Have been doing service for us for the last couple of years. They came in to repair the unit and put in 2 unions. To do this you have to remove the top of the tanks. 7 months later the tops are leaking and they said it's nothing we did you need to pay a $1000 to replace the o rings on the top of the tanks that they removed in July. Owner was nasty and because they are the only Kinetico water service. Spoke to corp. but they were no help. Don't use them and don't bu Kinetico. Answer to owner Wrong Andrew. Best case if you came in for an oil change and the next time the same shop says yours oil plug is stripped. They would be responsible. That's the correct analogy.

Brian Walker from Tri-County Mechanical is the best! He is professional, very thorough, friendly, helpful and provides excellent service each time. He usually comes once a year to service/change the filters on our Kinetico Reverse Osmosis and water softener filters. He takes his time to do the work and also explains everything in detail. We highly recommend Brian and Tri-County Mechanical!!!

Quick summary - Brian Walker from Tri County Mechanical is amazing. Brian is extremely responsive and friendly. Brian is genuine and authentic. He is a real gem. Brian fixed our 20 year old Kinetico water softner that's now discontinued. Looking at reviews, looks like others had very good experience with Brian as well. Brian was very careful with his work, and took the time to explain. Before arriving, he checked with Kinetico and looked for ways to fix the control valve head, which had sprung a leak on level 4. Rather than telling us to replace the whole system with a new expensive system like all the other dealers, he approached the problem laying out various options, and prioritized the options in consideration of expenses. Then he patiently tried to salvage what he could and was able to fix the system after numerous attempts in disassembly and re-assembly of the control valve head. Brian is one of the nicest contractor we've ever came across, and he's a rare find. Tri County Mechanical did the right thing hiring Brian. We hope they take very good care of Brian. We're now fans of Brian and will be asking him to service our HVAC from now on.

Tri-County is a good contractor. I actually enjoyed dealing with Andrew, the company owner. They are more expensive than others, but definitely worth it. My project included above average complexity installation of a residential heating equipment. I recommend Tri-County to anyone. It turns out they do HVAC as well. I wish I knew it, as I hired another contractor for HVAC work and it was a disappointing experience.

Water softener install- Overall the experience was great. Brian came to the house to give me the estimate and explain the process. He was also the installer. When they arrived he took the time to explain everything they had to do in detail, answer all my questions and he was very professional. They were very careful as far as laying down tarps and leaving my house the way they found it... CLEAN!!!! They tested and double checked everything and didn't run out the door when the last screw was tightened. They swept up, dried everything and took all the garbage with them. I usually don't write reviews but felt they went above and beyond to provide top level service, THANK YOU!

We recently had what appeared to be a failure of our Kinetico water softener system which was already in our house when we bought it. We were directed to Tri-County Mechanical as they are the authorized company to service Kinetico in our area. After doing an online inquiry, we were contacted by Brian Walker who does the servicing and installation for Tri-County and he could not have been any nicer nor more helpful right from the first phone call. After we explained what was going on and the age of our system, he advised us that it may be at the end of it's useful life and replacement may be necessary but would send us options and quote to try to remedy our issue. We set an appointment after receiving Brian's email and he then advised us that he felt confident he would be able to fix our problem and that replacement wouldn't be necessary. He came by, showing on-time and went to work and in the end, would not give up until he made sure he tried everything and it worked properly. Would have been easy for Brian to tell us our system was obsolete and needed replacement but he was honest and explained everything with complete clarity and we could not be more pleased with the service he provided. Without hesitation we would work with Tri-County again and Brian Walker in particular...He is a tremendous asset to Tri-County.

5 years ago Andrew came to my newly purchased home and installed a new Kinetico waster softener and reverse osmosis system. Andrew did a great job installing the equipment. 5 years later, our Kinetico system still works great and Tri-County has done a great job servicing the system and helping me with getting new filters for the both systems.

Brian came out to check on a faulty Kinetico system. After setting up the appointment, his arrival was timely and he exceeded my expectations on his workmanship and knowledge of the water softener. Having an engineering background myself, his take-down of the unit and finding the offending issue points to a high confidence in his trade. Clean-up was excellent and refused to charge for smaller gaskets that he replaced. His field note write-ups were excellent. Would recommend without hesitation.

I've used Tri County Mechanical for plumbing, heating, and air conditioning...they give great recommendations with good explanations, and complete the job from start to finish. We've recently used them to install a Kinetico Water Filtration System for our drinking/cooking water. It is so much better than the tap in taste, and of course, it's going to be healthier for our family. They've come on weekends or late in the day if they can to get the job done. We had our air conditioning system stop this past week, and their Master HVAC Technician, John, figure out a small pinhole piston was clogged instead of something much bigger. Thank you for alway being there to help us from the smallest to greatest issues when it comes to heating and cooling. I highly recommend their services to all.
