Checked my furnace’s and cleaned. Very courteous and professional
quoted $59 to replace PRV on water heater; when they arrived they then informed me it was $160 which is absurdly expensive for 20 minutes of work plus travel time. If it was an hour in total with travel that is still an absurd rate. Their accounting department called me and had an I don't care attitude. I won't use them again.
What a relief to get same-day sevice--hot water heater went out and needed to be replaced. Called it in about 11am, tech came out 2pm, new one installed by 5pm :)
The workers were very good however the first water heater they put in leaked had to install a second one. The price was at least double what I ever expected. Hard to believe a water heater could be $4000 nowadays, doesn’t make any sense. My home warranty only reimbursed less than half of what I paid. Hard to ever recommend a company with such high prices.
I had discovered that my garage had turned into a pool overnight, the 2 year old water heater that they'd installed had failed (not due to their workmanship); this was around 5:45am, they had a tech out by 9:00, and the replacement was installed and ready to go by around 2:00pm. All in all, aside from the stress from the cleanup, it was an overall good experience. They even hauled off an old water softener that came with the house free of charge! Definitely keeping them on standby!
Hawthorne performed the yearly furnace checkup. Told me about future failures and answered ductwork questions. I'm always pleased with Harthorne and their technicians.
Eric did a great job as usual. It was time for furnace check up. Eric checked everything out and found all was in good condition for the winter. I will ask for Eric when ever we have heat or cooling problems He is through, fast. and neat. Cleans up when done.
We scheduled our annual water heater service. Hawthorn came out on time (text 20 minutes before with a photo of the technician). Entire servicing was done in a very professional fashion. They replaced the anode rod which I supplied. Left my house clean. Very pleased with the service (this is the 10th year that they have come out for this service. Each time excellent service)
Furnace repair..it was as usual completely great. My furnace had blown the fuse in the attic n it was freezing. I immediately got a tech, Eric, who found n fixed the problem. I have used Hawthorne for 20+ years and have never been disappointed. They are supreme! Thank you all, Leah in the office, Eric, Sean, and the greatest manager...Angel!
PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR A FEW UPDATES I have been using Hawthorne for over 15 years. Their quality of work has always been exemplary. You may find cheaper but you won't find better. They done a variety of repairs over thg he years from minor to major. On the major end, they have my AC and Heating units, installed an air purification system, new service free water softener, new hot water heaters. Their plumbers and AC guys are all very competent and quick and efficient about their work. They are also respectful and courteous. I have always been comfortable with them in my home and they have had to be there for extended periods of time on some jobs. I have truly found that to be a priceless advantage of using their services, I have had a service contract with them for many years and it is worth every penny. Last year when I was replacing my AC units, I called a few places for estimates. Goettl never even returned my call and Ivwss looking to get a new water softener as well. 2 jobs and I couldn't get past a screening call. The Hawthorne HVAC representative came out and provided me with 8 different estimates at varying prices. He is also the only one that went into my attic to inspect things. At 3 am on 06/11/22 (a Saturday), I discovered my ceiling was leaking water in a room downstairs. The person who fielded the call couldn't have been nicer and more patient because I was panicked. The on call plumber (Jessie) called me right away and was at my house by 4 am. He quickly identified the issue; explained what he had to do and too care of business. He was done in a little over an hour. Very polite but focused on his work. He helped me cover my property and furniture in that room so it wouldn't be damaged during the repair. He advised that I needed to contact a water reclamation company to check for mold and other hazards, before repairing the hole in my ceiljng. I would not have known that if he didn't tell me. Others might but I didn't! Never b

The furnace inspection service was very thorough and helpful to us — we have 2 furnaces/AC units. He took electronic measurements from the actual controller boards and helped us make a decision to replace one of the capacitors. He also helped me replace a filter in a ceiling return vent which I could not easily reach. Thank you for your service to us.
They were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The took their time and did not rush the work. They are amazingly courteous. Our technicians that serviced my house went above and beyond his duties and my expectation.
Great employees and services provided contacted for an appointment got my problem diagnosed and got emergency water service done on the weekend and after discussion on options and financing went with some of the better options that fit my budget. Final work for water system and tankless water heater done during the week and very happy with installation and water quality.Thank you for completing both installs in one day . Carlos Quintana & Thomas Lopez came to our home for air conditioner repair. Carlos came out 1st because we thought we had a plumbing problem, it wasn’t but he got on the phone to call his supervisor for help with our problem. Made an appointment for HVAC the next day. Thomas came out and checked our air conditioner and found out there was a problem with the insulation preformed from a different company and the water that was leaking was from an air duct. Told us to contact the original company to fix the problem which they did. Hawthorne Plumbing was the only company that could come out the same day to check to see what was going on. The next time we have a problem they will be the company we call for help. Very professional. October 3, 2020 Needed a plumber to install a garbage disposal. Nick from Hawthorne came out to our home to do the installation he is very professional and knowledgeable about his job. We called on a Sunday and there was an actual receptionist that scheduled our appointment how refreshing is that? So from the receptionist to the dispatcher to the technician and billing we are very pleased with Hawthorne Plumbing & Heating. In the last couple of weeks they have been there to offer their services.
Eric and Andrew did a thorough job reassembling the set up to be correct and checked all was in order! We have always found Hawthorne Plumbing, Heating & Cooling professional, caring and responsive. Much appreciated.
