Had the Technician come out after Home warranty. The guy looked at it, then without testing said i have been doing it long enough this is what it is. when given ways that he could test it he said he didn't need to and wouldn't. He then told me to google and when I told him I had and listed other causes he got defensive, interrupted me and eventually walked off during the conversation. unprofessional and per review of company this is common occurrence especially when dealing with warranty coverage.

Benak's was assigned to my work order through American Home Shield because my AC stopped working. They were quick to contact me for scheduling, showed up on time, and Erick was super friendly and quick to fix my problem. Would gladly work with them again!

Quote for materials and labor to install a garage heater was literally $2,000 higher than other two other companies to install exactly the same heating unit. The builder also used them for the HVAC installation and the first time we turned on the AC nothing but ambient temperature air. Why? After the service call (under warranty) they indicated there were multiple wires they had not connected at both the thermostat and outside unit. Not sure how this qualifies as a service call when they never bothered to check if the system actually worked after the initial install?

We contacted Benak through AHS when our old furnace broke on some of the colder days this month and right from the beginning they were very responsive and helpful. Eric came and identified the problem. Bob was very helpful and patient on the phone. He helped me with getting in touch with AHS and follow up with them. He promptly let me know when the furnace reached Benak and Igor and another person whose name I unfortunately never found out came and installed it the next day! They were all polite, professional, patient and empathetic They also like dogs! :) All in all, this was a great experience and I would recommend their services to anyone!

I used my home warranty to have my furnace serviced and was assigned Benak’s. There was an issue with the warranty, so I called to get some clarification. I wasn’t upset when I called and the issue wasn’t even a big deal, but every time I spoke, the man I talked to would interrupt and talk over me. I finally had to ask him to stop interrupting me. He was extremely rude and condescending, and was defensive from the very moment that he answered my call- even though the issue wasn’t a big deal and I was asking a simple question. Come to find out, it was the OWNER I was speaking to. I would never recommend Benak’s- not because of poor work, but because they lack any respect or common decency for their customers.

I worked through AHS to get my Boiler system fixed. I initially had another company look at it and they determined that I needed to replace the whole system. Benak's took a look at it and found out that one of the wires just had a bad connection, he wiggled the wires and that fixed it! Thank you to Benak's for restoring heat in my home!

Today I had the worst customer experience I've ever had with someone in my life. To find out that it was the owner of Benak's Heating & Cooling is even more shocking. Put simply, this company will not reach back out to you over the weekend even when you call with an opportunity for business. Then when you call them on Monday, the owner will hang up on you, cuss you, tell you to "**** off" only to hang up on you again because in his mind he was "just trying to have a little fun" while he degrades his competitor. I would never provide an opportunity for business to this owner or this company and I would recommend to everyone to steer clear of this poor excuse for a business. Next up, a call to the BBB.

I had a furnace installed by Benak's. When they placed the furnace on top of the blower tin assembly, they bent the tin assembly that surrounds the blower. I was unable to get the air filter out from the assembly so they sent the installer back to fix the issue. After applying a metal brace, screws and duct tape they were, at that time, able to put an air filter in and take it out. Well... 3 months later, the duct tape started coming off and the tin, I guess, started bulging again. This makes it impossible to put an air filter in all the way. I called Benak's (Bob) and told him that the fix did not work. He told me that I would need to open a service request with American Home Shield to have the assembly fixed because they bought the furnace???? American Home Shield covered the cost of the furnace but Benak's installed it and placed it on top of the blower assembly (probably dropping it) which caused the assembly to bend. Benak's will not fix their mistake. I am very disappointed,.

I was struggling with a different company to get an A/C Unit installed, I was told it would take they 2-4 weeks to fix it. I called Benaks that same day and they were out to see what I needed fixed. Once they determined I needed a new unit I got it installed three days later (there was 4th of July holiday weekend). I got a new unit put in and they ended up checking my other units to make sure they were up to date. My heat exchanger on my furnace had a big crack in it. If they wouldn't have caught that in the process, it could have been detrimental. I am so thankful for their response time, great customer service, and for going above and beyond for me. I highly recommend them.

It has been over 2 weeks since contacting Benak regarding a blown compressor. I was told that the part was ordered May 28 (even though compressors don’t need to be ordered and are readily available at any HVAC distributor). Called them again on June 5th to see what the issue was and why I hadn’t heard from them, they said they would check with their supplier and get back to me... never did. Now it’s Monday June 7th and come to find out they just ordered the compressor on Friday the 4th! Now our updated timeline is “hopefully Friday the 11th”, 3 weeks out from first contact. Making your customers wait 3 weeks to not only pay an outrageously up charged bill, but to actually get any service done, doesn’t seem like a sustainable business model. TLDR; Benak has negligible tendencies and lied about the status of my work order. Will be taking my business to Precision heating and Air

Called this company for a/c repair Bob came out and explained everything what is wrong with my a/c. Change everything did what needs to be done. After 1 year I called them to check if everything running as it should we found a leak in coil with out any hesitation Bob scheduled a repair time, Bob and his well knowledge employee came out and fixed everything even some extra parts and did good amount of extra labor on things that they not even ask to fix but ones they at your house they will make sure you happy when they leave. O and his wife is a great communicator on times, dates, and keeping you updated. Thank you Bob you guys awesome. 👍👍👍👍👍

Customer service verbally assaulted my sister while she called to ask for more information regarding how they could help with a furnace issue (which their phone number is plastered to the side of). It's mind-blowing how they can treat anyone much less a potential customer in this manner. No excuse.

This company is by far the most unprofessional company I have ever tried to work with. This company was on our furnace and so I called. I just recently bought this home and the previous owners had it replaced before we moved in. The woman on the phone directed me to another number not answering my question fully. Saying I needed to go through insurance that I don’t have. I called back and tried to explain that maybe my message wasn’t clearly received. The man on the phone started to yell and insult me. I, in turn, asked him to stop yelling and as I was again trying to explain he hung up. When I tried to call back there was no answer. This is a horrible run business who shouldn’t place their advertisements on a product if they “can’t” work on it. Absurdly rude and absolutely uncalled for.
