I worked with BRW Mechanical on my new house on the Cape, installing 6 zones split units / heat pumps this summer. We installed 2 outside units and 6 heads. Konstantin was very professional and methodical, he knew what he was doing. I needed a new heat pump installed and he did a great job.
I highly recommend Konstantine as an exceptionally professional, responsive, knowledgable specialist. I had continuous issues with one of my central AC units. Several companies looked at it and completely dismissed any possibility of repair — it had to be replaced. One Saturday that unit stopped working. I called Konstantine (BRW Mechanical) who was recommended by a friend. Konstantine came same day couple hours later and started with a thorough examination and testing. To my surprise he determined that the unit itself was in pretty normal condition, but the problem was with the electronic part of the entire system. Konstantine promptly ordered and replaced defective part. He also pointed out that my first generation Nest thermostat was not installed in optimal way. So he fixed that issue as well. Overall it was a very easy and pleasing experience that provided tremendous value.
I used BRW Mechanical twice already and both times was very pleased. Konstantine is extremely thorough, very knowledgeable, transparent about the process and the cost and punctual. First time, I had an issue with my rental unit central AC system during summer 95F weather and I was bounced around between HVAC provider that I called and an electrician, who kept coming and saying that is was another guys problem. Until I found Konstantine from BRW Mechanical. Konstantine was amazing to diagnose the issue quickly and meticulously. He then provided a quote and proposal for replacement and completed the job on time and successfully. Along the way, he pointed out all possible risks involved with his recommendation on mitigating them. Second time, Konstantine came to take a look at the Furnace in my home that stopped working. He found and fixed the issue quickly and pointed out all possible root caused that might have led to it. When it was time to replace the unit, he provided very clear and detailed consultation on options and things to look out for during selection of new equipment and installation.
