Special thanks to Paul Graczyk & Joe Kennedy over at Lakeview Mechanical.
Had some plumbing issues late on a Thursday night. Joe Kennedy was the person who came out to my home. He discovered a MAJOR issue (main pipe) but was able to put temporary fix in place until the issue could be addressed with a permanent fix. Joe was the lead for the job. Joe is professional , knowledgeable and communicated with me through the entire ordeal. He addressed all my questions and concerns and made the situation bearable. The entire crew was great, they cleaned up after the job and took steps to protect my home. I have had Lakeview at my home multiple times and will continue to do so. Thank you.
There was some misunderstanding when I called the first time to have a plumber come out cause of a sewer backing up. Ed cared enough to call me and explained the circumstances. I will definitely call next time I have a sewer backing up. Thanks Ed
Company has been dreadful to work with. They walked into my home without me knowing and went into my basement. They continuously park in all of the residents assigned parking spaces even after being asked not to.
They replaced my thru-wall AC unit within a day of me reaching out to them! I had been calling around for weeks to find a company that would be willing to do it, and they were able to come next day for a reasonable price, and made sure it was functioning, and insulated well! Pricing was very fair! I told them about a quote that I got from another company on a larger job in my home and they said their estimate would have been for half of what I was told. Wish I had started working with them sooner. Will definitely be using them again when my house decides to fall apart on me!
Joe was amazing! I will definitely be returning for all my services in the future! Won’t regret it!!!
Very professional service - "one call" and the solution is there.
This company tried to tell us we needed a huge repair that was not needed. This was confirmed by two other plumbers that came out.
I have nothing but good things to say about every tech and worker at Lakeview. We have been using them for the past 20 years and they have treated us great. Honest and fair on pricing. Just had new furnace installed in the dead of winter, they were out and got new installed in no time. air conditioner will be installed in spring. Day after Christmas out basement drain backed up and they were out same day. Joe came out with another guy(sorry forgot his name). They talked to my insurance company with me to make sure claim was filed correctly. I could go on and on. They are a great company and I would recommend them to anyone.
Lakeview installed my Furnace / AC in 2021. January of 2023, we persistently were not getting heat at night. Called and had a service tech come out, who took a very brief look and claimed our filter was dirty and that was the problem. Nothing was done. Again, no heat at night. Called again and the Service Manager came out. Stated that it was a "Maintenance Problem" and maintenance should be scheduled every 2 years. It hadn't even been 2 years yet. Serviced the Furnace and all seems to be working properly, however I was charged nearly $170 for service (competitors charge nearly half of that for service work) and was not given any indicator of pricing prior to service being done. Even after the previous day, a tech was out and did absolutely nothing and left us (pregnant wife / 2 year old child) with no heat. Will absolutely never call LakeView again.
Lakeview Mechanical does it again! Our furnace went out during the cold snap on Sunday night. We called Lakeview and although they were booked solid that evening, they were in my driveway at 9:00 am the following morning. Our repair person Dave, was professional, courteous and diagnosed our problem quickly. Even though he had to make a quick run for parts, he had our furnace up and running in under 2 hours. Thank you Dave and Lakeview Mechanical! You are always our first choice!
Called and set up appointment, left work eairly to meet appt time!they never showed up and no call...i call them, they say ill find out what going on call you back in 5min.........2 1/2 later i call back....they say they will have there on call tech call me......still waiting and its the next moring....do not recommend this place worst service i have ever seen.......
We had our old fuses replaced with a new circuit breaker box. Chris, Keegan, and George were phenomenal workers. I highly recommend Lakeview Mechanical; they are amazing.
Prompt quick and clean workers.
Had to call them out twice for two different properties. Fast service!
Quoted $165-$175 to come out and snake. They also ended up using camera. We were charged $465 for an hours worth of work. I asked for an itemized bill, and stated I may post the bill online, and a manager lost his cool. We agreed on $100 refund... Which never came, and now the mailbox is full when he rejects my number. The work is holding up, however I wouldn't trust recommending these folks to family or friends... Seems the extras come at a steep price.
The person that answers the phone is rude and short with people. Not a nice person at all. I would not advise using the for service if the person answering the phone is rude.
They weren't able to come out initially when I requested a quote because it was "too cool out for the repair". I called beginning of April for a/c repair. Then a week later, they called to schedule an appointment for a quote. The person who came out was courteous and seemed knowledgeable. Then I never received a quote. I called 8 days later to be sure they had my contact info correct and they said they'd look into it and call me back. When they did call back, they told me they didn't know when they would be able to even get a quote together and that it would be 'quite a while' before they'd be able to get a quote to me. I took part of a day off work to have this company out for a quote. And it's a time sensitive repair being that my furnace is in my attic and most companies won't work in attics after it's 70 degrees out, for worker safety ( I completely agree and understand this restriction which is why I called so early in the season). I'm disappointed. My overall takeaway is this - If you can't /don't want to do a job just tell potential clients you are not available. Please. It's frustrating to waste everyone's time (mine and the employees). But also makes me feel like my job wasn't worth your time financially, while I'm still stuck with an HVAC system that needs to be repaired.
I had a new air conditioner installed yesterday to replace my 27 year old Carrier unit. Everything went as planned, the technicians were 5-star in every way and the Customer Service Rep who answers the telephone at their office was great too!! Now I'm looking forward to those hot Michigan summer days - Thank you, Lakeview.
Great Service. Not cheep but worthy.
