Alex was responsive and showed up soon after I called. We had lost heat overnight from a burnt out igniter in our forced air heating system and were freezing all day. It was 20 degrees all day and was going to be colder overnight. I called Alex and within 20 minutes he was at my door. He was honest and gave me tips for upkeep. Would absolutely use again and recommend anyone looking for HVAC help to do the same
After hours, I discovered my basement was beginning to flood with sewer water out of the pipe that serves the washer and dryer. I was afraid it was the main sewer line to street and imagined a horrific night ahead. I called NJ Affordable, and Alex was at my house in 30 minutes; through process of elimination, he figured out the clog was just inside the house and was able to find an entry point without cutting pipe unclogged it within half an hour with little mess or fuss. He then gave me advice for avoiding the problem in the future. His rate was reasonable, esp. for after-hours work, and when I tried to tip him, he waived the money away. Would definitely go to him again for any issue I had.
Alex is fantastic. I had a sink clog and he arrived within 20 minutes, took the time to walk me through his plan of attack and gave me all of the information I needed to understand both the best and worst case scenarios. Had a leaking pipe on a Friday night. Alex first addressed the situation over the phone to mitigate the damages and showed up in less than 20 minutes. Walked me through diagnosing the problem and providing a solution. Showed up early the next morning, on time, and ready to tackle the job. Explained each step of the process and resolved the issue. Highly recommend and would hire again. Nice guy too!
Alex came to fix my bathtub faucet which was leaking bad for a couple of days. He was very responsive, did a great job, gave me some great advices, was very professional. Thank you!
Sorry if this posted twice, but it was worth the embarrassment because Alex is wonderful. He showed up on time, he did his job quickly, he unclogged sewer line for me and showed me how to maintain it, his price was reasonable, he was friendly. I would hire this guy in a second and he gets bonus points for being a cat lover.
Alex was very professional. He was at my house within 2 hours of calling him. He provided much overdue service to my steam heat system and gave me pointers on how to properly maintain it myself. He was a straight shooter and did not try to sell me on anything that wasn’t necessary. I will definitely use him again in the future and highly recommend his services.

Needed to have valves on the water meter replaced. Very honest and told me that I only needed to replace one, not both valves and was considerate about me not spending money on something that isn't a necessity. Also, gave advice on what to do regularly for maintenance and preventative care of plumbing throughout my house. Very helpful and would definitely go to for anything that comes up down the road.
Alex was very professional and knowledgeable. Called him at 9:30am and he was at my house by 10:30am. He quickly diagnosed the problems I was having with my furnace and had my heat restored within 20 minutes.
Alex was fantastic! He explained exactly what the problem was and wasn't for my existing tub faucet. The tub faucet was here prior to us moving in and was a cheap install and when the handle broke, other plumbers couldn't produce a solution without breaking my wall open. Alex was able to shop around for the products and when he couldn't find it, he repaired mine in his shop. He was absolutely excellent and I would 100% recommend him to anyone needing someone honest, professional, and affordable!
