They were able to troubleshoot us and get our heat back on for a reasonable amount....took a lot of stress out of the equation
We just moved into a nearly 100-year-old house in the area and needed some AC help. The crew at American was quick to respond, super informative and very helpful. We knew what was happening every step of the way and the price tag at the end was great! Definitely recommend.

Great people! Really quick response and fix. I've called them a few times for different problems with both my furnace and conditioner over the last few years. Every time they come really quickly and fix things in no time at all! Very friendly and reliable!

Our air conditioner broke while we were on vacation and they were able to get there the next day to fix it. They gave us a deal on the price and when it broke again a few months later, they held to the work guarantee. They're really great people.
My heat went out during one of those super cold snaps that hits St. Louis. Mike was very quick to respond and met me at my home within a couple hours. The bidding process was seamless. I had a couple of other bids, but American Heating & Air Conditioning's was the best and beat the others I had received. They weren't so low that it was strange, they simply offered the same thing the other companies were offering, but for less, and I was happy to give them my business. They replaced the furnace inside as well as the AC unit outside, and both came with outstanding warranties. In short, I could elaborate in great detail, but the point is that this company knows what they're doing, they're extremely nice, and I would recommend them to anyone.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very fast to come out and install our new ac. Prices were way less than their competitors. I would highly recommend them.
100 degrees today and at least that the rest of the week. Called at 1:30 in the afternoon and a tech was at my house 30 minutes later! Great, fast service. Definately recommend
Got a beautiful new Trane system put in by the guys at American Heating & Air Conditioning and we have been loving it! We spent some years trying avoid changing out the old system. "Keep the old one working one more season" we kept telling ourselves. Each year Mike would come out and we would reevaluate the situation. Finally, this past Spring 2016 our old system was on its absolute last leg and we called Mike out one more time to get a full new system installed. Everything from the patience they demonstrated while we decided what make/model/configuration/efficiency/etc over the years, the professionalism in recommending what we needed without trying to up-sell us, to the quality job they did (in addition to a well-done, professional-looking job, they left everything clean), we couldn't be happier. And to top it off, their price was so much better that NO ONE could even come close to touching it. My wife and I HIGHLY recommend them!

Shawn is extremely flexible and knowledgeable about HVAC systems. Also he makes you feel comfortable about what is worth while work and when it's time considering a new unit.
