Grumpy Steve as we call him installed a hose spigot and when he did where it was a screw on connection he welded we a pipe into it so I need to call him next time I need a faucet changed out. But I won’t call him. I’ll use Uponor expansion pex and replumb it way better then he did and it’s easy to do. Stupid me also had him working on an outdoor shower on my few million dollar summer home. When he installed the shower head he put his vice grips on it instead of using one of his dirty towels then the vice grips to prevent scratching it up. So my new shower head has marks on it. I think Steve is jealous therefor disrespectful and incaring of the quality of work. We even offered to fix him up with a gal pal of my wife’s who needed some fun and was willing to show Steve a fun time since he clearly needs it. Grumpy steve said what’s a gal built like that want with me? She’s out of my league. We stopped trying to cheer Steve up. We think he wants to be a grumpy plumber and is to old to change his ways. It’s easy to be cheesy for Steve.
I wish I had someone like Steve near me. He knows what he is doing and never sells you things you do not need. Hard to find guys like him anymore. Just watching his videos helps me learn more about my own stuff so I know what and when something needs replaced vs repaired. Thanks Steve! Never done business with him since he’s lives in a completely different region of the U.S. than where I live, however his YouTube channel is phenomenal. He’s knowledgeable, honest, and even hilarious. He tells it as it is and is not afraid to say what’s on his mind. Would love to do business with him, but as stated he lives in a completely different region unfortunately.
Steve is absolutely awesome! He's respected by countless HVAC technicians globally. If you want a slick song and dance salesman, he's not your man. If you want honest quality work, Lavimoniere Plumbing Heating & Cooling is the very best choice!
5 Star Service.
Absolutely the WORST customer service I have dealt with! Was told to shut off our ac until he could get there. Ok fine. He was then asked when that would be as we have an elderly person in the home with us, so that we could figure things out, he proceeded to say “I’m all set” & slammed the phone down! Giving him 1 star was wayyy more than he deserved. I work in an office taking/making 100+ calls per day - this is NOT how you handle things.
I wouldn't recommend this plumber to anybody. He laughed in my face and hung up. Sounded like a rude red neck. I hope you don't get no service.
Used this company twice so far and both times quick response and excellent work.

The best! Tells it like it is, tries to save you money. Excellent at his trade. My Dad was a boiler repair guy, he would laugh when people would call and say my boiler is broke, no heat, give me an estimate! TIME AND MATERIALS!
Both myself & another household member called multiple times as we were without heat for upwards of 5 days & nobody in the area was available, never answered phone & no call back either. Ended up calling a company from Boston that had a tech out within 3 hours. Our household is compromised of small business owners who choose to support local small businesses but unfortunately no answer or call back from this company!
I had a gas fed steam boiler that died. Called me back within a couple of hours and said he was coming right over. Had it fixed in an hour and explained exactly what was wrong, and what to look out for. Awesome job, Steve!
Steve is an Old School Technician who knows his way around the block! He tells it like it is and doesn't give you any sort of bullcrap sales pitch just to make a quick buck. If you want a REAL technician and not some phoney baloney salesman, look no further!
Poor business service. No communication. No call, No show so called "professional ". Waste of time. I called for service on Tuesday and left a message. Called back on Wednesday and spoke to Owner, I discussed the problem i was having and he agreed to take the job for Friday. Gave address and phone #. Friday came and nothing. So I called at 11am no answer left message. Called again at 3pm and same no answer left message. Next day and still nothing. This HVAC Business is a waste of time. If you can't do your job, don't pretend and take the job.
Good enough for this neighborhood!
