to find this heating company.

Joey came out to do the shut down on our swamp cooler and get our heater going. He was a couple minutes early for our appointment. After all the other service appointments that come whenever they feel like it in a 4 hour window, what a welcome surprise that was. Then he was totally professional. He got the whole thing done in an hour including rinsing out the filter for our heater. He even showed me each step so if I wanted to, I could do it myself next time. I will definitely be calling them again in the spring when its time to turn the AC back on and shut down the heater. Thanks so much ANCAE. You are the best!!

My water pipes froze and broke over Christmas and again during February snow storm. Both times the owner was responsive and kind. His crew came out quickly and we're friendly and professional. They completed the work quickly 😊 and the cost was very reasonable. Will use again but hopefully won't need too! Thank you to ANCAE.
I am very dissappointed with the service we have received from Ancae Heating & Cooling. Our refridgereated air conditioner was installed by Ancae 3 years ago, it recently stopped cooling the house. We called for a tech to come and look at it. John came to repair it, stated it was low on freon and filled it with freon. The air conditioner stopped working 5 days later, it started not to cool the house down again. We called and Ancae sent the same tech, John. Immidietely upon opening the door he came in with an attitude and dimeanored tone towards my mom at the house. My mom stated to him that the air conditioner does not cool when it begins to get hotter outside during the day. She asked if the freon could be leaking and John stated in a rude tone "I don't know until I get up there, I filled it with freon before." After an hour of labor, John came in and stated that the air conditoner is cooling fine now and that the reason it doesn't cool the house is because the front window is open and letting the sun in. My mom stated to him that she had just opened the blinds to the window so there could not be a way that one window would affect the entire house to heat up to 85 degrees in the afternoon. John then stated that he didn't know what could be wrong with it and insisted it was because the windows were letting heat in. He began to argue with my mom being rude and confrontational, after he was finished arguing my mom asked him to leave our property as he was not doing any work to fix the issue. The tech was completely out of line and unprofessional, he came in to the house with a confrontational and defensive attitude. The issue is still not fixed and the air conditioner is not cooling the house after this second time Ancae has worked on our unit. Should have read these reviews first. I called this company because they originally installed the water heater in my newly acquired house and it had a slow drip i wanted fixed. While they sent out a guy the next day, it took him many hours and three trips back to his shop only to leave the problem worse than when he started. Had the audacity to present me a $500+ repair bill and tell me he was done. He not only failed to repair the leak, he burned the ceiling above his poorly soldered repair. When i called the following morning to complain and request they send an experienced plumber to fix their mistakes, they offered no solution other than sending the same guy. This company has no right to be doing business. Ought to have any licenses revoked. Do not waste your time. Maybe i should be grateful they didn’t burn my house down.
These guys forged my father's engineer's license several years ago - cut out his seal from another project and pasted it onto some hand-drafted HVAC plans. Needless to say, the Owner who paid for these and the installation had immediate problems and called the "engineer". When they found out that he had never heard of the project, the Owner hired us to diagnose and fix it. It was pretty terrible. I'm surprised they're still in business, as they were supposed to be thoroughly investigated by the Board of Licensure for Engineers. This was around 9-10 years ago. EDIT: I spoke with the owner last week, Andell, who called me in response to this review. He explained he was not aware of any of the situation above, other than the project in reference was a challenge to say the least. He suggested if this was done by his staff, he was unaware. Either way, Andell seemed like a nice guy and I don't hold whatever happened against him personally. I still stand by my statement above, but with the caveat that the Owner may not have been privy to the situation.
Buckle up- this is a long one but it's worth it. ANCAE is by far the worst company I have ever encountered in my life. I am a property investor so I work with a lot of companies like this in ABQ. I had to learn the hard way that ANCAE Plumbing does bare-minimum work. I hired them to install a very expensive HVAC system in my own home (in October 2017) and it has been nothing but problems ever since. Seven months after ANCAE put in our HVAC system, a different plumbing company came to my home to remedy a non-HVAC plumbing issue and they just happened to notice that there was no city inspection tag on my HVAC units that ANCAE had put in several months prior. Up until this point, we were already pretty unhappy with ANCAE due to numerous other issues we've had with the system, so I immediately called the owner of the company- the lovely Andall. I asked why our system was never inspected by the city, to which Andall replied, "well we've been busy". I don't think he would have ever had this system inspected if I had not asked him (it's also my fault for not knowing that this system would need to be inspected by the city in the first place- a mistake I will never make again). The other plumbing company also pointed out a million things that ANCAE did poorly or incorrectly- yikes. So Andall begrudgingly started the city inspection process with me. It took EIGHT visits from the city inspection department to get the system approved. The approval process took months because the system was installed so poorly. It was a huge waste of my time and the city inspection department's time to have to make 8 visits to my home before the system could be approved because ANCAE didn't do it right the first time. Or the second time. Or the third......and so on. At this point, I'm ripping out my hair in frustration that a company is allowed to treat decent people like myself this way. Shame on them. We called Ancae to come on a weekend to fix our heater, they came quick and were efficient. We then had a valve replaced on our water heater during the week, again very quick response, efficient, competent and professional. Very happy with their service and highly recommend.
Great company. Used them to install new heater/refrigerated air unit several years ago. Had them install new bathroom faucets for us this past week. Have always had great service from them at reasonable costs.
This is a Christian based company and they do their best to correct situations to the customer's satisfaction. Unfortunately everybody doesn't want to pay for the repairs to the equipment THEY own. But this company goes out of their way to correct any situation they are faced with to the best possible solution for everyone concerned.

I would give less than 1 star if I could. Rotten business. stay away at all costs. We used them for a conversion from Swamp cooler to Central Air. They left the copper in the ceiling, it slowly leaked and when we asked someone to come out we charged for an inspection fee without notifying us up front. We said no and The REPUTABLE places don't charge for inspection either. If they do, THEY LET YOU KNOW UP FRONT, NOT WITH A BILL. They put a lean on a former client over $55 they should have written off. After we dropped thousands for the conversion, this is how they treat you. Horrible business practices and customer service. Reported them to Better Business Bureau which is also a joke with no ability to work for a resolution. DO NOT USE FOR ANYTHING, THEY ARE TERRIBLE
