Duncan has completed our annual tune-up several times since we started scheduling our preventive maintenance. He is always so courteous and professional and is respectful of our property and time. It's always a pleasure to see him, he has a great personality and does a wonderful job of explaining anything we ask. We look forward to seeing him again next year!
I recently had my A/C tuned up by technician Ben. He was very pleasant, polite and professional. He took time to explain what he was doing and why and finished the work in a timely manner. Just a nice young man all around!
Doug came out and did a cleaning on our boiler. His service was great. He was very friendly and informative about what he did. He left the area as clean if not cleaner then when he arrived .
CKSmith used to have a lot of the top techs in the area and they ran them all out of town to other companies once they hired a new GM. I’d recommend using the smaller surrounding businesses as they all work relatively close to CK, and a lot of the techs that worked here are truly great guys. Try some new places out, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
From the moment I picked up the phone, I knew my service tech Doug was going to be great. He was very friendly on the phone and his outstanding customer service continued when he arrived at the house as well. He was knowledgeable, efficient and polite. It’s not often I write a review, good or bad, but I really feel that Doug earned this one and that he deserves some recognition! I’m not sure how long he’s been with the company, but he was a great hire for sure!
Our technician, Doug, was outstanding! He was timely, personal and professional. He even enjoyed patting our noisy dog. :-)
We recently had our furnace and oil tank replaced. The crew that completed the job worked together as a team. Every member that worked on the job was courteous and respectful. They completed all the work in one day. The old furnace and oil tank were removed, the new equipment was brought in and installed. A lot of work was completed, the crew that completed the job worked very well together. They cleaned up everything and patched up any leftover holes from the changes in plumbing before they left. I am a new customer, and I am glad that my wife and I switched to C.K. Smith. They have excellent Technicians and it showed in the job that was completed in my home. I wholeheartedly suggest C. K. Smith to anyone looking for repair work or setting up maintenance program for your home. They are one of the few companies that you can trust with their work and what is going on with your heating system. Thank you for your excellent job in replacing the furnace and oil tank. I have been struggling with this horrible economy and i went to order propane and CK only does minimum of 100 gallons.. UNLESS you are almost full and dont need the 100 gallons. they wont let me order 50 gallons. So I guess my family and i will eat cold food, wear dirty laundry and have no showers until we have 640 dollars to buy the full 100 gallons. They wouldn't even let me pay half now and half next week! Thanks CK Smith for providing outstanding service for your customers. its unprecedented!
Tim Sheperd did a great job for us. He checked everything carefully and repaired, replaced, or tweaked what was necessary. He worked efficiently and was very willing to explain what he was doing and why. In addition, he has an excellent personality and is friendly and polite. Tim is an excellent representative of CK Smith Superior.
I just want to say how much I appreciate how kind and friendly everybody here was! They even made friends with our little dog Gabby and she isn't easy to please! 10/10 Service here. Nick, Chet and Jeff are amazing!
Recently had the bearings on my furnace blower replaced, it had been screeching and keeping me awake at night for over a year. CK had done some work previously but it only was a temporary fix. I held off on the replacement because I couldn't afford it. When it was finally repaired, CK did it for free. They are absolutely great and I have been with them for over 50 years. They always provide a fair deal and excellent service.
I discovered recently that I didn't receive my yearly maintenance service call, though I pay every year for the service contract, and that it was my fault for not calling CK Smith. That seems a backward way to do business to me! I paid for a service I did not get.
I've been a customer of CK Smith/Superior for many years. Their service is superb whether it's regular maintenance or emergency service. Always a pleasure to work with them.
Peter was very thorough and friendly/professional. While doing my annual boiler tune-up, he discovered that I needed a new oil pump as there was a leak inside the burner after troubleshooting cause. He changed it out, as part of his visit, along with usual tune-up parts. Unfortunately, there was also a problem with the fuel supply line (cracks in it) that were not known at the time. The following business day, Ed came out, and after additional troubleshooting, swapped out the supply line part and also changed out the nozzle and oil pump again. No more leaks! Friendly techs! As this was my first tune-up service as a new customer, it was even nicer as my service plan was free, and all parts and labor covered at no cost to me!
"Superior" is an accurate name! These guys are great from start to finish. Excellent phone service - pleasant and helpful, prompt (no matter the time or circumstances - including emergencies) friendly and efficient technicians (I've had several different guys) I depend on these guys - and they haven't let me down.
Awesome job Tim did on our furnace yesterday!! Great guy !!! We had the maintenance service done on our furnace an he did a great thorough job. Plus very professional and knowledgeable! Way to go CK Smith you have a great associate working for you. Very valuable I’d say! Now we’re on auto refills, plus had a new tank installed last year and boy they treat you like family. BEST OIL COMPANY AROUND! They’re LOYAL, HONEST COMPANY THAT EDUCATES YOU ON WHAT YOU HAVE WITH SUGGESTIONS. THANK YOU CK SMITH ONCE AGAIN!!! BEST SERVICE!!

Tim is great. This is the second time he's been at our house for routine service work. Very knowledgeable and professional. Clearly explained the work he was doing. Great service. Very nice guy.
