I want to like and recommend this company, but I currently cannot. The technicians were very professional and identified my AC problems, working diligently to refill my coolant and replace a capacitor. The price was steep: $1400, but I happily paid it to have cool air again as the temps have been reaching triple digits. Unfortunately, two days later my AC stopped working again. I left a message on the Angi app as well as a voicemail, in addition to other efforts to contact them. It's been almost two weeks now, and I have not heard back. I understand the July 4th holiday, but I hope they don't take that whole week off as it is the hottest time of the year here. Hopefully they will follow through and I can update my review.
There should be a category for persistence, we were having a problem with our a/c that the techs just couldn't find, but thanks to Brian, James, and the two Michaels they didn't give up. We could be suffering during this heat wave, but our heroes found it and fixed it. I cannot express how great the service was and is. Thank you all.

Robert called before he arrived and arrived on time, after scheduling the appointment before 8AM, he arrived around 8:27AM, very impressive response from scheduling and the service tech. He tried his 6-foot snake, after I mentioned my 3-foot snake didn't clear the clog. He was unsuccessful, so he tried using the cleanout, which didn't work, so he used a camera to find a root intrusion, in the flange, from my toilet to the main sewer line. He had to remove the toilet and use the machine to clear the line. After clearing the line, he confirmed the line was clear, including adding toilet paper, to make sure the paper could pass the root intrusion. I appreciated frequent updates with every troubleshooting step. He provided a rough estimate of $2500 to break the foundation and replace the flange, to prevent repeat root intrusion. [UPDATE] Within 24 hours my shower pan failed to drain and the toilet in the same bathroom stopped draining, however the next morning, both were working ok. I called to document in my profile. [7/5/23 UPDATE] Same toilet, same symptoms, over 100-degree heat and a >30-foot tree roots searching out water appear to have infiltrated the sewer drain again. I managed to clear the blockage with my own auger, however the toilet was still not flushing properly. I called and learned they have aligned their previous $75 clogged toilet rate to their $135 drain service rate, which is still less than the competition. They were able to schedule an appointment for the same afternoon. Greg arrived with trainee Jaylynn. Both were professional, providing frequent troubleshooting updates and finished exactly 1HR from arrival time. They repeated the same auger attempt and realized the blockage was clear from the toilet side, as the water would drain, still not flushing correctly. They used the 80-foot snake, from the sewer clean out and the toilet still wasn't flushing properly. Greg diagnosed the problem as the dual-flush mechanism and suggested rep
Rodney Chavez, the salesman who came to my property to give an electrical panel estimate, relied on a presentation full of fluff. He said anything to make a sale, and later back peddled when his inconsistencies were high lighted. Because I am adverse to doing business with his salesmanship tactics, I did not settle on hiring ABQ Plumbing to update my electric panel.
My HVAC unit started making strange noises so I called ABQ Plumbing. They promptly answered the phone and were able to send someone out the next day. A very knowledgeable and skilled technician (Marcos) was able to diagnose and fix the issue within 20 minutes. I am very happy with the quality of service and the explanation of work done. My central evaporative and a water heater died the same week! Pam at Alb Plumbing took the time to do 4 different quotes, so I had all the options. She also ran over at the last minute to drain the water heater so it would stop leaking while I sifted through the $ options. Pam and Justin knocked both out in almost exactly 8 hours just like they said they would, too. They are knowledgeable, commucative, and friendly!
Aureliano is an excellent tech. Always professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. The AC problem was diagnosed and repaired in an hour. This is the second time Aureliano has been out for an HVAC repair. We've also used Albuquerque plumbing, heating and air conditioning for plumbing as well. Great employees and reasonable pricing.
I have a very high efficiency Heil air conditioner. Albuquerque plumbing was able to assess and fix my problem quickly. I also felt that the price was very fair.
This company is exceptional! I had an issue getting a competitor out here for over a week. Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating & Cooling came out today with no prior appointment and fixed the issue within an hour. Their price was very reasonable, and I will welcome them back to maintain my heating and cooling in the future!
It’s tough to find reliable, fairly priced service on a Sunday morning. Vicente from Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating and Cooling came out and was able to quickly diagnose the leak over my water heater. He gave a very reasonable estimate and quickly performed the work. Vicente was friendly, professional and efficient. The work comes with a 1 year guarantee on what was done. I would call again if I need other work in the future.

We were given a four hour window for swamp cooler maintenance at two separate homes. One truck and tech arrived for each house at the same time, and early! Jerry and Tyler were quick and efficient. They shut down the furnaces and got the coolers up and running. They were so kind to the old ladies who live there! They were patient and answered all of their questions. I’m so glad that Heather S. recommended this company! Worth every penny. We also just had Pam and Justin over to repair our swamp cooler. They were quick and efficient, professional but kind. I truly appreciated their assistance today. Pam had quotes for two different future replacement of our swamp cooler because of its sad state. When we are able to do so, we will give Pam a call!
I have an aging rooftop swamp cooler and when it finally went beyond my DIY skills, I relented and called these folks. And they did not disappoint! Michael was a delight, very knowledgeable and willing to explain his findings, and upfront about the things that aren't feasible to repair at this point. When we retire the old beast up there, we'll give you a call, but hopefully you've given it a bit more life.
Professional and got the job done quickly! Also, very responsive and provided many updates. I will definitely call again the next time I need service for my air conditioning.
