We had Silco install a new furnace and AC in 2016, and it was the worst decision I have ever made as a homeowner. They made beginner mistakes with the installation, like removing copper when stripping wires resulting in an intermittent connection they had to return to fix. Then they replaced leaked coolant twice before they figured out they installed a faulty unit from the start - but Silco still charged me $400 for the work, despite the inconvenience of several service calls and the fact that we had no AC for the whole summer. Now, in 2020, I find out that they failed to install a filter holder as the installation directions clearly say to do. They expected us to put the filter directly inside the furnace cabinet instead (see photo) which is difficult, unsafe, and makes the filter not work properly. We are going to have to pay a lot to have a filter holder retrofitted. Not sure if they don't know better, can't read, or just don't care, but stay away from Silco Plumbing. Oh, and they leave their empty soda cans for you to pick up.

Silco is always professional and courteous. They always offer great advice and explain every available option. I've used them for many years and consistently have a great experience with thier people.
Quoted $1600 on a job that I got done for $300 when asked for breakdown of parts vs labor guy shrugged...did come out on time to quote the job though, now a day 3 stars for that.
Last used in May of last year and had no problem As a pre-existing customer who paid his bill immediately am irked at how treated this time. I needed a plumber with a helper to disconnect and re-connect my gas stove as having a floor installation Called timeley and set dates and time and coordinated with floor installer. The day before the service was required received a call that could not do the job. as did not have the help. Gave no recommendations or referrals to another plumbing service to help rectify the problem and called late morning to advise This is not a good business practice Would never recommend them as reliable \ I had to call several companies and Heretage Plumbing came through Silco lost over a $1000.00 on this call alone and future calls by me if could put 0 stars would
Joe is friendly and professional. All the while he installed the new shower attachments in a neat and efficient manner. I would reccomend silco plumbing to anyone.
Phillip was honest and helpful.
I called the Silco emergency line to address a leak in my guest shower and I got a call back within 20 minutes. After speaking with Phillip he was at my house within an hour. I'm extremely pleased with every aspect of their work and can't recommend them enough. Phillip explained every step and detailed the cost. Thank you so much!!!

Called silco to fix my a/c witch in return had him check out another a/c that hasn't worked in 17 years and 2 people said it was broken silco got it running in minutes! Was very impressed very great job joe was great. Pleasure doing business thank you. Would recommend to anyone

We hired Silco to order and install three very complicated toilets in our new home. Harry arrived on time every day and demonstrated thorough knowledge in not only plumbing, but many other subjects related to home maintenance. He got the work done quickly and with minimal disruption, and we ended up with much nicer toilets than we had previously expected at a lower cost than was anticipated. Great local company!

My interactions with Silco have been nothing but positive. From scheduling to the job itself, their work is friendly, professional, and thorough. Most recently, Ronnie replaced rotted piping under a sink, and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. Would recommend Silco to anyone.
