Phenomenal customer service! I called at 7:45am and had a technician at my house at 8:10am. Great service! Repair technician Felix is very thorough and knowledgeable. He presented well and is professional. Felix worked quickly and explained clearly what he was to do. I honestly can’t say enough about Perfect Star. These guys have responded quickly. Felix is the most professional, honest hard-working tech I have ever worked with. I absolutely recommend this company to anyone. I had a pleasant experience!

To say that Jorge goes above and beyond is an understatement. We lost AC when the temps were in the 90’s. It was well past typical business hours. Jorge not only texted me back, but helped me troubleshoot via FaceTime and got it working again. He then texted and came to my home in the morning to ensure it was still working properly. I will NEVER use another company and will ALWAYS recommend Jorge and Challenger.
This company came to check a leak that we had coming from the attic into the first floor. The technician arrived late and left my kitchen sink in worse conditions than it was before they arrived. The technician's helper seemed totally lost trying to put the kitchen sink back together after they removed it. The sink was leaking afrerwards. There prices are also ridiculously high. We received the highest quote of $5,000 to fix a broken pipe inside of a wall and they charged almost $200 for an estimate. If anything, we should have been the ones being compensated for the kitchen sink that they damaged. We ended up going with another company at a fraction of the cost. I was very disappointed with this company as I was recommended to them by someone else. This is a genuine review by a real customer. There typical response seems to be that someone was never a customer when they leave a negative review. That isn't good business practice or ethical. They definitely don't seem to specialize in plumbing issues. Heating and Air conditioning may be what they are more proficient at. They also said that they don't do any drywall work after they break open the walls. $5,000 to replace a broken cast iron pipe and then not repair the walls after is ridiculous. I definitely won't be using there services or requesting a quote again.

Nice work, came on time and honest on their work estimates etc. Replaced the motor and fixed my unit AC even in the long week-end, their dedication and effort and they said they are ready to come back and gave a year warranty on parts. Really liked their work, would recommend others too.

I have dealt with other companies providing services and then disappearing after you call them to recheck on their work or the work they didn’t do right the first time. This company is committed to their work and willing to even come back the same day twice to double check the work and try to figure out what the issue is. I had the pleasure of finding this company on the coldest day in NJ. I contacted them and someone was at my house the same day, within an hour! They were professional, kind, and attentive to my needs. The technician stayed to make sure my issue was fixed and didn't try to upcharge me for services. They followed up with me a couple days later to make sure I was still getting heat in my home. Plus, they sent another technician to look at the system again. I have not had an issue since. You will not regret using this service!

During one of the hottest stretches this past summer my A/C stopped blowing cold air. The big AC company I used for maintenance said the unit was toast (about 15 years old) and I needed to replace the entire system for a 5 figure sum. I called Jorge at Challenger on a friend's recommendation and he came quickly, diagnosed the problem within minutes, and suggested I fix the issue for a fraction of the cost of replacing the entire system which was still in good condition overall. Within an hour he had the new condenser and later that day my AC was running perfectly - cooling much better than it had been for years. The big "air" company had zero empathy and was only interested in selling me an absurdly expensive replacement. Jorge solved the problem, was patient and knowledgeable, and really saved the day for my family. I absolutely recommend Challenger - a truly customer-focused HVAC business with expertise and incredible service.
