I needed to replace my HVAC blower motor. I wanted to buy the part myself, and install it myself, but they ONLY sell to contractors!!!! They lost my business. It's not difficult to shut off system with a switch, remove two screws, slide the fan unit out, and switch motors, and put back in reverse! I don't need a damn license to do that! I got the part from someone who would sell me one. I replaced it with no problems. It's a simple ac motor. YouTube is a wonderful thing for DIY. I paid about $250 for the new motor.

Hey Ryan, makes lots of sense. They wont sell to you, only contractors so they lost your business? Lol anyway, the reason for that is you probably dont know what your doing and when you tear the equipment up, you will write how terrible they are because they wont give you your money back! Also you do need a licence for them to sell to you too.
Here on a Saturday morning. They are supposed to open at 8:30 am. It's 8:40 right now. No one in sight. They probably don't have the part I need anyway. Lol
