My AC decided to stop working right before the last heat wave. I reached out to a number of companies to get quotes to fix it. Turns out the best thing was to replace and not fix. I chose Golden Valley Heating and Air because of their simple, no pressure sales approach. Unlike other companies they were not interested in upselling me. Along with the new AC I had them address some Duct work issues I was having and add a humidifier to my furnace. They were able to fit me in within a week. Josh and Q showed up right on time, were very courteous, professional, and well experienced. They answered all my questions and made me feel at ease that they knew what they were doing. They left the areas they worked in cleaner than when they showed up. If you need HVAC work done, I strongly suggest you contact these folks.

Installed HVAC system. A two person crew arrived on time, were professional and did quality work, including cleaning up after themselves thoroughly. Another professional came to adjust some settings promptly when requested within the same week and was very helpful. Very impressed by the quality of customer service.
I found them through Costco and everyone I dealt/spoke with were very kind. They installed a new furnace, thermostat and air conditioner. Cleaned up after themselves and explained the reason some things were done. Wish I could use this company for all my home remodeling.
I use annually in spring for both heating and AC tune ups and always do a great job. Tom has been helpful with internet thermostat questions.
Our experience was professional and pleasant. Good initial conversation with Jarod to evaluate options and deciding to add furnace to AC, scheduling with Susan, installation with Mike and Abe, and follow-up with Tom to Wright Hennepin. Mike was particular thorough in explanations of the systems and the installation looks great. Nice operation and control with WiFi connected thermostat. Purchased a new AC and furnace via Costco/Golden Valley HVAC. Doug was fantastic - no pressure, no nonsense. He actually tried to talk me into downsizing the AC unit (until he understood the thermal load of our home). A complete distinction from other major players in the Twin Cities. Installation was a breeze and very professional. Highly recommended.
my last install was a furnace and heat pump through costco (the best value i could find). they were professional and did a great job. my previous experience a few years ago was also great.
I love my new lennox a/c and furnace the installers did a profesional job. I've had it installed a few days ago and I'm enjoying the new blue tooth thermostat to. Havnt tried out the furnace yet since it's hot out so I'll have to see.
GV H&A installed my HVAC system prior to when I purchased my house. I was concerned about my A/C so I scheduled an appointment for it to me looked at. It was a simple process to get an appointment and the technician was very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job. I will be using GV H&A going forward as I am impressed!
We had stellar service from GV Heating and Air. They were prompt, professional, and cleaned up after completing the work. They installed a high efficiency furnace and central air the day after giving us their bid. I was impressed with the whole experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
The entire staff at GVHA was terrific. It started with Jim our sales rep and Jodi and Susan the office staff. Guiding us through the purchasing process. Aaron and Josh, our installation technician's, did an outstanding job of creating a piping system to allow use to benefit from a high efficiency heating system. True craftsman and a credit the their occupation. A new system is a big investment and we are very pleased with GVHA's all around service! Thank you.
i recently replaced my furnace by GVHA via a Costco program. the sales person was honest and didn't try to upsell something I don't need. installation was even better - they arrived on time, did a excellent job as far as i could tell, and cleaned up very nicely and hauled away everything. not a single item dumped in my garbage can. i was drawn to this firm by Costco's reputation initially. but at the end of the day, it has earned the next job on its own merit. great service.
This is the second time I've used Golden Valley Heating & Air in the last 10 years. I recently moved to a new home and without hesitation contacted them to install a new furnace and air exchanger. GVHA- the salesperson was not pushy. He was patient, honest, and straightforward; gave us variety of options. The new systems work great and meet our needs beautifully. I highly recommend this company. The install went smoothly- we had a snag- and they were able to help us solve it promptly. We are warm and cozy, and appreciative of GVHA.
The price was great but it took almost 8 weeks to get it installed. The guys were not very professional and had a radio playing the entire they were working in my home with an inappropriate station on while I was trying to work.
We purchased a new Lennox furnace and air conditioner through Costco. From the initial bid and purchase through the installation, GV Heating and Air was professional and friendly. We were extremely satisfied with our experience.
Appreciate the customer service first and foremost. Sat down with Doug Marsh to talk about the different AC and furnace units to purchase. His suggestions on what works best (sometimes that doesn't mean the highest priced item). Install team was on time, professional and courteous. Typically they have 2 guys on the job but I got 4 since the company party was later that evening and guys from other cities were in town. Finished it all in 4 hours. Also, being a Costco member it was a great deal to go through Costco where these guys are a preferred partner of theirs. A nice incentive if you are a member. Thanks GV Heating & Air
