Called for ice Machine and HVAC service. I was supposed to get a consultation. someone else fixed the ice machine because i needed it fixed asap before Basic had an appointment to come. But, my HVAC still needed servicing. My manger was setting up a catered event. The rep spoke to my manager over the phone and the rep would not listen to the issue, just wanted to know how he was going to get paid. I get it. All service people want to get paid...that's how it works. All he had to do was call me, the owner, back and he would see that I would have paid in any of his preferred methods. Instead, he just took off. I suspect there is another reason why he thought he would not get paid.....I hope I am wrong...either way, Not professional.
I broke my thermostat by accident and thus the heat stopped working on that floor. I called Jeff and he showed up on time and installed a new (and better) thermostat. I highly recommend them!
Jeff is amazing. He came out within the hour and fixed my AC issue. He won't try to fix anything other that what's absolutely necessary, and gave me advice on how to avoid future issues. Don't hesitate to contact Basic Air, you'll be glad you did!
My furnace was on the fritz, so I called Basic. Jeff answered (no voicemail!) and arrived at my home within 15 minutes. He told me that he wasn't sure of the problem yet -- didn't want to charge me for parts/repairs I didn't need, so did some diagnostics and called to re-evaluate hours later. Based on the tests, he determined what I needed, bought the part, and showed up the next day promptly as promised to install it. He encouraged me to reach out if I had any other issues. This is the way service should be. Jeff is pleasant, honest, thorough, responsive, and reasonably priced. And I have heat! I would recommend Basic Refrigeration in a heartbeat.
Highly recommend Jeff and his guys. Just replaced our 30+ year old furnace and AC unit with him and everything is working great. On time and reliable, reasonable pricing, ans worked well with my schedule.
Hired Jeff L & his team @ Basic Refrigeration to install a 24K BTU Mitsubishi thru-the-wall Air Conditioning unit. Installed meticulously beautiful, looks, runs absolutely flawlessly after one of the most BRUTAL summer seasons yet! Would definitely recommend! Thanks Jeff!
My AC went out during several days of 90+ degree heat. Called Jeff and the team at Basic Refrigeration. They responded promptly. Replaced a fuse to the fan motor. Could have easily told me I needed a new fan motor but he didn't, so the fix was a $15 part instead of several hundred for a new fan motor. Great, fast service, extremely professional and clearly an honest businessman and reasonably priced. I highly recommend Basic for all your heating and AC needs. Thanks Jeff!!
Came into a 20+ year old unit. Could have easily sold us on needing a new one, but didn't. Professional, quick to respond, and a straight-shooter. I would recommend this company to others. They came to us as a referral from two other people I trust.

The team at Basic did a great job explaining the benefits of a new heating and air conditioning system and detailed the cost, efficiency and comfort benefits. Once we decided to move forward, the team came and installed and hauled away all old equipment and debris. The new system was up and running and much more comfortable, efficient and quiet than the previous system. I couldn't be happier!
I've had been using Basic Heat And AC services for more than 6 years. The value is great and the service is wonderful. When I was ready to replace my A/C system, Basic Heat And AC was the only company that proposed a solution that was highly energy efficient and cost effective. When I had a question about some work that a general contractor had proposed for an addition, they called me directly. They spoke to me honestly about the suggested changes and whether the projected cost made sense given the age of my system. Thank You for excellent service
HORRIFIC. Basic installed two new systems into my home 5 years ago. They contracted new units, which I came to find out were years old. I have had nothing but problems every summer with the systems. Basic made simple mistakes like not connecting the wires properly to major mistakes like not install the system properly (ducts, pumps etc.) so that my system kept failing, freezing up, losing freeon etc. One unit was not properly connected so it vibrated itself into misalignment. System was overtaxed so that major parts such as pumps are already on last legs after only 5 years. Just paid Reiner to re-do so that now we actually get proper air conditioning. WORSE THAN HORRIFIC. If I could give 0 stars I would.
