IMPRESSED! I had a backup in my main drain line and apparently, the line had several "offsets" and the clog was beyond camera view due to one. Tyler and his partner worked blindly on my line for over 2.5 hours and were able to break down the clog and open my line to the street. This was the second time in 6 months this had happened to me. The first company I called out did not clear the line completely, causing this second backup. KUDOS to Tyler for his persistence and professionalism. Grunwald will be my first call from now on!!
Don’t ever use this place they came and did roughly 15 minutes of work and I had to pay 464$ and I was shocked because all he did was vaccum my water heater and nothing else and when I tried to talk with the manager he was very rude and would not explain anything to me he also did this to a bunch of people I talked to and the manager later blocked me he didn’t want to listen to me and if you ask them for a license they will not show you a thing.THEY WILL THREATEN TO CONTACT COLLECTION AGENCY

Our blower went out mid-summer (June or July) so our AC, therefore, wouldn't cool the house. Being a union member (electrical), I wanted to give my business to a union contractor to help union brethren with their income. That being said, I reached out to the tinner union for their recommendation. They recommended Grunwald, and since I've used them for plumbing and they did impeccable work for plumbing, I decided to go with that recommendation and past experience (granted a different department). They sent a tech out within a very timely manner. That's when we figured out it was a bad motor. The tech put a temporary motor in and said that a new permanent motor had been ordered but would be about 3 or 4 months before the permanent motor would be in. Here we are, late December, and it still doesn't have the right motor. The temporary motor hardly cooled the house during the summer, so it really doesn't heat the house in a fairly typical Nebraska winter. The tech said he doesn't put in for billing until the job is 100% done, and yet we were billed after the last call we put in with the same guy for almost $500. Sorry, but that is far from union quality work (incomplete work and nearly non-working fixes). If you want a top tier contractor, look elsewhere, I've dealt with non-union contractors that do better work than this one. They seem to only care about the money, not customer satisfaction. Will I be helping union HVAC members out in the future? Possibly, just not with this shop
Called Grunwald Mechanical to maintenance equipment at a commercial property. They came out and looked at the time sensitive work. They said they would have a bid that week. Joe the service manager gave me his cell phone and worked with me directly. After 2 weeks I still did not have a bid but he reassured me I would get one. After 4 weeks he started getting unresponsive. I called the office and they talked to him and he told them that he did not have time for it anymore. He failed to inform me of this him self, instead he choose not to return calls or answer text messages. We chose Grunwald for this job because they appeared to be the the best and oldest mechanical contractor in Omaha. Now we have wasted 4 weeks on a time sensitive issue at our commercial property when all they had to do was communicate professionally and we could have worked with another contractor.
My water heater fire wasn’t lit and I didn’t know hot to fix it so I called them it took them about ten minutes and fixed it the second time they came and charged me almost 500 dollars for 10 minutes of work

I am thankful to have had a team like Grunwald replace our Boiler. Excellent company! I appreciate that they completed our system in a timely manner. I told my wife of 30yrs i would be sure to keep her warm back in December and the Grunwald came through new system, Nest thermostat.. Up and running .. We appreciate you all!

Same day service was available for both service calls. Techs were on time, friendly and competent both times. Definitely the new go to for furnace.
