Great service.
Honestly, I have not had the opportunity to use this company, but due to an experience I had with a employee I will absolutely refer this company to any business, friend or family! The gentleman who helped me when I lost my tire was not only able to fix my tire quickly but did so in freezing weather. And on top of it, when we figured my spare had no air, he had a small air compressor to fix that. I didn't see his name, but I hope he knows that I am completely grateful and appreciative of his help. Judging by this small interaction I had with him, I would have to say this company employs hardworking, fast- thinking people who have amazing hearts. Thank you again!
I had furnace maintenance appointment yesterday Sept 28 with Heartside Co. The technician was poorly prepared and could not complete maintenance work for furnace and humidifier. He didn't have filters for neither one. He attempted to tell me how to install them and left after cleaning the burner and turning the furnace on. I had to call the office to complain before tech came back and completed job. Not a good experience!
We had a complicated and unusual installation situation. The Hearthside crew was very conscientious, professional and thorough. The price was very fair. The owner, Raymond, stayed in frequent communication and supervision of the installation, and was helpful during the city inspection. They’re top flight professionals.
100/10 would recommend Hearthside to anyone, I grew up in Madison heights and it's nice knowing I have reliable people I can trust for maintenance in my hometown. Kyle (I believe) was very knowledgeable, professional, and great at explaining exactly what work needed addressing. Thank you for the great work!
The installation of our furnace and air conditioner compressor was challenging, since we don't have a basement and the compressor was some distance from the rest of the HVAC unit. Several heating and cooling companies didn't even submit bids. Ray was very clear as to what would be required, how much time would be involved and the issues that we might encounter with the inspector. He was right on the money in terms of every detail. The cost was very reasonable and consistent with his initial quote. His two workmen were very professional, conscientious and efficient. They seemed to enjoy the challenges that our installation presented. Ray was present during the inspector's visit, and helpful in negotiating and clarifying what steps we needed to take to meet the code requirements. All in all, Hearthside Heating are top notch professionals. We will continue to work with them as long as we own a house.

Hearthside Heating is the best heating and cooling company in Southeastern Michigan. My furnace stopped heating on the coldest day in February. I called Hearthside Heating and I am happy with their service.
First time using Hearthside Heating and I am very pleased. I called on a Sunday and was pleasantly surprised to speak with a person (vs. leaving a voicemail). She told me she'd have a technician call, and he did within 15 mins. We decided that a Monday appointment would be the best option and I got a call promptly after they opened with an appointment time. The technician arrived on time (even a bit early). He gave me a full overview of what he felt was needed, we discussed options, and then he went forward with the plan. I am very pleased with his professionalism and the work that was done. I plan to use Hearthside for all my HVAC needs in the future! Highly recommend.
Had JR come out and work on my York Furnace. He not only took care of the furnace, But found a major issue with my hot water heater blowing out carbon monoxide into my work room. He resolved that issue until I can upgrade it. Thank you very much.
Ray and his team saved the day when our air went out a few weeks ago. It's been such a hot summer and they got our fast and repaired the problem day of. Definitely recommend them!!
30 year ago Ray and his team installed an complete heating and cooling system in my home. I have not had a problem with that system in the last 30 years. Ray and his team recently installed a new healing and cooling system including air ducts and a hot water tank system in my second home. I can honestly say that heartside heating work, equipment and Integrity is very professional and does excellent job
Ray and his crew of experts are the best. When you lose AC late Friday night. Temp 85 in house. They are there next day 8:00am. Joe ran tests. Able to replace part needed. Up and cooling again before 9:30. Ran other tests to make sure cooling system within guidelines. Never hard sell. What is needed and done right. Will always recommend Hearthside.
My heat went out when the temperatures were in single digits. The company sent out a representative so quickly and worked on my heating system to solve the problem. What I appreciate was the fact they testing everything and narrowed down the problem. Went and purchased the part and came back and had it up and running. Also all the education was appreciated as well. My furnace is good but when it does need to be replaced I will be hiring Hearthside Heating.

Last year I purchased a Fast-Stat from them for my thermostat. I contacted them about 5 weeks ago as I found out the fast-stat was defective and thus had to be removed. I spoke with Ray who stated the warranty is for a year (I was over a month from a year) but they will replace this without extra cost. They would have to order the part and would call me once its in to schedule date/time. I was happy about this. A week went by and I contacted them for update. Spoke with receptionist who stated they were about to call me as the part just came in. She asked me about available times and because of both my husband and I working, morning times was not working. She said she will call me next day when service people are out to make time appt for that day. I called her next day as I had not heard back. She now proceeds to act like she never had previous discussion with me. States that since this is a free service and I am not paying for it, they cant schedule me (Mind you, They agreed to do this). Stated They will just randomly call me same day service is out and have them come. I told her this would be impossible as someone has to be home for them to do anything and both my husband and I wont be home at certain times. She then states that since its my issue of not being available, try having maybe my mother or neighbor available (Yes "karen" let me have my mother who lives out of state come or my new neighbors who I dont know be available last minute. Ridiculous) She said they will try couple of times and eventually they can have a time that will work for me, but she cannot schedule something. I told her its the most ridiculous thing I have heard. Why they cant just schedule something as other option means that it will never happen. How can we be available last minutes when we are at work. She did not care one bit and was rude in her responses. I agreed to wait and have them call me (as I obviously had no other option) This review is now 3 weeks after that conversation
The best company I've ever used for these services. I can't speak highly enough of Ray and his colleagues. They have done work for me at several homes, and have solved many of my heating and cooling problems/needs quickly, professionally, and with a care that goes well beyond the normal. Trust is so important, and I wouldn't trust anyone else!!
I had an AC outage late last night on the eve of a 90+ degree day. Hearthside was able to quickly resolve and repair the issue at a very competitive price. I appreciated being contacted prior to the techs arrival. The service technician was polite and professional. Would definitely use again. Thanks for saving the day!
Had them replace the fan motor and fan blade for central AC unit. Hearthside was prompt and courteous. Other HVAC places had a few days wait time, so I was happy that Hearthside could do the repair first thing the next day after my call. Their hourly labor rate is $85, comparable to other companies. Service call fee was $45. Others had a service charge of $85-98, which includes 15 minute to 1/2 hour diagnosis/labor. Joe took the time to review basic ongoing maintenance and was very helpful.
