The guys at Serene Comfort came in and replaced my water heater and did a great job. I would definitely recommend them for the water heater and furnace too. Thanks Ivan and Ray!

I work for a new assisted living company. They came out the day I called and fixed issues we had with our commercial reach in freezer. The technician even went the extra mile and showed me how to work the display menu on the unit. I hope to do business with them in the future.

Just moved into our new home, and the AC stopped working. Did many of the items from the checklists you see on google telling you what to check for, being trying to seek out service. Probably called half a dozen local cooling and heating companies this morning that claim to be 24 hours. Serene was the only one to answer(none of the others have even called back in the last 2 hours) and they were able to help us over the phone, free of charge. While writing this review I just got a voicemail from one of the companies I called who was ready to come right out and charge me a service fee before trying to assist me via phone. Appreciate the assistance, we have a very old unit and will be calling when we need service in the future.

My AC went out on June 21st. I called and spoke with Jonathan at Serene Comfort Heating and Cooling to schedule a service call. I was charged $124 and told the repair to my AC would be $1,689 to replace my ‘high end’ AC Control Board. I looked online and a high end control board is $650. To install it would be under 30 minutes. That means Serene Comfort was going to charge me $1,039 for less than 30 minutes to install it! That is excessive in my book. I then paid another service charge for Briarwood Heating and Cooling to give a quote for the repair. I was only charged $99 for their service call. I was informed it was in fact the AC control board that needed replacing, and at most the charge would be $1,000, that’s $689 cheaper than what Serene Comfort was going to charge me. Better yet, the Briarwood Heating and Cooling guy called me back to tell me the control board on my AC UNIT is covered under warranty, and would only cost me $50 for him to install it the next day. Yes, that’s correct, Serene Comfort either didn’t check this info out, or was going to double dip and charge me AND be paid by the manufacture of the AC UNIT. Either way, they intended to charge me $1,689 for the repair job, and it ended up only costing me $50 for the repair. It definitely pays to get a second or a third opinion, doing so saved me $1,639!!!

Tech was nice and insightful but what they charge is ridiculous! $125 diagnostic fee and $488 for a $100 part. I'm not sure who sets the prices but there's no way I would recommend this company to anyone I know. I'm kicking myself for not just fixing it myself!

Ivan was a great Tech, came out in record time and had my water heater fixed in about 2 hours and cleaned up after himself. Super friendly and explained everything as he did it.

My technician, Ivan, was very friendly, courteous and on time. He worked to trouble shoot first the thermostat and blower motor and found that the capacitor was bad and replaced an arching coil in the outdoor A/C unit. Ivan did a great job cleaning the outdoor unit both inside the electrical panel and thoroughly rinsing off the condenser fins after the repair was completed. Great experience with Serene Comfort Heating, Cooling and Refrigeration.

While the tech was great. I loathe being charged 750 dollars for a 50 dollar part. Highway robbery and zero excuse for it.. 4x the rate sure but charging me that much is asinine emergency or not 7x the cost of the part is ridiculous

I called for ac diagnostic on my air conditioner only to have a man show up and tell me my 34,000 BTU unit is incapable of cooling down my 1400 SQ ft home while the sun is up. Told me no unit will likely be enough. Anyone with Google knows it only take 24,000 BTU to cool house this size. Says pressure indicates no leak. So then why am I roasting whole paying $500 a month for electricity to run this unit all day? ***update*** After speaking with Serene about my displeasure with service they did agree to refund and referred me to specialist who handles manufactured homes. I just wish would have told me up front that they weren't specialized in manufactured homes. However, their customer service did their job and made it right. So thank you Serene for that.

We would use Serene again in a heartbeat! They were caring, to our house within 12 hours of our call in the heat of the summer. The tech was kind and friendly and knew his stuff! He was great with our dogs too! Thankyou Serene for saving us!
