Took 2 weeks for our tankless water heater to be repaired- we were without hot water for that whole time. They were “waiting on a part”… why wouldn’t you expedite it?? We could have ordered the same part and gotten it within a couple of days, which we would have done if your people didn’t keep beating around the bush and telling us they didn’t know the exact part every time we asked. All companies care about these days is making money.. so sad. We will never use this company again. I DO NOT recommend them.

My water heater was leaking on Feb.21 from a pin hole in the hot line out to the house, I turned the water off to the water heater and flipped the breaker on the side of the house. 5 Star was sent out Feb. 22 from Fidelity Home Warranty and they replaced the hot line, the technician told my Wife not to turn it back on until the water was gone in the drain pan and he also suggested removing the insulation around the water heater because it was saturated, when I got home from work in the evening I removed the insulation and my Wife had already removed the water out of the pan. I flipped the breaker and we had water until the evening of Feb.23, I tried the outside breaker and nothing, I called Fidelity and they sent 5 Star out on Feb.24 and he said it was a reset button on the inside of the water heater that tripped because the insulation on the inside was saturated, unbeknownst to us since he failed to mention that the first time. NOW Fidelity is trying to charge us for a call out fee and I tell them that the second call was because of the water line that started the whole issue, they say I would have to call 5 Star. When I called 5 Star the woman said it was my fault for turning off the breaker the first time and they won't call Fidelity and fix this issue. Terrible customer service, why would you call Fidelity and make yourself look bad even if it's the right thing to do.

Scheduling was pretty good. The installer came out and was very nice and professional. The water heater was pretty big so he needed to call help. When I came home, they had finished but unfortunately it looks like the water heater fell and hit the wall. Not a huge problem, accidents happen. Multiple calls and emails have gone unanswered.

Highly recommend. Mush, Manager and tech, Argo, were very friendly, courteous, attention to detail, fast, and respectful to my home. Explained everything and made sure the water heater replacement was done correctly and very quickly.

They went out and replaced a water heater..... they charged us 485 dollars in non covered fees and removed the check valve for HVAC... Tenant Complained daily that they did not have hot water. 5 star keeps saying everything is working correctly and tenant has no heat or hot water. They dont know what they are doing! Dont let them come to your property. Call real plumbers Ideal services or Boss Pluming. Congratulations to 5 star you have now been blacklisted by me and my broker.

Sasun did everything possible to keep me satisfied with the compony. They made two visits to my home to open my toilet stoppage. On the first visit it was Art, he cleared the stoppage and walked me through the process. Couple days after I was having the same problem again. This time Argo came out and cleared the stoppage again. They were all very professional and I had a good experience with them. But hopefully I won’t have a stoppage again haha.

Garry from 5 Star Home services was sent out to give us a second opinion on some work after a quote from another company the previous day. Not only was his quote on par to what i was expecting, his information and knowledge put him over the top. In the end his final price actually dropped below his quote. If you are looking for a plumber or you are utilizing this company, I recommend you request Garry.

I summited a claim to my warranty for a clogged sink and the temperature nozzle being off and only giving hot water. 5 star home service was the company assigned. I was ready to go to war because in my experience its always a battle for the contractors to do the work. To my surprise there was no battle, Johnny came repaired both problems. He was professional, clean and on time. I was very pleased with this company.

Plumber was in experienced and wanted to charge $1200 and put in a new valve when all I needed was new stems (cartridges) $60. First he said it was the shower head, I told him it was the stems (cartridges). He didn’t listen. I called my prior plumber and he fixed it.

Company failed to respond to the first appointment and rescheduled for the next day. They missed the 4 hour window and called and said they would have to reschedule a third appointment 2 days later. The Technician was very unprofessional on the phone and the office receptionist wasn’t much better. They should change the name to 1 star service.

I can not not say enough nice things about this company. From start, with their customer service representative, to finish with the technician, Garry. They made this process so easy for us. We were assigned this company through our home warranty company and when I initially called to get an ETA of service, after not having hot water for 2 days thanks to another terrible company, 5 star originally gave me a date of the following day. I explained our situation and that I had recently had surgery. The customer service rep pulled some strings for me and got someone out here within 2 hours. Garry was so knowledgeable and kind and I just can’t thank them enough.
