Overnight, during this extended heat wave, our A/C stopped working. We have used Hank Vasill in the past (since he installed the unit for the previous owner) and always have been treated fairly and promptly. Today, I called at 7 in the morning and he was at our house before 10 to fix the unit. That is what I call great service! This is a great, small family owned business that we are happy to support.
I can't recommend Vasill highly enough! We purchased a two-family building right around the corner from Vasill a little over a year ago, and we've had to make a few calls for service/repairs. (Welcome to landlord life!) Each time Hank has responded to my initial call within in a matter of hours and has made appointments with me to be on-site the following day. I also feel that he has been EXTREMELY fair on pricing for each repair. He even showed me how to clean and maintain our ac units and change filters on his first visit. Today, a new issue came up, I called and spoke with their answering service, and like clockwork Hank called me back within a couple of hours. Of course they are crazy busy right now as we've went from spring to summer overnight. Hank told me it would probably be a couple days before he could get out this time (understandably so), however he took time out of his schedule to triage the problem with me over the phone/text pics and walked me through how to fix the issue myself. Granted, this was a very simple fix, but I can't say enough how much I appreciate this level of customer service when I know he's busy. He could have easily had me wait for a service call and charged me to come out to fix it. Thanks, Vasill Heating and Air Conditioning! Thanks, Hank!
Hank responded unbelievably fast to my inquiry about fixing our AC when it broke. He was professional, showed up fast, and had the parts necessary for repairs in his van already. Our AC was working again less than 24 hours after I first called Hank. Highly recommend!
Hank at Vasill Heating and Air Conditioning was the best choice for me. He was responsive with messages (text and voice). He was personally out at my house quickly to give me estimates and explain what he would be doing and why. Ran through all of my questions and made sure I understood the entire process. He was very clean, covering the floors as to not track anything in the house and made sure everything was picked up when finished. I would/will recommend him to anyone looking for any Heating/Cooling issues
Called Vasill for a second bid on a new HVAC system for my mom's house. He was out the same day, had a significantly better better for comparable equipment and was able to have the job done in two days. Fast, fair and friendly.
I highly recommend Vasill HVAC. Hank and his team had helped my mom with her home HVAC for 20 or so years, which is how I met him. We had an older system in our home and turned to Hank for guidance on what steps to take in replacing our system with an efficient, long-term solution. He was patient, thorough, and helped us choose the right system for our 100+ year old home. The system took about 3 days to install, which was amazing because it was really involved and required a ton of work on his part. We are SO happy with the results. He and his team are professional, punctual, and I trust them 100%. I am a real estate agent and recommend them to my clients, as well as my friends.
Excellent service! We had our boiler replaced. The technicians were knowledgeable, respectful and courteous. The installation took a couple days which was amazing considering the amount of work that needed to be completed. They were prompt and stayed with the job until it was complete. 100% Approved!!
We're impressed. Unlike another highly rated HVAC company we attempted to contact but never heard back from, this man was immediately responsive, fast, knowledgeable and prepared. He got our problem fixed no waiting on him.would hire them again.
Fast, friendly, and entirely honest tech. Came out for a pre-season A/C tune-up/inspection and told me everything looked great and it didn't need any work. On his way out, he even offered to take a peek at my car's A/C to let me know what kind of refrigerant it used and if it could be recharged. Best kind of people and service you can hope for. They've won a customer for life.
Using Vasill Heating and Air Conditioning is a great choice. My first experience is a complicated leak that needs to be seen in action and so I wasn't charged for the initial visit which is a first in my book. I did have a frozen pipe last month and they sent one of his staff and it was fixed promptly and professionally and reasonably. Highly recommended.
An excellent company with great people all around. The entire process, from quote through install, was smooth and professional. They did a great job of explaining each step in the process. Installation crew was great, friendly, hard-working, attention to quality, and finished on time. Highly recommend the team at Maple Heating & Air Conditioning!
Hank is my hero. He came out and diagnosed the problem with knowledge and efficiency. He explained what I needed to know and made me feel confident in his ability to fix our unico system. I wanted to hug him after he finished and gave us a warranty on the replacement part and his labor. We plan to use the company for our boiler in the winter as well as our new go-to AC guy. If there were 10 stars they would get it from us. Plus he was great with our dog, so throw in an extra star for that. Thanks Hank!!
This local business was recommended by several South City families. Hank Vasill responded quickly when my AC stopped working during a very hot week. He openly communicated the options and was respectful of my budget. It’s been a year since Vasill installed a new ac and furnace. All is well and my monthly utility bills are much lower.
