I would recommend Michael and G&H Heating & Air for anyone who is looking to get a bid on replacement of your AC and/or Furnace. I used Michael about 2 years ago for installation as another big name company came out and claimed my furnace was damaged and was "red tagged". Their price was nearly double the pricing than G&H gave me for a inferior unit (theirs being less than G&H). Their justification for pricing was "Well, we ONLY stock the best product and we are a business." I found the unit that Michael put into my house to be a great unit, has done a great job and am very pleased. I plan to keep G&H in mind for any HVAC needs going forward. Plus he is a independent, local business to support!
Michael provided outstanding service on installing a thermostat in our home. Knowledgeable and informative, he was very helpful to set everything up and explain how the new technology works. A++++Rating! Would hire Michael again for any HVAC work.
Our A/C hasn't been blowing cold for a few weeks now. We called Michael today and he arrived a short time later, along with his apprentice Julian. Michael was informative and quickly diagnosed that we needed a couple of pounds of refrigerant. Within 30 minutes we were blowing cold air again! Michael and Julian were friendly and professional. Great job, guys!

Michael fixed a problem with our furnace which was shutting it down. He was really thorough and unlike other companies who just try to sell you a new furnace he actually looked into the problem, explained it to us and resolved it.
Highly recommend G&H! The pricing can't be beat - and Michael the owner is a total professional with the knowledge and expertise. It's always great to support a family-owned business that takes so much pride in the work they do.
Michael was quick, efficient and personable when our HVAC system crashed on a hot August afternoon. Despite having a packed schedule, he made time to swing by after an emergency phone call and scheduled an install for a couple days later. In my experience, his price is very fair and service unmatched! Highly recommend!
Our AC broke on a hot Saturday morning. Michael was at our house within 30 minutes to try to fix it for us. He provided excellent service and gave us all the information that we needed regarding our AC and furnace. We appreciated his use of a mask and awareness of covid concerns. Couldn't be more pleased. He's the real deal.
My old A/C unit needed replacing. Michael came out within a half hour of my first call, and when the unit came in, installed it promptly, made sure everything was working, showed me how to use the thermostat and answered all my questions. Excellent communications, and he laid out tarps to not track dirt on carpet. Excellent value. So happy to find someone honest and dependable.
Late Friday PM, 15 degrees and a semi blizzard outside. Got home and no heat. Called Michael and he came to the west side from St. Paul and we had heat going by 6:15. Unbelievable service and very, very fair pricing.
Called Michael at 5pm, he was out the next morning and had our intermittent furnace issue fixed by mid morning. Quick diagnosis and replaced the circuit board for a reasonable price. Very nice, competent and trustworthy.
Michael was quick efficient and able to give me a great price on a furnace repair that another large company quoted almost double.
Quoted me $90 to check out furnace. Then when was he was done, added $20+ because he put new batteries in the thermostat. Will not be using them again. Charges should be explicit before work is done. I was not aware of a "no heat situation" charge.

Our furnace was repaired in 3 hours and they charged $100 - $200 less compared to the estimate from big companies! They even inspected flame sensor, gas pressure and all for free too!

Michael installed a new furnace and air conditioner in my house 14 years ago. It's worked great....until the recent hot spell when my AC was cycling and not cooling. Michael fit me into his busy schedule, quickly and economically fixed the problem and was really good at explaining everything. A terrific service experience!
