We are extremely pleased with the high level of service from Berkshire. They installed our furnace and air conditioning unit in 2019 and have continued to provide the same level of excellence over the years. Berkshire is always timely with reminders for annual check ups and notifications of service calls. Today was another example with our annual A/C check. The technician Jason was thorough, efficient, and knowledgeable. Thanks, Jason, for your work today. We feel secure that our heating and cooling needs are so well handled by Berkshire. Tim and apprentice were very quick, efficient, clean, and did an excellent job. He explained everything very clearly and made sure I understood before they left. I am highly impressed with them!
I’d give this business 6 stars if I could. Professional, timely, knowledgeable, and warm service. Every guy that’s stepped foot in my house has been great. I’ve spent a fair amount of money with them this year and wouldn’t blink doing it again because of the way they treat me and their continued level of service.
Technician Jason came to my home for yearly heating maintenance. True professional. Besides yearly maintenance, he fixed a problem with the humidifier that was installed incorrectly. Easy to talk too. Explains thing’s clear. Gave me some good tips for keeping system running and more efficient. 5 star service!

Came home from work on a 20° evening to find my house ice cold and furnace not working. Called for emergency dispatch and spoke with Tim. After gathering some info he said, "I'll see you shortly." 10 minutes later dude shows up with his Home Depot bucket and went right to work. 20 minutes after that our system was working perfectly. Tim was very kind, personable, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. He even offered advice on our old water heater. We decided to pay in full for a 2 year service agreement which gets you a lot of perks and is very affordable. Regular maintenance, priority dispatch, reduced cost parts and whatnot. A very good deal for these older New England homes. I was a little embarrassed about the cleanliness of our kitchen, but a true professional Tim was, he said not a word 🤪 10/10 would recommend calling Berkshire Heating & Air. "Your NEIGHBOR just did!” don't quit your day job, Josh. 😉
I had scheduled a furnace maintenance and took time off work and they canceled the first time due to an employee quitting. They rescheduled for almost 6 weeks later. On the day of the second appointment I got a call to cancel again due to many customers being without heat, which is totally understandable, but then they wanted to schedule the next appointment for another month away. I have taken off work twice and have questions about our furnace and eventually didn't even take the next appointment. The person on the phone was very smug and kept stating that the people with no heat are priority and I agreed every single time, my problem is that they couldn't get me in for another month and she acted like she was doing me a favor. I originally called in October and we are now in the end of January. I will find someone else
10/10 time and time again. Started services with Berkshire Heating and Cooling based on a recommendation from a friend. This group gets it right every time: a human answers the phone, immediate service, 0 issues. I recommend this group to anyone and everyone that needs HVAC/plumbing service. Top knotch!
i have 2 homes and a furnace at my business and they wont take any business accounts. unprofessional
Berkshire Heating & Air Conditioning repaired our boiler and we also hired them to install our Central Air Conditioning both this year. We were very pleased with their knowledge and workmanship. As they were doing the job and when they finished the job they explained everything to us. They cleaned up any mess that was made. I would refer Berkshire Heating & Air Conditioning to a friend.
Incredibly happy with the work Berkshire heating did at my house. Jim, rich and griffin were very nice and very knowledgeable. They took their time and made sure everything was perfect. The work is well done and they cleaned up when they left. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!
I'm a first time customer of Berkshire Heating, my service guy was Tim H., from start to finish he and his helper were awesome!!!, it's great to see people like these two gentlemen who take pride in doing there job the correct way or should I say doing a job like it was for them...in my opinion that is something alot of folks dont do anymore!!!
Berkshire Heating & Air today installed a mini split in my sunroom in Longmeadow. Steve and Brian, the installers, were top notch. Great guys who worked really hard making it perfect. Bob the electrician was super helpful too and gave me some great advice. Pricing was excellent and to have the entire process from ordering to installation done in a week was simply remarkable. 5 stars. Highly recommend.
We had our new central air ac replaced a couple of months ago. Our electric bill is more than half it was last year with the new system. I am so thankful. Everyone did a great job helping us. I would highly recommend this company. We are so pleased!
Sent person that didn’t know about electronic air filter system on A/C or how to clean. Asked them prior to confirming appoint if person would know. Was assured theY did. Person had no clue
Techs replaced air handler and condenser. They were on time and professional. They took time to answer all my questions even as they worked. After they left I had an issue which caused water to leak onto my basement floor, approx. 2 hours later. I called, after hours, and an emergency tech arrived that night. He made an adjustment and the problem was fixed. The next morning I was contacted by the main office as a follow up.
Jason recently serviced my two air-conditioning units. Not only did he do a thorough inspection, but he discovered that they air did not seem to be circulating properly and discovered that the registers were not installed properly which was blocking the vents and returns. He took the time to check everyone throughout the entire house and corrected the problem. He also noticed that a gutter extension near the condensers was bent and water was pooling within it, which he emptied out. Kudos to Jason for being so thorough and conscientious! Larry G

We have been using berkshire heating & air for quite some time. They are a wonderful company and are always reliable. Most recently on the yearly A/C system start up and cleaning that was performed by Jason, he was very professional, on time and courteous. He took his time to make sure everything was properly checked and serviced. The company is lucky to have tech as good as Jason!
