After contacting several HVAC installers, I decided on Family Heating and Cooling. My first meeting with Cory went great. He gave me several options and help me decide on what system worked best for my needs. Once everything was decided, Vicky worked with me on install dates, information on rebates, and answered every question I had. On install day, Kyle, Colleen, Andrew, and Paul were very professional. The team were super clean and informative with any question I had. Once complete, they made sure we were completely happy with the work. One last thing that I want to mention. Every time I had an appointment, I received a text message with a picture of who I would be meeting and GPS tracking so I knew exactly where they were on the map. This is an A+ company and I will forever be a customer.
5 Stars - Part 1: I can't speak to any completed services from Family Heat and Cooling (yet)... but based on a couple of hours with Cory and Paul for a super informative look at my furnace, and an exploratory trip around my house for the possible installation of mini-splits, I CAN say I would trust these guys with just about anything. They were refreshingly straight forward, very knowledgable, collaborative, fun, and friendly. It was clear they love their work in this family/friends-run business. And on top of all that, they had logo-iced dog biscuits that took my pup's taste buds to places she's never been :)

We moved into our house in March of 2022 and immediately noticed that the forced air heat did not work well in the upstairs zone. This issue continued into the summer with the AC blasting the downstairs zone and basically no flow upstairs. In August Paul Santo of Family came out and determined two items, one is that the dampers for both zones needed to be replaced and the other was that the ducting was of an age that the duct tape used to seal the system was dried out and needed to be replaced throughout the system. Replacing the dampers was straightforward but retaping can be difficult, time consuming and expensive. He suggested looking at the Aeroseal product, a new technology, which seals the ducting from the inside using non-toxic products. After doing some research we agreed to do the Aeroseal and damper replacement. The team of Coleen, Cameron and Paul came and in one day completed the work. Yes, I did take the cat out of the house for the day but it was a very clean, non-messy process. I can now say that with the winter almost over, that the Aeroseal process/product does work and that the Family team did a great job. I expect the effectiveness to continue with the switch from heat to AC during the summer. Highly recommended!
Everyone here is very helpful, from the initial phone call to the service techs. Nobody will ever be happy with the cost of a furnace replacement, but they price fair and are very thorough and informative. If you need your system checked out I would definitely recommend giving them a call!

Family Heating & Cooling is THE place to have your work done. My heat pumps (mini splits) were installed quickly, nice and clean at a great price. All my questions were answered whenever I asked. I highly recommend and will definitely use them again.

Paul came out today to provide maintenance service to our HVAC system. As always Paul provided great service. He's extremely knowledgeable and teaches us along the way. We know our family is in good hands with Paul.
My husband and I hired Family Heating & Cooling to install a brand new HVAC system throughout our home and a mini-split in our basement. From our initial consultation to the final install of both systems the team has been fantastic. All members of the team have been knowledgeable, professional, responsive and kind throughout the entire process. Family Heating and Cooling recently installed AC in my two story home. They are the nicest, most professional, hard working, respectful crew of young men who all went to great lengths to finish the job during several days of a heatwave. Paula Santos, Manny Lindo, Jaydon Arsenault and Dave are all deserving of a 5 star rating. I would highly recommend Family Heating and Cooling.
We had our mini split units installed May 9th & 10 of this year. The reason for the delay of this review. We wanted to get through a heat wave. The system passed with flying colors. Awesome!!! Justin (The owner) was very knowledgeable and helped us along the way with certain saving benefits and took care of everything. The technicians (Kyle & Jason) that did the installment were fantastic very polite and helpful with our installment. This team I highly Recommend... They did a great job!!!! All in all, it was a great experience working with Family Heating & Cooling. No Regrets. Thanks Mark & Liz

So disappointed in this business. I referred Justin numerous jobs that actually materialized into work. We have since moved and needed him to install new A/C. We were told he no longer services the area. Given the amount of work we referred that we know turned into jobs, and the amount of word-of-mouth referrals we've given him, we asked if there could be an exception made. Completely blown off by the support staff person. The original loyal customers get left behind. Disappointing.

Impeccable customer service. Justin designed the best system for our needs, and Manny and the team were great to work with during the timely and efficient installation process. The recommended aeroseal process has done wonders in our home. I can't recommend this company enough. I spoke to all of the big guys in the market, and decided to go local instead. I'm so glad I did. Thank you Justin, Manny and the whole team for a great experience.

Excellent service. They walked me through everything they were doing and explained in detail. They did not push me into buying things I didn't need. I will use them for all my needs going forward. The technician was Paul Santos and he was very professional and knowledgeable. Great job.
