Very hard to call in to make appointment, pricing is at least 1.5-2x vs competitors. The silver lining is Tech is courteous and on-time. Would not recommend unless your building has a contract with them on lower pricing.
Tanous handled a full HVAC system replacement at my home in Hoboken. The owner personally came out to do the initial assessment and had a quote over to me in under 24 hours. The work started less than a week later. The crew was on time, worked efficiently, kept me posted throughout, and worked carefully to avoid making a mess. Everything about their service is top notch and professional. Not to mention the quote was significantly less expensive than the other two quotes I received while shopping around.
This hvac service did not show up to our apartment for an appointment twice. We had to make work arrangements to accommodate our appointment with them and they didn’t show up both times without letting us know. This is very frustrating.
I recommend TANOUS for all your Heating and Air Conditioning needs. The Owner Mike and his team are hands on and work with you every step of the way to get any project you need done efficiently and resolved in the best way possible. I had a major project to do involving a roof top commercial AC unit replacement on a busy Main Street, which called for a street closure and crane. All the companies I reached out to refused to even take on the job due to its complexity, but Mike took it on and exceeded my expectations. He even quoted me less than some of the companies that refused the job at the end. I've now used TANOUS in projects both Residential & Commercial and could not be happier. Mike, Kris, and the whole Tanous team were wonderful to work with from start to finish for a new ductless AC/heat system install in my Hoboken condo. They were super responsive and showed up when they said they would - half the battle with contractors - and everyone was professional, efficient, friendly, kind, and did excellent work!! When our AC failed in the height of summer in Hoboken we contacted a few vendors. We were given a wide range of prices and delivery dates. We contacted Tanous based on a recommendation and their quote, choice of equipment and warranty was extremely competitive. They showed up on time, were professional and courteous and when we hit an issue with the installation, we were able to quickly resolve it with Mike the owner. They charged exactly what they quoted. Everything you should expect from a vendor but these days hard to find.
I am writing this review because I am extremely satisfied with the service Tanous has provided. I wanted to have AC installed in my home, I had window units and over the summer it got too hot. I had 4 companies visit my home, all of them offered various solution to my needs, all of them sounded complicated, expensive and not what I wanted. Then a good friend of mine recommended Tanous to me, he had used them and was extremely happy, so I thought I'll give them a try. After a couple of days Michael the owner of the company came to my home, and he immediately offered me a smart and reasonable solution, with a superior product at a better price than the other 4 companies from before. I could also tell that Michael was very knowledgable in the field and trustworthy. The coming week they installed my system, they did a great job communicating throughout, the installation was clean, and professional, the technicians were considerate and cleaned everything after themselves, they offered good solutions to cosmetic challenges that came up, and everything was completed to my 100% satisfaction, I will most defiantly use Tanous again for whatever comes up. By far the best experience I had with any sort of professional service/contractor throughout my home ownership.
I live in Hoboken and I had an AC issue. I tried many companies for assistance with a problem I have been dealing with for many years. I googled and found this company, Tanous HVAC. I called them and Chris responded right away after which he sent me right away. They fixed it all within half hour with reasonable price and excellent service. I recommend this company!

Tanous provided us with speedy, excellent service. 🙏🏼 Our AC and whole unit seem to be working well again, after a repair person was sent out within a few hours on a scorching hot day!! 🥵 💦 😳 🙏🏼 They didn't even charge us, as loyal customers. We will definitely continue our relationship with Tanous for our HVAC needs.
ABSOLUTELY STAND UP GUYS! Mike has helped me out on 2 occasions one being a complex heating base board, boiler and thermostat install right before the winter and another with maintenance of my AC in spring. At both times i was desperate and both times Mike and team came through. The heating services mentioned were performed perfectly only to find a defective boiler owing to a manufacturer defect. Mike rectified it by getting a boiler out of pocket. The second time he helped me out was right before my child was due. I texted him and asked his help and in-spite of a busy schedule he sent someone over. Great guys and don’t even think of going to someone else

Tanous installed a new HVAC system for us and removed our old one. Throughout the quick process, we found them to be helpful, responsive, and very competent. The pricing was exceptional as well, clocking in at significantly less than some of the other quotes we received. Kris was particularly polite and patient and thoroughly answered all questions we had. Five star rating, highly recommended!!!
We recently went through a full gut renovation of our condo. We have dealt with so many contractors that it's hard to keep track anymore and our experiences have been less than pleasant. Tanous HVAC came in and completely changed the game. Mike and his employees are incredibly professional, they have fair prices, they do quality work, and were a pleasure to deal with. They installed 3 ductless mini-split units in our condo. Gave us the best price out of anybody, showed up on the promised date, and got it done in the promised timeframe. I would highly recommend them and will keep using them for maintenance and any future projects.

Diagnosed an issue with my furnace in 10 minutes that another company had not been able to figure out over multiple visits. Honest and competent technician, will definitely call them out again if needed in the future.
