The technician Will was excellent to work with, very professional and explained everything well. I trusted his advice and he was a pleasure to work with. My only issue is the cost that Nicholson wanted to charge to refresh the system with R22 coolant, which I had on-hand, was so unreasonably high ($500 for the tech who was already onsite) I'm now needing to find another HVAC company to come out to do a simple coolant recharge to get my system working as it should. Frustrating.

Ollie was great in helping us replace our Floodmaster on our water heater when it surged out after a lightning strike. I called at 9:00 AM and Ollie was able to make it out by 11:00 AM. Hot water was back up and running by 11:30. He took time to explain how everything worked and gave us some recommendations on maintenance for our water heater. Will definitely be calling Nicholson again for plumbing service.

Me: called nicholson plumbing, have a leaky faucet Plumber arrives: its a leaky faucet Me: ok Plumber: I dont have tools to repair it Me: ok, replace it Plumber: I dont have a faucet on me Me:Can u get it Plumber: No Me: Let me get it from home depot, be back in 15 minutes, Can u put it Plumber: No Me: The stop valve is stuck can you tighten it so leak stops temporarily Plumber: No Me: what can u do Plumber: Buy a faucet, we will install it in 2-3 days, about $400+tax Me: will let u know Plumber: Spends about 30 minutes taking pictures writing notes. Give me $150 for this visit Me: Pays the amount, plumber leave with water still leaking, thanks for nothing. Me: Bought faucet from home depot, another plumber came in few hours and put it for $125, same 1 year job warranty. he spent exactly 8 minutes and 34 seconds in my home for this job. Next steps: Will report $150 payed to IRS as charitable contribution. Advice to Nicholson plumbing company: No need to invest in plumbing tools, supplies and custom painted trucks. All it needs to rob somebody is a knife or a handgun.

I had a very unpleasant customer service experience if not the worst customer service experience with Nicholson. Instead of resolving a disconnect over a promotion, the technician kept repeating it is not worth his time to argue about the disconnect. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the appointment because of the kind of service I was experiencing. I am positive this situation could have been handled in many different polite nicer ways. I called Nicholson and reported the incident. The customer service rep on the call was polite and kind enough to hear me out. She said she would escalate this to the supervisor and I should hear back soon. Around the same time, I started having a text exchange with Nicholson. It is only after letting Nicholson know about my intent of sharing my experience as a google review, I got a call. The call started well but went southwards when the customer service supervisor started questioning the timing of the promotion. I just wanted to share my experience in hope that existing and future Nicholson customers get decent treatment.

Very disappointed: We had Nicholson Plumbing & Electrical come over this afternoon to install a ceiling fan in our bedroom. A few moments later two guys showed up, spent 5 minutes taking a look at the job and asking questions, and went back to their car. 10 minutes later they presented us with a quote of $1,956 for the job and told us they don't have the tools today. They collected $89 dispatch fee and left. Would anyone spend $1,956 to install a ceiling fan? I felt like we paid $89 for nothing other than an unrealistic quote. BTW I told the dispatcher on the call what parts we'll need and if we need to purchase them ourself. They said they will bring everything. Now I already assembled the fan. It would have been nice if they just let me know they can't do it!

I recently asked Nicholson to assess some intermittent issues with my water pressure. The technician, Kyle Hanam, did phenomenal work. From the moment he arrived, he was ultra-professional, personable, very competent, and efficient. Within a few hours, he had resolved the water pressure issue in my shower, identified a leak in my water heater, patiently answered all of my questions and explained the issues, worked with the vendor to obtain the warranty information, and replaced my leaking water heater. Based on my positive experience with Kyle, I plan to contact Nicholson in the future if I have any more issues with my plumbing. I highly recommend Nicholson!

Greatest HVAC tech I have ever seen. 1 of my 2 units was having an issue. Ghavri showed up early, diagnosed my issue in less than 3 minutes when the last tech from another company said he needed additional support after an hour. Will always call Nicholson first from here on out.

Years ago, as new homebuyers Nicholson lied to us and informed us we needed a new furnace because it was cracked. We had the furnace repaired - it was something like a timer - and ran it for another ten years. I hate seeing the Nicholson billboards around because they outright lied to our faces.

Last week, I received a quote for a major HVAC installation from Nicholson. I am not going to complain about the pricing in their quote, but I am going to complain about the pressure they applied to accept the quote. I was told that if I didn’t commit to their captioned price that day that the price would go up. This sales tactic is not only crude, it cost Nicholson the work.

Beware- Nicholson's customer service and schedulers will straight up lie to your face to get you to make an appointment. I had scheduled a maintenance, and specifically asked what was included, in particular asking if cleaning the outdoor units were included and was told yes. However when the "maintenance" was complete and I asked about the cleaning they apologized and said that wasn't included and that they were particularly sorry because the customer service had apparently been doing that a lot lately. This essentially means that it is commonplace for Nicholson to mislead and scam their customers, as I essentially paid many times the price of a filter for some guy to come in and put a single one in and then recommend more services from his company. The worst part of the scam is that the person in front of you isn't the person you have the issue with so unless you want to rage at a random person, you have to just accept that you got scammed and hand over the cash. And the quotes are particularly useless since they are from a company that started your relationship off on a lie.

Hired Nicholson to fix my AC and paid for the part in 2022. They ordered it and it “arrived” in the fall. We scheduled a repair with them in March23 and they called the day of the appointment to tell us that the part came in defective. Multiple calls later they haven’t scheduled anything and cannot tell us when the part will be available. They routinely tell us that they’ll call us with an update and never deliver on that. We didn’t use the AC last year and it’s not looking good for 2023 either! Pick a service company that is competent and will care about your needs. Skip Nicholson.
