I had AC/Heating routine maintenance performed, and the technician did not tell me anything of what he was doing. He ended up turning off both of our water sprinklers without our knowledge and did not turn the water back on which wilted all our garden plants... What makes the least sense is he did this to two different water spouts on completely different sides of the house-and only one is close to the AC cooling coils. The maintenance itself appears to have been done but little to no information was provided- the tech basically just said "well, I'm done" then left.

Our A/C service tech identified and corrected a problem that had been causing our air conditioner to not keep up for a year or two. It turned out to be a simple repair when we thought we may be looking at replacement.

We bought both ac and furnace from United. We've had a service plan for several years too. When our last service was completed, we were advised that compression checks weren't being done each year on our furnace. We were upset that we've been paying a service contract for years and this company didn't even do all the maintenance promised. We were advised that we may need a new furnace soon due to the results from him testing it on this maintenance visit. We were shocked when he went on to say that previous techs were not checking this out. When I called the company they were rude and claimed that the tech was new and didn't give us accurate information. This really makes us uneasy about any work or service in the future. We asked to stop the service contract and were advised after we pay $300+ upfront. One of the top dogs got on the phone and started rattling off all the dates they came out. Made it out to be ok, because he was new and gave us inaccurate info. Another issue here is, if he was so new, why wasn't someone accompanying him? He was servicing both units for the year. They've also changed their agreement to once a year, instead of twice, still at the same price. Now, our units won't be serviced again until next summer, leaving us to wonder at what point that furnace will need to be replaced. We now have to pay out of pocket to have service done on the furnace by someone, even though we have a service agreement that we can't get out of. What a freaking mess! Just be careful using this company. Hope you have a better experience than we did!

Poor product. We've had multiple calls to maintenance on our HVAC which is less than 5 years old, with the unit going out on hot days two times. They upped their price for the preventative maintenance plan (which doesn't appear to be preventing issues) and now only come once a year (instead of spring and fall) yet they charge the same price as they did when they came out spring/ and fall. Disappointed a brand new HVAC has had ANY issues in 5 years, when it's been properly maintained.

I use United to purchase & install a new furnace & AC. I could not have chosen a company that I liked better. All employees that I worked with treated so much better than many of the people that have done work for me in the past. Based on the 5 employees that worked with me I would highly recommend United Heating Cooling & Plumbing.

Way overpriced. The plumber showed up within an hour of my call which I appreciated. I had him replace a pressure reducing valve and an outdoor faucet and two air hammer arresters. He added about 10 feet of copper piping and a few copper fittings to connect it together. I was charged $1000. I was given an estimate before he did the work and I agreed to the price but it's way overpriced.

Their quote was a lot less than others. They were forthright, honest, and efficient. I was very pleased with the entire process.

I had to fight tooth and nail to get anyone from the sales team to get back to me. While my warranty company was definitely an inconvenient hold up, I had to follow up 3-4 times over several days for an updated estimate and it took almost a month to get a new AC. They found a furnace issue while installing my AC and I have been waiting to hear back from them since August after emailing and calling several times.

Highly recommend!! Very professional and reasonably priced. Great service and attention. We shopped around to 10+ places and United was not only the most professional but gave a very fair price. Installers were professionals and polite.

DO NOT USE!! We have been loyal customers for years and United even installed our new AC unit four years ago. However…. Our AC unit stopped working last Saturday. We had a tech come out Saturday and another on Tuesday and they both said different things. They filled the coolant Tuesday but it would only last 48 hours at the most. They said a part had to be ordered. I called every day to check that the part was ordered. Yesterday when the air went out again I called at 2:00 and they would not send someone out again until today. I left a message for Joey, the service manager. No return call. We left our house because it was too hot. A tech showed up at our house this morning when we were at a family’s house with air conditioning without a prior call. my husband tried to call Joey again, no return call. They told me yesterday when I asked that the part would not be in until Aug 1 and we were offered no other help or suggestions on what to do in the meantime. What has happened to this formerly reliable and upstanding company? The communication and customer service have been very disappointing and we have called another company in to help us.

United deserves 6 stars. We are currently without AC, and we have an infant in the house. They have gone above and beyond to make sure that we are getting our AC back on, and keeping our little one safe. Thank you, United!

They installed HVAC. They come out twice a year to maintain the system. They also put in a new humidifier which they also maintain. The tech answers all of our questions.

Technician did not come prepared. We indicated when the service call was set up that we needed a new filter for the air scrubber, and even gave the model number of the scrubber. The tech didn't have the filter on the truck and admitted that he had not looked at the notes for the call. He had to come back later that afternoon, so we had to be here most of the day waiting for the full call to be finished.
