I absolutely cannot say enough positive comments about my experience with Averill Heating and Air Conditioning. My 23 year old AC went out in the dog days of summer and I decided it was time to update to a new system. Mark Averill came out and gave me a very competitive quote and never once tried to upsell me on anything. It took me a couple weeks to get multiple bids and in the process I decided on some changes to the system as well. Averill came back 2 additional times during the process to make sure I was getting what I needed. They want want it to be right. Not only that, once I decided to go with Averill, Mark had Jack Farley come by and get my old system working until the new one arrived. Wow! Two days before the install Mike called to make confirm the final configuration. On install day, Mike and the whole team did a fantastic job. They were polite, communicative and their work is first class. You cannot go wrong with Averill!
Exceptional Service! These guys know their business. Jack called before coming out and quickly identified my A/C problem and explained what would be involved in fixing it. He had it repaired and running like it was brand new in no time. Thanks for doing more than I expected and thanks to everyone at Averill from start to finish.
Jack, the AC tech was on time and very courteous. He was very efficient in diagnosing and solving our AC cooling situation. We are pleased that we called Averill HVAC. And would call them again!
Jack and Mike were the pinnacle of professionalism on the service call I had today. Jack was very helpful in performing a normal tune up and adding refrigerant to my AC. Mike helped to diagnose an air flow concern i had and was willing to walk me through his thoughts on how to optimize the flow in my 1930's home. Thanks again!
Jack came out today to do preventative maintenance on our HVAC. He was very professional and friendly. He noticed that we had a significant issue with our outdoor air conditioning unit and gave us advice on how it could be resolved. We were very impressed with his service!
This is a Top notch company. They all were focused, clean, considerate, knowledgeable, and efficient. They completed the project in a matter of days from walk through to finish. Avrill clearly has a high standard. They were thinking ahead in terms of serviceability and made key install decisions to benefit myself and future servicing instead of just rushing to the next install. Thanks to all who worked on my project. I could not be more pleased.

I had a new Furnace and air conditioner installed today during Covid 19 and not only did I get great service , competitive pricing the gentlemen that came to my home were concerned about my families health. The wore masks wiped everything with Clorox wipes , put runners down so everywhere they walked it was covered. All three gentlemen were very pleasant and gave me the sense that doing a great job was the end goal. I will always recommend this particular Averill for all my heating and cooling needs .
The service I received was outstanding. The two service men who repaired the coil on my air conditioner were Eric and Jack. The were both very knowledgeable and professional when replacing the coil on my unit. I was scheduled a service call promptly and after diagnosing the problem, the parts were ordered and an appointment was schedule to repair the unit the following work day. I am happy to say my house has never felt so cool on a hot day. I am very grateful to have found a company that is honest, prompt, and hires the best people that go the extra mile for their customers! I will definitely be recommending Averill Htg and Air Conditioning to others!
I have used Averill before and what strikes me is their honesty. They don't try to sell me something I don't need. Jack Farley was very knowledgeable about my electronic air cleaner and furnace. I have used Averill Heating before when my airconditioner was not working efficiently and they handled that problem quickly also. I highly recommend this company.
Averill was able to replace my HVAC system quickly for a great price. They had also helped us out with a system recharge a year earlier. The Technician was kind and thorough.
Jack was our service person. He was great at explaining what was going on and fixed it immediately. It was just a minor noise issue, but he found it very quickly and we had a laugh about how usually when you hear a noise, it mysteriously stops when the technician is there! Thanks again Jack.
After a lengthy process of getting offers to replace our HVAC system, I decided to give the Averill company a shot at giving us an offer. Though I expected a hefty offer from them, I must say that to much to my surprise their offer was super reasonable for the best HVAC replacement option we were given overall (efficient total Trane HVAC system). We went with their offer. The installation was done in a very professional, swift, and clean manner and the system is wonderful! The system has been up and running for two months now, and we are so happy with the results!
I had an issue with my furnace, late evening. Left message. received call back the next morning at 7:30AM and Jason was here at 8AM. Issue was resolved by 8:30AM. Great service!! And Jason even educated me on what was wrong and how to identify it. I did not have to take a day off work. Will use them again for sure!
Averill Heating & Air Conditioning is a very professional and reliable company. I called early this morning when my furnace quite working and they arrived within a half an hour. Jack and Shannon were very polite and resectable and I felt right away that I was in good hands. They cleaned my furnace and fixed the problem and had it up and running in about one hour. My furnace is about 18 years old and they suggested that I may consider replacing it soon, but they didn't put any pressure on me at all. I was so grateful for their fast and efficient service. Their fee was very resonable and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
We called on a Saturday afternoon not expecting anyone to come out, and were very pleasantly surprised when they did! Jack saved the day and was very pleasant and friendly and professional. He even directed me to where I could find a coupon on their website. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
Averill heating and cooling did a great job from start to finish. Our new furnace works great and we love the new up to date thermostat. I’m sure our ac unit will work just as well this next summer.
Shannon Morgan came this afternoon for our annual Fall Heating Checkup. He phoned first to make sure I was ready for him to come out. He arrived promptly, as always, at the scheduled time. Very professional manners. Shannon really knows his stuff and always has a smile. He had us serviced & ready for Fall/Winter in no time. He offered a couple of suggestions and explained very well. Whenever we need someone from Averill, which isn't very often, either Shannon, Jack or any of the other Service Technicians are fantastic.
Jack Farley appeared Monday at the agreed time to service my furnace for the upcoming season. In a very professional manner he cleaned and adjusted the settings on our furnace. The filter was changed and we were ready for winter. The humidifier was checked and turned on. At my request he also checked our air conditioner condenser and flushed the coil outside. Averill should be your first call for ANY air conditioning or heating needs! My son was in need of a new AC/Furnace for his new home ( older home) and my research took me to Averill. They came highly recommended and took great care of his AC/Furnace needs. I now have my own personal experience to share as well. While on vacation our AC was not working well at all. I called Averill and they were able to send a technician out on a Saturday morning for no extra charge! They adjusted the AC so it worked until we were able to return from vacation and get some prices on replacing . Mark the owner came out the same day we returned from vacation to give us a quote and although we did get a second bid to be sure, Averill was our choice! They installed a new system the next day! They had a crew of four guys show up to replace AC and furnace. All four were VERY professional and answered all our questions . They cleaned up well and did a thorough check of the system prior to leaving. Our new system is fantastic! I find Averill to be reasonable in their pricing and fast in their responsiveness ! Great company to work with.
