The Cooling Company recently installed a new unit in my home. They were absolutely fantastic, and I couldn't be happier with their service. First off, let me tell you, these guys are super friendly. From the moment I reached out to them, they treated me like a friend rather than just another customer. They were patient and took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. What impressed me the most was how responsive and on top of things they were. Whenever I had a question or needed an update, they were lightning-fast in their response. I never felt like I was waiting around for answers. Their communication was spot-on, and it made the whole process so much smoother. The Cooling Company really went the extra mile to make sure I got the most bang for my buck. They took the time to analyze my home and recommended the most economical options that suited my needs perfectly. I appreciated their honest advice and expertise. They didn't try to upsell me or push unnecessary extras. When it came to the installation, everything went like clockwork. The technicians arrived on time, ready to get to work. They were professional and efficient, making sure every detail was taken care of. They treated my home with respect, cleaning up after themselves so well that you wouldn't even know they were there. It was hassle-free from start to finish.
Justin came to do a smart thermostat installation. I tried doing it myself, but some additional wiring was required that I didn't want to deal with, so I called The Cooling Company and Justin did a great job. He's very professional and knows his trade.
Justin Chavez was here to check on why we were not getting enough cooling in our 2nd floor bedrooms. Our system is working well after he inspected it, and found that several vents were closed downstairs. He opened them and advised us how important scheduled maintenance is for our warranty to be effective. Also suggested sun protection material for windows...Justin was professional and patient with all our questions. Somewhat cooler upstairs, but we haven’t seen 100 plus days yet!
We have a Manufactured Home that needed a new Heating and AC System. It was difficult to find a company that understood the unique "HUD" requirements for manufactured homes when changing out a furnace. We would strongly recommend The Cooling Company and specifically Lucas and Wellington who were extremely knowledgeable about what is required to have a safe and "to-code" system installed. The technicians that installed the systems were very professional, courteous, and knew exactly what they were doing. We now have a brand new excellent Heating and Cooling system that has a warranty of 10 years!! We would recommend them to anyone needing and new system our repairs on their current system.
Had an annual maintenance agreement to service my 3 AC units. They found 2 capacitors out of spec; quoted replacement of all three capacitors for $1,571.43. (They had already replaced one of the capacitors 18 months prior, so it was just out of warranty.) Got a quote from another firm for $280. Clearly, they are rip-off artists. The 15% discount they offer with the maintenance agreement pales in comparison to the amount they are overcharging. They could offer 80% and still not be competitive. And the maintenance agreement is not actually annual. If you renew, the old agreement is canceled, no refund, and replaced by the next one. Here is my correspondence with them explaining their policy: [I] wrote: Quick question about my account: I initially signed up for annual maintenance on 6/21/21, invoice XXXXXXX. I renewed in 2022 during the March checkup, on 3/28/22. That renewal should have extended the annual maintenance by one year, to 6/21/23, correct? Justin is saying my annual maintenance expired on 3/28/23, in which case I did not get a full-year coverage from the first purchase. Please clarify when my maintenance agreement expires and what your policies are for early renewal. Thank you. [TCC] wrote: I wanted to clarify your maintenance plan expiration date. Since your last renewal was on March 28, 2022, your plan will expire on March 28, 2023, which is one year from the date of your renewal. However, if you choose to renew early, your new renewal date will be the date you renew and pay. I see on your account that you have did received the full coverage on the first purchased as you used up all your maintenance visits and received a 15% discount on all services and repairs, as well as having the $79 service fee waived. You have the option to renew early or renew on the day it expires, it's up to you. But please note that the day you renew will be the same date one year from your maintenance plan expiration. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Justin was very informative and helpful. He did a thorough job completing maintenance. He also was very respectful of our home and wore shoe covers. I really appreciated that as many others are not so considerate. He did a great job!
The Cooling Company takes good care of its customers from the call to set up the appointment through billing and follow up. Each person listens responds clearly to make every conversation pleasant and productive. The techs do a great job and explain what they did in simple terms. I am given enough information to make my own decision. I do not feel pressured or up-saled. We just signed up for another year of their maintenance program. We look forward to having them back out in the summer and before if the need arises. Thanks Cooling Company and Mr Chavez.
The technician found and promptly fixed a problem in my A/C unit, thus saving me from what would've been a major repair. He was very knowledgeable and professional and it reminded me of why I chose this company in the first place when I bought the A/C system.
Spring 2023 update: We just had Justin come to perform our spring maintenance to be ready for the Vegas summer heat. He is simply amazing. I'm a geek too and he shared all the readings from his equipment and told me the unique qualities we had purchased in our systems from The Cooling Company five years ago now. Super friendly customer service and thorough job cleaning the coil fins on the units! Happy again. We purchased our energy efficient units from the Cooling Company and have used them for our twice yearly tune ups ever since. Frost, this year's tech was very thorough and informed us the best way to care for our HVAC heating units and filter systems for the upcoming winter months. His inspection and data showed everything is well within specs and the units are running like a charm. Ready for the holiday winter time.

I had a new A/C system installed by the Cooling Company about ten years ago and I have used them for service ever since. They have been very good about standing behind the equipment, always responded quickly when I needed help. Tech's are professional and have consistently solved whatever problems I was having. The best A/C company I have found in 'Vegas.
Ayed is a very competent technician. He listened to our concerns and was thorough in checking them out. He double checked all of his work. We appreciate the quick response and the quick follow up.
We have been using The Cooling Company since we moved here about 4 years ago. We have been very happy. This most recent visit, we had Justin come out. He was very thorough and professional and so patient with my 3 and 5 year old kiddos who just wanted to follow him around and watch him. They asked him about a million questions and he answered every one!
Justin arrived early. He was very professional and friendly. My issue was diagnosed and corrected very quickly. The only downside was it was a bit expensive.
We've been dedicated to the Cooling Company ever since we had to replace our old AC unit some 7 years ago. Ever since they have provided routine/regular maintenance. We had them clean our vents just this month. We are dedicated because the quality of service, attention to detail, service providers knowledge and advice have always been a 10 for us. With the recent HVAC maintenance we met Joe. He was great. You're in good hands if Joe provides you service. GO COOLING COMPANY!!!!
Justin Chavez (technician) was excellent. He explained everything he was checking and was very professional. He did a excellent job on our AC unit this summer with a Freon leak when he was our technician. The best technician we have ever had on any type of service call. Thanks, Justin
